This was such a romantic story. Though at times I was annoyed at the constant flashbacks in time, it all helped develop the story. I enjoy seeing the younger siblings get their chance at love. Gwen and Craig coming together after a tumultuous friendship spanning 10 years is just sigh worthy. There were a few editing errors, but nothing to keep you from enjoying this super romantic story! Despite that, I still find myself thinking about what I left behind, as I learn more about what my parents did with my money, and my former hockey team struggles to deal with my apparent death. I read the first 4 books in this series as a box set. It was a wonderfully written, packed saga! I loved the "biblical" aspect without it being a religious story.
"I'll never walk away from you again. I will worship and love you every day that you let me." The romances in this book, though some end, and others begin, it's a beautiful tale. This story is so different from other Vampire/Witch novels I have read. There are many shocking revelations.
There are sexy moments and emotional moments. But watching Sophia change and grow as a person makes this even better. Though there is sex in the story, I don't think it's too much that an older YA reader couldn't enjoy this. It's not overtly explicit. This series, with each page had me gripped and begging for more! I read all of the 4 books in this box set in one day! I just couldn't seem to put this book down. What a great read! You won't be disappointed.Why no voting buttons? At first for me, the story drug on too long. If it wasn't so long, it could have been a great read. But for me, I just got bored. But I plugged on. It was only the beginning that really was too slow for me. The characters were well written, and I liked them. As the story progresses, you get a real look at what happens when you become parents.
Watching Jeremy and Livy struggle with their changing relationship, their changing duties and needs in life was good. This was such a true accounting of giving yourself up for your child, your spouse, losing yourself. I could really relate with Livy. This is a long book, and at times I really wondered why it was taking so long to end. But as I thought of the end of the story and the progression to get there, then it made sense. Every thing fell into place. I wouldn't so much call this a romance, as a very realistic look at life. It was truly a decent book!Why no voting buttons? So why do I like writing erotic romance? I like being able to push beyond traditional boundaries. I like dealing with a female character who is growing and evolving - questioning her sexual boundaries and pushing past them. My stories usually include menage a trois. It is great fun to write a heroine choosing between two equally appealing heroes... or more.
These aren't women who just jump into bed with anyone. They find themselves in an unusual situation - something exciting and erotic - but a situation where they have to push themselves beyond their comfort level. As a result, they grow as a person. So often fear holds us back - of what others will think of us, of what we will think about ourselves - and we don't follow our hearts. These women push past that fear.
