At first for me, the story drug on too long. If it wasn't so long, it could have been a great read. But for me, I just got bored. But I plugged on. It was only the beginning that really was too slow for me. The characters were well written, and I liked them. As the story progresses, you get a real look at what happens when you become parents.
Watching Jeremy and Livy struggle with their changing relationship, their changing duties and needs in life was good. This was such a true accounting of giving yourself up for your child, your spouse, losing yourself. I could really relate with Livy. This is a long book, and at times I really wondered why it was taking so long to end. But as I thought of the end of the story and the progression to get there, then it made sense. Every thing fell into place. I wouldn't so much call this a romance, as a very realistic look at life. It was truly a decent book!Why no voting buttons?
