Never Too Late to Say Merry Christmas (2014)
Sending out love to all our love to all our friends and family.
Not sure what to say about 2014. We had another good summer on the truck together, and Collin is doing well running solo for the winter months when it just doesn't make sense for the two of us to be out there together. We are plotting and working toward a near future when we can stay a bit closer to home, but there will be more news on that as it comes about. Not much to say now except that it is in the works.
I guess the biggest news is that *we* are now grandparents. Collin's son Luke and his beautiful bride Guadalupe welcomed Luke Owen into the world on November 25th. (Sorry if I don't have all the deets. I suck at that kind of stuff.) Collin will be home soon and we plan to get up and see them all as soon as we can. Then I'm sure we will have some pictures to post. :-)
We are proud of *our boys* - Jeremy, who is wrangling horses at Turpin Meadow Ranch in Moran Wyoming, Luke, who is driving for Swift, and Caleb, who is working at a church near Atlanta, Georgia. It has been a continuing blessing to have them in our lives.
I worked on my third book, and finally completed it. It will be going to my new editor soon, and I'm aiming for a Valentine's 2015 release. Of course, creating a second book set in the 'world' I created in Blinding Justice required a few adjustments. If you are interested to learn about that process, I wrote a blog entry about it. I wish I could post pictures from our year in this note, but you can see more in my Through the Windshield album, on facebook.
Lots of other little things could be mentioned I'm sure (visit to the Grand Canyon, Cape Canaveral, Little Bighorn National Battlefield, Army Heritage Center) but all in all, 2014 was a pretty mellow year.
Here's to 2015 being another solid year of love, peace and comfort - and may these blessings spread out into a troubled world.
