Yve Chairez is a Chicana writer who recently returned with her husband and three kids to her hometown of San Antonio, Texas after living in London, Las Vegas, and Key West.

Yve is a freelance writer and MA student studying multi-ethnic literature. She is the founder and Creative Director of Hellbent Magazine, which offers alternative perspectives on culture and humanity. Her writing, if you can stomach it, is bold, sometimes absurd, and often sociopolitical; as a nod to, or compulsion of, her fashion design roots, the cultural arts always inform Yve's plots, settings, or characters' lives.
