Weasel Press’s Civilized Beasts anthology was featured on the program Culturally F’d. The hosts combine music with poetry from the anthology and outside of the anthology. It’s wonderfully put together!

If you want a copy of Civilized Beasts, you can grab one online at Amazon, Kindle, Smashwords, iBooks, Barnes N Noble, and more. All profits from this anthology are donated to the Wildlife Conservation.

“In a country that wishes your children buried, you do not wish a child on your children. You wish them loneliness, or a lover eager to keep an empty bedroom.”

You know what day it is? It’s release day! Weasel Press is starting this month off with a brand new thriller by WP author RK Gold. In Brinwood, few come out alive. The community of this town is forced to survive under the control of harsh religious fanatics. Traitors are murdered and displayed as a warning to keep their subordinates brainwashed and worshiping. Casper was living outside of Brinwood as an exile, told never to return, but when he received word that has family was in danger, he snuck through the border in hopes to save them. Will he be able to escape the cold grip of their leadership? Available now on Amazon and Smashwords! Kindle coming later today!

beatbopped:

Coming soon from Weasel Press….it’s 1985, Thatcher’s Britain, the spectre of IBM, bad drugs, paranoia, congested roads, Welsh rain, Scottish beer, the fear of Duran Duran, exploding rodents, suicidal sheep and the reign of the reptiles…an awfully bad trip to the heart of the British disease.

It’s poetry month! What better way to start off this awesome celebration of poetry than with a Weasel Press book. Just hit market, Michael Prihoda’s first full length collection with us, the same that happened yesterday! Copies now available in our online store and on Amazon.

the same that happened yesterday is a collection of experimental poetry. Prihoda released his first chapbook with us titled In Another Life, Maybe. the same that happened yesterday is a deep exploration of anxiety, pain, stress, and the misunderstanding inherent to any relationship’s demise. Expanding on his work with In Another Life, Maybe, this latest collection digs further into the human condition!

Michael Prihoda was born and has lived various places in the Midwest. His creative publications can be found in journals across the web and in print. He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology and is the author of the poetry collections In Another Life, Maybe (Weasel Press, 2015), Hear (Sein Und Werden Books, 2015), and The First Breath You Take After You Give Up (Weasel Press, forthcoming 2016). In addition, he is the founding/managing editor of the experimental literary journal and small press After the Pause.
