I grew up in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado. As a small town girl, I had great friends but that didn't mean adolescence was easy. So when I entered my middle school years, I turned to books to escape the woes of being a teenager. Before I knew it, I was hooked. In books, I have traveled the world, been transported into space, and have saved many, many people. In fact, I love books so much that after teaching middle school social studies for a number of years, I became a Teacher Librarian. What a super fun job!
