Vote for “EMERGENT” by J. D. Tew… only 4 weeks left! (due by Feb. 29, 2016)
Emergent is a dynamite, rock ’em, sock ’em book that I edited!
Here’s the blurb:
It’s 2065, and wonders abound: space-scraping buildings, teleportation, and, time travel. But Mel Taggit, a young inventor, turns to the cosmos, inventing a device that will change space travel forever. His creation attracts Emergent—the world’s highest spacescraper, commanded by a god-like intelligence, E. It has plans for Mel, but one thing stands in its way: Mel’s mother disappeared there years ago. And though he swore to never return, Mel will discover the truth or meet his mother’s fate.
And here’s where to vote:
Vote for EMERGENT by Feb. 29, 2016
Note: There is no book available right now… it will be available shortly after that date. You won’t be able to read the full book. Like EVERYONE ELSE who enters this contest, it’s all based on reading the first ten pages or so! But hey, that’s quick and fun, right? And if you like it, get excited for March, when you can download it as Kindle, Kobo, or print version!
And if the masterful J. D. Tew wins a publishing contract thanks to all your votes, that would be awesome! THANK YOU!
Click on the “Nominate” button when you see the website above… !! And read instructions to read the first ten pages or so, and you can even download this brief excerpt on your Kindle Reader device, if you choose!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!
Brits sure like me!
I’ve had four contracts with Brits who are excited to be authors. Two were in non-fiction, one dealing with athletics, and the other dealing with getting great grades at university.
For the other two books with Brits, both fiction, one book dealt with a blokes’ holiday, with raunchy humour, and the other book focused on three women dealing with the ups and downs of modern urbane life.
The other clients I have are Americans. I’ve written a girl’s series, and it’s loads of fun. One book I’m co-authoring with another American is an epic fantasy and deals with a brave young woman seeking to right the wrongs of her father, an evil king.

The Deadly Wizard Games
Warriors From Beyond…. Epic Fantasy!
Book that I edited… check out this interview on the award-winning school reading website, Litpick!
Warriors From Beyond Interview
SIX MINUTES WITH W.F. BLUSHEIRE:
On today’s “Six Minutes with an Author,” Litpick extends a warm welcome to W. F. Blusheire! Blusheire is the author of the Warrior from Beyond series, about six young adults on a post-apocalyptic Earth who do not know they are part of a prophecy that had pre-destined them to be Warriors.
How did you get started writing?
Maybe it was moving around a lot during his childhood that made W. F. Blusheire a quirky writer of fantasy. Before W.F. would take up the pen to write, he would proudly serve his country in the military. Soon though, W.F. would find himself taking up the pen, his creative sword, and wielding it in order to create fantasy worlds and characters like those he remembered as a child. And so W.F. crossed the threshold from fan to creator, attending Full Sail University (yes, that is its real name) in Winter Park, Florida, obtaining his BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment.
Who influenced you?
Hungry with the need to recreate a new environment every time he settled down, he developed a passion for fantasy. While growing up, he savoured Lord of the Rings, X-Men and Avenger. Experiencing these strange yet familiar worlds with their very human characters struck a chord within W.F.’s young self.
Do you have a favorite book/subject/character/setting?
The epic fantasy realm, with all its mythical creatures and its promise of a pure, refreshing world where bottomless springs of water and deep, dense forests abound, is his favorite. W.F. hopes you will immerse yourself in a realm where vampires, werecats, gargoyles, elves, and ogres live side-by-side in the Five Kingdoms, in the fantasy world of Beyond.
