Series Complete
Finally, after many months of preparation, contemplation and a little procrastination - the final book in my Raven Series is complete! It is in the editing phase, now, but will be available for purchase soon!
The characters are so near and dear to my heart that I couldn't imagine parting with them. I considered adding a fourth book to the series, but after much contemplation I have ended it here. :)

Mojo & a Muse
It has been a long journey since I published my first book. I've written many things between then and now, although most I'm holding onto a little longer before putting them out for the world to see. It feels great to have my writing mojo back!
I am nearing the end of the final draft for the last book in my Raven Series. It should be ready for an early spring release!

My 3rd Book - Releasing this weekend! Finally!
I'm excited to announce the release of my third novel, One Girl's Life! *YAY*
It's just a step away from my usual paranormal romance writing, but it's just as close to my heart. There are no angels, demons or other ungodly creatures lurking in the dark in this one. :)
One Girl's Life is a journey through Nicole's high school years as she reflects back on your life through her childhood journal. A single child, born to a loving, but alcoholic father and an abused mother, her world crashes down when the inevitable divorce arises. Abandoned by her friends and betrayed by her childhood crush, she must choose between the boy she's always loved and the one who has always loved her.

Considering a Blog Tour
I'm trying to decide if I should do a blog tour now or wait a few more months until my second book has been released. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to message me. I've checked out some tour hosts and they all look the same to me. I'm open to suggestions and recommendations, though.
In the mean time I'm enjoying doing various author interviews. The latest one can be found here:

Hopefully, the pollen will get washed away soon and I can get back to writing. It's almost impossible to focus with a nagging headache.

~ EDITING OCD ~
Does every new author become infected with EDITING OCD?

I edited my book countless times before I ever decided on the release date. I read it over and over again. I even edited my edits! Why wasn't that enough?
I uploaded my book and reviewed it once more for a little last minute editing, but that didn't satisfy me either. I uploaded and re-uploaded and re-uploaded...then...
I released my book almost two weeks ago and STILL I am continuing to edit it!
I am ready to check myself into an authors rehab clinic that specializes in EDITING OCD. I may well drive myself insane before I can convince myself that my book is as editorially perfect as it's going to get.
I am exhausted, but thankful for every experience I have had as a new author.
As part of the 12 step program I am about to enforce (on myself) I am NOT going to edit this blog before I publish! :P
Happy reading!!

Tag! A game of SEVEN's
I recently joined a group, Self Published and Indie Authors, Promote Yourself Here & a game of promotional tagging has ensued! I will tag the author in my blog then ask for 7 other's to join in. I must post 7 lines, beginning with the 7th line on page 7 or 77 from my book,Raven. I will then tag the seven new authors and the author who tagged me. Great exposure especially for new authors! :)

I was invited into this game by Dream Weaver author Su Williams.
Seven lines from page 77 of my young adult paranormal romance novel, Raven:

“I can’t stand on my leg. It’s broken.” I was so afraid to look
at it that I hadn’t taken my eyes off of Chase. He laughed.
“If you want me to carry you then you should just ask. You don’t have
to pretend that your leg is broken.”
He chuckled and lifted me gently out of the car and into his arms.
I looked at him puzzled as to why my leg wasn’t hurting any more.
Surely the sudden movement would’ve caused it to blaze in pain again.
