For me it’s hard to get in the 4th of July spirit and be rah-rah America right now, because I see it as a country that is so full of division and painful conflict.
Different belief systems.
Conversations that quickly become attacks.
Not even a shared understanding of basic facts.
How are we going to come to a common ground?
Will there ever be a way to find peace and compromise?
How are people going to feel taken care of?

Exciting: Beginnings And 100% Juice!
It’s the beginning of a new chapter! That phrase keeps coming to me, ever since that full moon a week or so ago.
My Summer Writing Group filled my goal of 8 people and I even added an additional person to make it 9.
It feels so good to hit that benchmark.

Phew, I’m hot today–I just got done hanging up four paintings in my new apartment. The past month has been wild, so although I moved mid-April, I still have decorating and unpacking to do.
I could go into detail about what all happened, but I’ll just highlight that last week I successfully filled all 8 spots in the Summer Writing Group!

Layer 7: Your way or not at all
There’s a hard pill to swallow, that no one really wants to believe:
Which is that you are totally UNIQUE.
Which means that no one else has been you before.
Soooooo… what? What does that mean?
It means other people cannot tell you exactly what you need to do.
They can’t tell you what to do if they don’t know you.
And even then they could get it wrong.
Even me.
Unfortunate, I know.

What Sensitive People can learn from the Amber Heard Trial
So for weeks there have been clips of the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Depp is suing Amber for defamation.
Here’s what I have been pondering as the trial happens:
