Angry America
When did a difference of opinion over political views or any other issue call for the rage and hatred that is sweeping across America? I am not writing a political commentary to take sides. There is plenty of blame to go around. Our political system has slipped into an abyss of mud slinging and lies worse aided by the media, it is hard to know what to believe. Even the entertainment and sporting world has been pulled into spewing angry vicious attacks on fellow Americans.
Understand that there are forces at work that are attempting to unravel the very fiber of America. Many of the issued that are at the heart of this anger are issues that are not understood by either side. The lies and deceit that has been fostered by these forces have caused irrational and violent behavior from many. I believe that their thoughts are being unknowingly manipulated.
The Basis of Evil
Let us never forget what Hitler said;
“Make the lie big, make the lie simple and keep saying it and eventually people will believe it.”
The lies being told today from both parties are so big and constantly held in the faces of every American. How can a true patriot even slightly question the First and Second Amendments of our Constitution. I believe there are many individuals that stand against these critical items of freedom and don’t even know what they mean.
It is understandable that so many are mislead. When you don’t read and think for yourself and base your decisions on forces that you don’t even know. It is easy to be mislead.
America Lost
Where have the times gone that allowed you and I to disagree and still respect each other and be friends. Today’s disagreements are actually breaking up not only friendships but families. In America today my disagreeing with you is cause for you to not only hate me but wish me harm. What in God’s name has happened in this country.
Thought Control
American’s today are being stifled in their ability to express themselves and their thoughts. Look at the horrible situation on American campuses. Speakers are banned, attacked and belittled for having thoughts that differ from the ” thought police”.
” Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns why would we let them have ideas.” Joseph Stalin
The undoing of the foundations of our Constitution. Freedom of speech and gun control are the first step in controlling America.
Use your own intellect and think about the below:
Tips from Stalin, Hitler and Chairman Mao
Expand power base through nepotism and corruption ( The Clinton Dynasty and the Bush Dynasty)
Insight a monopoly on the use of force to curb public protest.
Curry favour by providing public goods efficiently and generously. (Welfare, free cell phones, food stamps)
Get rid of political enemies (Lie, faults allocations whatever it takes)
Create and defeat a common enemy ( You must identify one first)
Create an ideology to justify an exalted position
Accumulate power by manipulating the hearts and minds of your citizens (SnowFlakes, you poor things Sanctuary Cities)
America is being undermined by forces within. We must stand up and defend the freedoms that so many have died for. Angy America will destroy this blessed country.

Why Notre Dame Got Spanked By Miami – “A lesson for life”
On Saturday night at the Hardrock Stadium in Miami Gardens, 
Florida, the underdog Miami Hurricanes put a hurtin on the number 3 ranked Notre Dame, the likes I have not seen since the 2013 National Championship.
Understand that I am a diehard subway alumni of the Irish. I have not missed two games in 30 years. But I will admit the Irish got spanked and deserved it. What is notable to me about the loss, is not that it happened but how and why.
Understand that any team can beat any other team on any given Saturday. Every so often an impalpable feeling will set the stage for something unstoppable to happen. Realize this is not something tangible but it is something you can definitely feel it. You feel it in your heart and in your soul. At 8 o’clock in the morning on Saturday at the the telecast “Game Day Show” you could feel it in the crowd. It was a feeling of inspiration, belief and confidence that the outcome was predetermined.
The game was almost determined as the teams took the field. An explosive electrifying crowd gave the field a sense of predetermination. I have watched Notre Dame take the field to “Hear Come The Irish” hundreds of time. Who took the field Saturday I’m not quite sure.
The Turnover Chain
The difference of enthusiasm between the two teams was obvious from the kickoff. Was Miami more talented, stronger have better athletes? Let’s be honest Notre Dame has one of the finished programs in America with players that can stand toe to toe with any in the NCAA.
Furthermore, Notre Dame was known as one of the best teams regarding ball protection this year. Yet they gave up four turnovers in the 41 – 8 lose. Miami’s defensive coordinator adopted the “Turnover Chain”. A chain designed for the Hurricanes to recognize any player that secures a turnover. The Chain is put around the player’s neck when the player comes off the field. This simple award caused such enthusiasm on the sidelines that the tide of motivation never left the Hurricanes bench.
The Catholic Vs. The Confidence
Pre game hype tied the game to the 1980’s rivalry when the Notre Dame Miami game was billed as the Catholics vs the Convicts. Someone last week painted on a wall “The Catholics Vs The Confidence”. Notre Dame was OUT INSPIRED and OUT ENTHUSED . The Hurricanes BELIEVED they could win and took the actions needed to win. A lesson for life we need to remember in our day to day life.
Inspiration,passion,enthusiasm and belief these are life’s lessons.

Angry Eagle Scout Against Progressive Liberal Left Agenda
What is happening in this country? Is nothing sacred? I am Eagle an Scout and I’m angry. Is there no tradition left in our country that will not be attacked by the Progressive Liberal establishment? Lord Baden-Powell dreamed of an organization for young men focused on the traditions and skills of the frontiersman. Eventually helping thousands of young men to learn values that would carry over into their adult lives.
The Girl Scouts of America is a fine organization that has and can continue to help young women. Just as the Boy Scouts help young men. Apparently this is not enough for some liberal dissident mothers who push their sorry liberal left agenda. Consequently they force their delusional and disconnected beliefs on Americans based on their misguided interpretation of “fairness”. Lord Baden -Powell built a voluntary, non-formal educational charity association for young men. One that was independent, non-political and non-military. Now it will be used as a political football for the left.
The Indisputable Facts
After earning the rank of Eagle I moved into the Explorers. An extension of the Boy Scouts focused on specific activities, like mountain climbing or boating. At that time the Explorer Organization became co-ed and the issues that I witnessed caused me to leave scouting. Issues of sex, romantic and emotional relationships. Just about anything else you can think of when teenage boys and girls are put together for any period of time.
Scouting was based on young men learning to work together and building relationships while dealing with leadership issues within a structured organization.
We Must Take A Stand
When will we, the silent majority stand up and speak out in defense of the moral and traditional values that we believe in. Why do nonconformists try and force their beliefs on all America?

Who is behind this? Has a leaders within the Boy Scout organization bought into the Progressive Liberal Left agenda. The values of scouting are deeper than politics and personal agendas. What is being done goes against the very fabric of Scouting
I am an Angry Eagle Scout and I know I am not alone. Disgusted in the Progressive Liberal Left destroying the moral fabric of American traditions. Traditions that have been part of our history since we won independence from England. They have pushed their liberal agenda, an agenda that goes against most Americans values. Values we want to preserve. Men and women are different physically and emotionally these progressives have tried to make people believe that there is not.
Trying not to blog about issues that are political in nature this has pushed me to my limits. I am proud to be an Eagle Scout and the foundation and traditions that are the basis of the organization. I hope is they will not take this away from America.

Success Development
Have you ever wondered what makes one individual successful and another not? What is the difference between the homeless individual and the business executive? Is it luck? Education? Connections? Those issues all certainly could have a bearing on someones success.
I feel there are twenty other Success Development keys that pave the way for your life. Developmental keys that can help transform all of us into the person we strive to be.
The first two steps are acknowledge fear and overcome it:
Acknowledging Fea r – We all have a certain amount of fear buried inside of us. Some wear their fear on their sleeve it is easy for others to see and that person realizes that fear exist within themselves . Others suppress their fears deep down inside themselves and attempt to bury it. The problem with this second group is that what they carry around within themselves is what they ultimately show the world. Fears will always manifest its self somewhere in our lives. We cannot defeat what we will not acknowledge exists.
Over Coming Fear – This can be difficult but the first big step is acknowledging it and facing it. Paul Assainte, head squash coach at Trinity College and winner of 11 National Championships Has a great book ” Run to the Roar”. The theory is that in Africa when lions want to feed on gazelles that eat in the open fields, they are difficult to catch in.for some reason these older female lions have ferocious roars. Now, for some reason older female lions have a ferocious roar. So the lions take the old female lion that cannot hunt any longer and they place the female on one side of the field and the hunters gather on the other side. The female roars and the gazelles run in the opposite direction of the roar were the killers are waiting. If the gazelles had ran towards the roar they would of been safe but by running way they ended up being supper. We have to run toward are fears once we acknowledge them, confront them head on and we can defeat them.
The next three are attitude
3. Finding Inspiration – It can be difficult for some! Understanding the difference between inspiration and motivation is important. Motivation is making yourself do something you don’t want to do like mowing the lawn. Inspiration is when you jump out of bed before the alarm goes off because you are so excited about what the day can bring. Inspiration is all around use in music, books, nature and your dreams. You just need to find it.
4. Staying Inspired – Getting inspired is one thing staying inspired is another. When your dream is big enough you can’t help but stay inspired.
5. Developing a winning attitude -Attitude is everything in life. It is easy to have a great attitude when things are going great it’s when we are faced with challenges that matter. I believe you have to work at developing a winning attitude and it starts when you put your feet on the floor in the morning. What do you tell yourself? What do you say throughout the day in those little self talks we all have with ourselves.

Solving Our Immigration Problem
I have personally struggled with the issue of Solving Our Immigration Problem. What do we do regarding the illegal immigration problem and the “WALL”. There is a humane and sympathetic side to me that feels for these 11 million souls. But there is a practical side that cares deeply about America and fairness to those who have come to this country legally.
My Grandfather came here from Italy through Ellis Island as did my Mother in law who was an immigrant from Hungry during WWII. One of the proudest days of her life was when she became an American citizen.
What is the answer?
Again I am torn between the moral and the practical. But there is a solution that I believe makes since. I learned about it from a video produced by Pager University and presented by Pulitzer Prize winner Charles Krauthamer.
There are four basic step involved:
First: Build The Wall. We must stop the flow of illegal immigrants into our country in order to fix the problem. As Charles states a WALL to keep people in is called a prison a WALL to keep people out is called sovereignty.
Second: Develop an E-Verification system that will allow individuals that are here illegally towork.
Third: Develop a visa tracking system. 40% off illegals are he on visa overstays.
Lastly: Deport anyone with a criminal record that is illegal. Then legalize the 11 million that are left. Allow them to stay but we can not give them citizenship.

Understand this is a very serious issue to our future. Please don’t take a position because it seems to be the cool thing to do. Weigh the facts and make an informed decision. America’s future is at stake!

Save America
I’m sick and tired! This is not a political, this is an article expressing my feeling about what should be done to Save America. This should be easy to understand for anyone. Republicans, Democrats and Independents are driving our great country into the ground over their own self interests.
Politicians have allowed their own special interest and desire to build a life long career of ” bathing in the public troth”. Imagine someone in the Congress twenty five or thirty years. You cannot tell me there are not self serving interests involved, when they have to wheel someone into the hall to cast a vote because they are to old to walk in.
In a CBS news report by Stephanie Condon in March of 2012 stated that there were 245 Millionaires in Congress. 179 in the House and 66 in the Senate. No wonder someone would spend $10 Million dollars to get a job paying $180,000.
Four Simple Steps to Save America
Term Limits – Our founding fathers would go to Philadelphia or Washington spend what time was needed in service of our country then return to their farms to plow the fields. The King of England asked Benjamin Franklin what General Washington would do now that the war had been won by the Colonials. Franklin’s answer; ” Go home and farm” the king replied in amazement; “If he does he is the greatest man in the world.” We need people like Washington to Save America.
Medical Tort Reform – Science particularly medicine is not a perfect profession, mistakes happen. Until they put a limit on the amount that can be awarded in medical malpractice suits health care will continue to spin out of control. And who is getting rich?The lawyers who eventually head to Washington to get their share. Every time I turn the TV on there is someone saying did you have this surgery or take this drug ? Call Do We Cheat’m And How” attorneys at law. To Save America this must stop.
Cost Control on Medicine – There are medicines badly needed by the public that cost thousands of dollars for a 30 day supply. People are dying while the Lobbyist, Pharmaceutical Company’s and politicians are making fortunes.
Save America – NO MORE PORK – There needs to be legislation that forces every bill that will cost Americans money be voted on with no PORK attached.
We can Save America
These four issues could be easily put into action, but never will! Why? Because we have the fox watching the hen house. Why would a politician vote in something that would cost him or her their careers.
We are not naive, every American Republican, Democrat or Independent needs to face the facts. We are in trouble as a country and sending the same people to Washington will not Save America. Only action will with our votes!

Staying Married Forty Years
Marriage just like life, can be challenging. That is probably why 50 % of all marriages end in divorce according to The American Psychological Association.
This past May my lovely wife and I have been married 40 years. I find it sad that so many people when they hear this say” That doesn’t happen to often anymore.” We made it so I guess that gives me some right to give advice on the subject.
A wedding in America is estimated to crost around $26,000. Sometimes people put more time into making sure the wedding is perfect instead of making sure the love is perfect. But that is just me.
Five Tips For Staying Married Forty Years
No matter how in love you are and even when you have found your true soul mate, it will not be all hearts and rainbows. I believe you have to go into a marriage knowing there will be ups and downs. It is easy to be in love when everything is great the true test comes when the times are rough.
Be prepared to forgive. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes if you cannot forgive the little things forty years can be like a prison sentence. Now, I will say there are some actions that are unforgivable and that’s all I will say on that.
Trust in your partner is critical, if you can’t trust your spouse why in the world would you have ever said “I do”. Also it is important to not make assumptions on what your husband or wife is thinking. Talk things out.
The other night I was watching a movie and a women had killed her husband and when asked why she did such a thing she answered “I couldn’t stand looking at him any more.” I told my wife and she laughed, I didn’t think it was that funny.
Grow together, we all grow and change as we travel through life. Be prepared for your partner to change over time and remember change is good. Always try and remember the person you fell in love with and that your partner is still the same person. Just evolved.
A successful marriage takes work remember this the next time you get tired of looking at your partner and start looking for a gun or a lawyer.

Don’t Quit
It’s funny how things seem to come around in life. When I was in high school trying to become a wrestler I came across this poem. It so touched me that I found a piece of poster board and wrote it out in sloppy hand writing and hung it on my bedroom wall. I read this poem everyday during my high school years but some how lost track of the poem and it’s incredible message. This week (45 years later) I stumbled across it looking for an inspirational message for my team. I wanted to share it with you.

Rotten Eggs-Negative People
Ever hear the term he’s a “good egg”? Thank fully the world is full of “good eggs”. But there are to many Rotten Eggs Negative People, people that live lives of despair and helpfulness.
But what about the “bad eggs” the “rotten eggs”? Individuals that seem to have one goal, to make your life miserable. These poor souls are lost and confused, in my opinion. They believe that the world is bad, people are bad and opportunity does not exist in the world today. The problem with “rotten eggs” is they just don’t keep to themselves they seem hell bent on stinking up your life.
They all have an opinion and it is always negative. You’re going to fail, that will never work. They are not stratified with being miserable on their own they want to drag you into their life of despair.
Here are five ways to protect yourself from rotten eggs;
Learn to identify these individuals by site or “smell”. You can always see them for what they are. They will befriend you and try to draw you into their world of doom and gloom. If you see one Run Like Hell!
Try not to engage in conversations with these people. Don’t be rude just be mindful that you could be very happy in your job and fifteen minutes with one of these people and you’re looking in the want ads. Just Run Like Hell.
There are many people out there that have lives full of drama, in fact to be honest their lives are “train wrecks”. We all need to be Good Samaritans but some people you just can’t help. Not until they are willing to help themselves. The best thing to do sometimes when you meet these individuals is Run Like Hell.
The best thing you and I can do is to be a beckon of light and hope for others. That does not mean that we have to get dragged into their lives. Remember one “rotten egg” can spoil the whole dozen.

Seven Success Keys
I have always dreamed big about my life, even during the tough times. There are seven success keys that carried me through the hard times. One book has had a large impact on me and I would like to share a chapter from this book with my thoughts on it.
The book is Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins and the chapter is ” The Seven Lies of Success”
Tony Robbins calls these seven concepts lies because if you want to believe they have no bearing on your success than, to you, they are lies. But to those of us who choose to believe them, your live can be changed forever.
Keys To Success:
Number On e – Everything happens for a reason and a purpose and it serves us.
I was born with a congenital hip, this caused me to walk with sever limp until I was 45 years old at which time I had my first hip replacement( I would have 24 major surgeries in my life). As a child I went through what you can imagine any child in the 1950′s might go through, I was picked on and called names; I’m not telling you this so you can feel sorry for me. You don’t need to, I live an incredible life. I tell you this for this reason, I believe that how I was born was one of the greatest blessings in my life it help me to become the person that I am today. It helped me to develop my personality, my work ethic and my attitude.
Everything happens for a reason and a purpose and it serves us.
Number Two – There is no such thing as failure.
We don’t fail at things in life; we simply decide that whatever we are trying to do is not worth the time and hardships we must go through to get it. If you think about your life you probably have everything you ever really wanted in life, the things you don’t have you, most likely, decided it wasn’t worth what you had to go through to get or you are still working on it.
There is no such thing as failure.
Number Three – Whatever happens take responsibility.
The day that we accept responsibility for the things that happen in our lives is the day we become free. We certainly can’t control everything that happens to us but we can control how we act and feel about those things.
Whatever happens take responsibility.
Number Four – It’s not necessary to understand everything to be able to use everything.
There are so many things that you could learn in any business. Different markets, products, competition, sales techniques and the list goes on and on. If we try to become an expert on every possible option that is out there we will never do anything.
It’s not necessary to understand everything to be able to use everything.
Number Five – People are your greatest resource.
We are in the people business do you truly care about people and I mean all people or do you only care about those that you can make money on. I believe if we our truly in the people business we need to care about all people. Certainly our clients but also the person who waits on us at the restaurant or serves us the coffee at the coffee shop.
People are your greatest resource.
Number Six – Work is play.
Mark Twain said, ” to make your vocation your vacation is success”. Love what you do if not look for your passion and follow it.
Work is play.
Number Seven – There’s no abiding success without commitment.
We are committed to something or we are committed to nothing. Absolute commitment can give use the passion to never give up.
