Today I want to show you a mixed media Painting The Blue Jar I created with collage, paint and pens and the awesome stencils petit pot, keyhole splatter and je taime. Of course I also have a video tutorial for you how to create this. Do you remember the little cat from my last video? Here she is. But I couldn't make up my mind to adhere her. What do you think? Does it fit her into this painting?

Artist Gang Tuesday...
Hello there lovely artists. Welcome to another week of Artist Gang inspiration. I am Tanyalee and I come to you from Hobart in Australia where the sun is shining and summer is in full swing. Today I am sharing with you a project that is a bit different to what you might be used to here. I am stencilling and painting onto fabric, and then stitching on top of that to add highlights. The resulting fabric sample can then be made into whatever object takes your fancy, but I made a pencil pouch an...

Find Out Fridays - Tonja Sell
I love working in a way that allows me to make creative decisions as I go.

I allow myself freedom to explore, and the piece grows from there. I usually start either with an abstract under-painting, or with a loose...

Curator Tips | Stephanie Schütze
Hi There, it’s Stephanie here today with another Tips & Technique video tutorial for a layered wax effect without encaustic.
Today I want to show the second part of the possibility to add a wax effect to your paintings, drawings and projects, without using encaustic wax. This is about a layering technique. You can create this effect with the Ink Brush Pens from Pentel, other Pens and the Girlie Grunge Art Medium (a decoupage adhesive). Next time I will come up with stencilart by using great...

What a fun & creative project to be part of! I got out of my comfort zone creating with new products, and in the creation of my very first cinematic production! :)
Thanks so much for the invite, Donna!
