meet Anastasia...

i am enamored by faces and i love learning how to draw and incorporate them more into my work.

Anastatia is part of the "Empowered Women" line. they have attitude, they have style and of course most have glasses!!

so many of you are right along with me drawing faces...proportion's, shadows, skin tones, etc. it is a skill that takes practice. we designed the stamps so that practicing skills like shading and tones can be repeated, replicated and improved upon over and over again.

so excited!

i am so excited to have mindy lacefield teaching in the STUDIO next week. she is such an incredible spirit a master of layering colors and textures and pulling her heart right through the canvas. i am so excited to learn from her.

getting ready for my Painting weekend!

we are gearing up at the studio for our 10 ladies attending our "Paint like an Artist" weekend at the STUDIO.

we will each paint two 36 x 36" canvases and

be covered in paints and mediums by the end of day one, let alone day 4!!

the places are set.

and no self respecting artist should be without their own turquoise monogrammed barret!

the paints are loaded onto the carts in the center of the room for easy access at a colorful moments need!

and i made a little gifty for each student (ok Pay...
