The Incubus Saga - Book 1: Incubus OUT JULY 1, 2013
And we have an official release date for Incubus! I have also decided that the trilogy will be called The Incubus Saga, the first book being Incubus, second Changeling, third Sidhe. I'm very excited to start kicking up my promotion.

Sasha Kelly w/Tattoos Photo Manip!
This is one of my favorite photo manipulations of Sasha of all time, by the lovely Luna. This is Chace Crawford, who has always been my choice for Sasha's actor, though he's not quite tall enough. After seeing "What to Expect When You're Expecting" yeah...that was basically Sasha's personality he was pulling off there, and it was magical.
I'd love to know if you have your own ideas of who should play Sasha, or the other characters. I had Tyler Hoechlin for Nathan initially, but have since very much changed my mind. I just don't know who I'd like instead...

The Incubus Saga Fanart - Sasha and Nathan Slow Dancing
I can't believe this commission is almost 6 years old, back in the early stages of Incubus, before I was ready to share the original story with the the world.
This is a slightly tweaked version of the fanart from Fiouri who I commissioned at y!gallery in 2009. I'd link directly to the site for you, but it's NSFW. :-) Google if you dare.
I wanted to capture when Nathan and Sasha are slow dancing late at night in a missing/alluded to scene, and I think this is just about perfect. And hey, one of the few times I've gotten Sasha's wing tattoos in a picture. Very cool design choice. I always have a hard time describing exactly how they should look, and love seeing different interpretations.
I think getting fanart of my characters and stories is one of the most exciting things. It's actually a tradition for me to get some sort of commission whenever I go to large enough conventions that they have an artist alley, like at the upcoming Wizard World Minneapolis.
Last year I got an amazing picture of me cosplaying as Rogue from X-Men, but as The Incubus Saga is drawing to a close, I think I'll have to think of a new commission for the boys...

Life as a Teenage Vampire - Cover Art!
I wanted something truly special for the cover to this story, and while I have a great cover at BWN right now for the series run, the BWN Creative Director helped get me in contact with one of my favorite artists at DeviantArt, Saga. And what a joy to work with. So talented and easy to coordinate with to get just what I wanted, and the final product is just remarkable.
The serialized version of this story is on chapter 10 this week, updated Thursdays, and I am so excited for it to get into season 2 in May, and eventually 3, which is the final season, and then to share the finished book with you. Thank you all who are following this story!
