Merry Christmas!

I knew today would start out well when my kids slept in past 7 a.m. There hadn't been any snow here the day before, but sometime over the night a nice blanket of white dropped down to cover the neighborhood as well.

The kids were all excited to see their new gifts, and to give gifts to each other. I was excited about new sweat pants and a sweatshirt. One might say expectations lower as you grow older, but honestly- these are the most comfy lounging clothes. Add in a cup of cocoa and a bunch of happy kids playing together at my feet and it makes for the perfect Christmas.

I hope all of you are surrounded by loved ones. I wish for you to have a Merry Christmas, and a very happy, blessed, New Year!

The Lost City of Alfarin is out today!

Just putting up a quick post to say that the Lost City of Alfarin is officially out on Kindle today. It has debuted in the top 100 in the U.K. market in several categories, and is close to the top 100 in the U.S. market as well.

The Dragon's Champion series now available as audio books!

Today the sixth and final book in the Dragon's Champion series comes out on Audio book, thus making the entire series available in that format. It has been a long time in the works, but I am happy to finally be able to provide this version, as it is fun to listen to!

Also, just as a teaser, The Sorceress of Aspenwood series is also going to be made into an audio book set.

Cover reveal for The Lost City of Alfarin

I am very excited about this particular novel. Normally, I write on my own, and I have shied away from collaborative projects. However, I have had a lot of fun over the last several months working on this project. Keaton James brings a lot to the table, and I am certain that the Lost City of Alfarin will be as fun for you to read as it was for me. I also think the artist, Ryan Richmond, did a fantastic job on the cover.

I loved working with Keaton on this project because it was a lot of fun to bounce ideas off of each other and see something take shape that neither of us saw in the beginning. This story had originally been set to take place on Terramyr, but took a very, very different turn early on and it became apparent that it needed to be on its own world. It is now something unique and very fun.

As he does so, he will discover secrets that even the Elder Council couldn't have foreseen.
