Oh, What a Knight!

Thank you to all who attended the To Tempt a Knight launch party last night. The Seattle Knights were there in all their chainmail glory and did a fabulous job entertaining everyone.

[image error]The knights played different characters from To Tempt a Knight as they battled.  The French villains wore red.  The Templars wore red crosses on their chests. As you can see, heraldry and military uniforms were very important on the battlefield to help identify who was who and keep you from hurting your friends.

The Seattle Knights Are Coming!

Are you as infatuated with men in chain mail and armor as much as I am? For me, it's the Medieval equivalent of a man in a tuxedo. A knight is the whole package–a dedicated warrior and a gentleman all wrapped up in steel. The very sight of all that chain mail makes my heart beat a little faster.

Knight are the stuff of legends, and always have been in my reading life. Many of my favorite books have one thing in common–a knight.

Some of my favorite classics include Geoffrey Chaucer's The Knight's T
