Another Giveaway Coming!

Starting Saturday September 25, 2021, you will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win one of 100--Yes 100!--eBook copies of MURDER ON THE PRECIPICE (An Elizabeth Pennington Mystery--Book One). Here's the back cover blurb:

When murder checks in, don’t expect mints on your pillow….

After a former all-girls school gets transformed into a cozy, family inn on the rugged coast of Maine, the unsolved case of a student's disappearance years earlier is all but forgotten—until a young female guest goes missing, which rocks the popular seaside destination.

Did the girl ignore warnings to stay away from the cliff walk after the fog rolls in at night? Or is the property's dark history repeating itself?

Manhattan interior designer Elizabeth Pennington puts the big city in her rearview mirror and returns to the inn, her childhood home where, in a tragic twist of fate, she lost her parents at a tender age.

Faced with her grandmother’s failing health strained by the pressures of running the family business, Elizabeth navigates treacherous waters to save the inn from a killer in their midst. But in her search for the girl as a deadly hurricane barrels up the coast, she uncovers details that question everything she thought she knew about herself, her family and her past.
-----------------
If gruesome crime scenes are NOT for you, and you'd rather read stories set in colorful locales, written with compelling plotlines and intriguing characters you want to hang out with, then you'll love the Elizabeth Pennington Mystery Series.

Awarded TOP HONORS (Gold) in the Human Relations Indie Book Awards for Contemporary Realistic Fiction.

Watch for the announcement on 9/25/21! Good luck!

Did Someone Say Ghost?

Haunted New England Lighthouses

Ghosts and hauntings have always been a fascination for me. I’ve been reading about them and listening to stories since I was an impressionable child, but it wasn’t until I was alone in my grandmother’s creaky, old house as a teenager that I got to witness a paranormal encounter firsthand. To be honest, my experience scared me half to death, and I did my best to block it from happening again.

It took me a few years to get over my initial scare, but event...

What’s Up With Olivia Benning

After bearing witness to Olivia Benning’s harrowing experiences in THE EMPTY CHAIR: Murder in the Caribbean, I was anxious to catch up with her before she returns to the Virgin Islands to pick up the pieces in OVER THE EDGE: Murder Returns to the Caribbean (to be released 11/10/20). In spite of all of her packing and preparations to take care of before she can go wheels-up on a southbound 737 and leave Boston behind, Olivia was generous to take a few minutes and sit down with me. Here is our cha...

Pennington Point Inn to Reopen?

ELIZABETH PENNINGTON FROM THE PRECIPICE MYSTERY SERIES:

Another peak into Elizabeth’s diary as she shares her frustration, unexpected loss, and glimmer of hope during the Covid19 Pandemic.

Technically, the inn is open for guests, but we don’t have any yet—not that I thought people would come flooding through the doors now that Phase 2 permits us to be open. I just thought we’d have a few to welcome back. But I guess I shouldn’t wonder.
