All you seventy year olds who fear you've left it too late to write your book, take heart from Peter Whitehead. Peter, who is 99, yes, truly 99, decided to write his memoirs. He worked with Australian thriller writer, Tony Park, so he could 'write it right' and the book is out. As Peter has been an explorer, adventurer and survivor of hair raising exploits in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand the book is quite a read.

SEPTEMBER'S FREE BOOKS

SPRING at last. Bulbs shouting their colours to cheer us after a dull grey winter. There's an enormous range of free books this month.

I expect you readers know full well that reviews help a reader choose a book. The reviews don't need to be long or complicated. A simple: 'I liked/enjoyed/recommend this book' is enough to tell other readers that the book is worth reading. It's a quick and simple thing to do to help the author of a book you've enjoyed.
