The Genius Sessions & Interviews #HelloGenius Tour
Hello Genius,
You’ve heard me talk about it for a while now…
Genius.
The body of my work – whether it’s coaching, writing, or design – focuses on the different aspects of optimising and expressing our Genius.
But… what is Genius?
Well, I’m working on a new book about this. It will reference some historical and modern Geniuses, debunk some myths, and help you shed light on your Genius through a series of tools and references. All neatly packed into one fancy book.

Taking Care of Genius, No Matter What
This was written as a guest post for KindOverMatter.com, a beautiful site for the creative, independent, entrepreneurial community. KOM’s content is focused on touching the world with kindness, inspiration, gentleness, and love. I’m all for that!
I wrote about taking care of Genius, no matter what, because that is what I have found to empower me in everything I create through business, relationships, and art.
Please enjoy,
Karin

Why It’s Time to Say Goodbye to “Hard” Work
I don’t relate to the idea of “hard work”. This idea stems from a particular belief around how we integrate work and play in our lives.

Do You Have a Plan A?
How many times have you heard someone say, “Well if Plan A doesn’t work out, I’ve got Plan B. And if that doesn’t work out, I’ve got the rest of the alphabet.” At which point I like to ask which alphabet they’re referring to (English? Cyrillic? Spanish?), and if they can say “Plan Ñ.”
More importantly, is this how you think?
I’ve never had a Plan B. My life is a constant evolution of my Plan A, with variations that match where I am personally and professionally at each stage of my life. When yo...

How does your business really thrive?
It’s simple… nurture your relationships, Genius.
My web design business took off in 2003 based on the relationships I’d built working a regular 9-5 job in an SEO company. Those clients wanted ME to continue doing the work for them, not somebody else.
In 2012, I reached out to my network to announce that I was writing my first book – something I’d always wanted to do, procrastinated on very well, and finally gave myself permission to make it happen.
