Top Ten Favorite Porcelain Dragons in My Collection




#1 will always be this Lladro dragon created for the Year of the Dragon. I got this while I was pregnant with my son. It seemed so very appropriate that he was born in the year of the dragon since my husband and I love dragons so much.








The rest are in no particular order:







Furza is an Enchantica carrier dragon. This was the first piece I ever had signed by the artist. I love the seahorse look to his body and head.














Pia'Sharn was the first big price my husband and I bought together as a newly married couple.













This Rattajack is among one of the first gifts I gave my husband back when we were dating.












These are actually two pieces, Kirrock and Snowhawk. We wanted these for about four years but they were way out of our price range. Then I happened upon an online site going out of business and got them 1/2 off. The look on my husband's face when I surprised him with these was priceless.












This Ocean Dragon was the first piece I had signed at an Enchantica convention. You can't see it in the picture well, but the colors and detail on this piece are gorgeous.














Glostomrog is a classic dragon tearing apart an unfortunante castle. What's not to love? This one is also signed by the artist.















Leviathan definitely lives up to his name. I love the waves and the partially destroyed ship. I gave this to my husband as a housewarming gift when we bought our first house.













Xedrethor is huge-- over a foot long from wing to tail. The wings are iridescent. He's another one that was way out of my price range until I found him on ebay for a fraction of the cost.

When we reach the deck, everyone stops to stare at me. Trying to ignore the blatant curiosity, I follow Hanna down the aft stairs to the brig. Zane and Taranis occupy cells across from each other. They're both sitting on the floor glaring daggers at each other. Hanna hands the key to me and slips away. Inching closer, I'm careful to remain out of reach of the two prisoners. As soon as they see me, both men jump up and start talking over each other. "Ashlyn! How are you feeling, Love?" Zane asks.

"Ashlyn, my fiery angel, you are a ray of sunshine in this dank prison!" Taranis says.
"I'm gonna let you both out, if, and only if, you promise to behave," I threaten. Both men nod their agreement. "That means no fighting. It also means we never, and I mean never, speak of what happened last night." When I get no argument, I free Zane first and then Taranis.
"Do you even know what happened last night?" Zane asks, taking me into his arms. I stand rigid in his embrace, not sure if I'm ready to forgive him quite yet.
"Only what Hanna told me," I snap at him.
"I saved your virtue from this raving lunatic," Taranis says, pointing at Zane.
"Then you decided to take it for yourself!" Zane yells back at him.
"Did you not hear me?" I shout. Pulling myself from Zane's embrace, I back up and glare at both men. "No speaking of last night. Period. End of discussion."
"Yes, Love," Zane replies.
"Yes, virtuous virgin," Taranis replies.
"Taranis!" I release a menacing growl, and wince when my right eye starts to tic. "Yes?" he asks, eyes full of mock innocence.
"Run," Zane says.
Taranis listens to Zane's advice and takes off up the stairs to the deck with me hot on his heels.

Tour Schedule Author Josi S. Kilpack Josi S. Kilpack hated to read until her mother handed her a copy of The Witch of Blackbird Pond when she was 13. From that day forward, she read everything she could get her hands on and accredits her writing “education” to the many novels she has “studied” since then. She began writing her first novel in 1998 and never stopped. Her novel, Sheep’s Clothing won the Whitney Award 2007 for Mystery/Suspense. Lemon Tart, the first book in the Sadie Hoffmiller Culinary Mystery series was a finalist in 2009. Josi currently lives in Willard Utah with her husband, children and super-cute cat.

A year ago Justina Pelletier was leading an active, normal life, even ice skating, while receiving Tx for her condition at Tufts Medical Center. Then, Massachusetts DFC and Boston Children's Hospital (Harvard) forcibly took custody of her, discontinued her treatment, and admitted her for psychiatric "care" under an emergency court order with gag restrictions.





Her family is stuck in the middle of a battle between medical centers. Justina's health is failing.  She is now confined to a wheelchair and living in isolation in a psych ward. She sees her mother one hour a week, with armed guards present.
She misses her family, her school, her pets, and her life. She is failing, and all alone. She has lost a year of her childhood she will never get back.
