Man in Window With the Big Black Eyes

Sudbury, Ontario, Canada - 1997-12-30: In 1998, I had an experience living in Sudbury, Ontario. In a basement suite we rented there was a red orb in the bushes, I thought nothing of it. Then a day or 2 later I was in my living room. The curtains were open about 4" wide when I was frozen with fear. There was a grey alien starring in at me. The fear was so intense I couldn't move or speak. I can't tell you how long the stare was but my guess is was 1-2 mins. I couldn't break the visual contact until it instantly disappeared. I told my partner what had happened and he prayed with me. The next day my daughter came out of her room and said "I don't like the man in window with the big black eyes." But no one was there. Not long after that a soccer ball size light shot past the window at an incredible speed.

The next day weird paranormal things started to happen. We had a TV that was not plugged in and it turned on on its own. The screen was all static and it closed up into a point of light. The light flashed for several seconds. This incident has profoundly affected me. I still don't want to talk to anyone about it. I'm scared of the dark and can't sleep well a lot of nights. I've had other UFO sightings but none that compare to what I seen that night. - MUFON

Attacked by UFO Projectiles

Neoga, IL - 2017-11-16: It was Nov 17, 2017, approximately 3pm. I was driving home on the interstate (I-57) headed north. I had been capturing a lot of UFOs on camera outside of Effingham, Illinois where I work. It got to the point that it seemed I could get at least 2 or 3 pics a week by just randomly taking photographs of the sky. They were either triangle, rectangle or shaped like a bottle of Penzoil. In this day I felt I was being watched, so I decided to film my rear view mirror on the driver's side. I noticed immediately an object by the sun, lower its altitude and then go back up. It reminded me of a large insect/robot. It stayed with me flying up over bridges as I went under them and dodging other vehicles. At one point it had to maneuver around trees on the side of the road. That is when I captured the best footage of it. It had a half a ball of light on the bottom and smaller ones with it. I thought it shot at me and could hear it hit my vehicle. At one point a small one or a projectile nearly hit a school bus. I became angered at one point and said "do you know who I am??" That is when a orb shot towards them. Either from me or from somewhere else. I lost track of it as I got into town. The entire event lasted approximately 15 minutes. During the event, I felt attacked and invaded. After a few months I feel almost as if it was a test. I feel like that because I have many photos and another video of black objects going into a partial rainbow. I had 3 cameras running that day. 1 was in sepia mode and captured them and an orb come out of a field. The 2 cameras without sepia captured only the rainbow. - MUFON

Hundreds of Birds Fall From Sky

DRAPER, Utah – More than 200 birds fell from the sky onto a Draper street Monday, leading residents to wonder what caused this mass avian accident.

“It’s one of the rarest things I’ve ever heard of,” said Sergeant Chad Carpenter with the Draper City Police Department.

“As I was driving, these birds were just falling out of the sky,” said Draper resident, Lacey Brown as she was driving down the street on 300 East in Draper.

“They were all on the ground right around here and on the roadway,” Brown said, “They were just falling out of the sky like leaves,” she added.

My Slenderman Encounter

Zack in Texas called in to tell of his 'Slenderman' encounter:

“I got a story from many years ago. I was a kid. I was in middle school when this happened. There's a big patch of woods behind my house. I knew every inch of this place. I was out there all the time. One evening, something went down. I was out there as I usually was but something kind of threw me off that day. I was looking around and I saw, off a ways in the woods, there was this figure out there. It was impossibly tall, dark figure. Basically featureless. I didn't realize until many years later that it was actually Slenderman that I had seen that day. Seeing him, standing there staring at him for a few seconds, something just told me to run. And I was at the far end. It's about a 4 mile long patch of woods. I can make to the other side in about 7 minutes. And no matter how fast I ran, every time I looked back, he was in the same spot behind me, like same distance. It wasn't until I made it to the other side. I was about halfway down the bayou that was there, I turned around and he was just standing there, stopped. He wouldn't go any further. To this day, that's about the most shaken I've ever been. Ever since I went out there I never saw him again. But that one time being out there, it was just the weirdest thing I've ever experienced. It was pretty spooky. And years later, actually, I started hearing about the Slenderman stuff on the internet and I stared putting two and two together. It was like, Oh, man, I saw this guy when I was, like, 12. That's pretty freaky stuff.”

“So basically I was laying in bed and I distinctly remember being awake because I could hear noises in the house. So I think I was more like half awake/half asleep. Kinda the state you're in when you have sleep paralysis. Stuff like that but the thing is, I wasn't experiencing sleep paralysis because I could move around in bed. But I was still very out of it because I was so exhausted. So basically I was laying there. My eyes were closed obviously and then, all of a sudden, in my head, I got the most clear, extremely vivid image of me standing in the window of the house I was at. And I was standing facing the window. It was on the second floor of the room that I was in and I was looking out of the window. And the room that I was in, the window faces the backyard. The backyard isn't anything special. It has some trees surrounding the property so you can't see into the neighbor’s yard. It's pretty tall trees and then pretty much an empty yard and a little deck below that you can't really see just because it's like straight down, right. And so I was standing there and I was half experiencing it and half seeing myself experience it. And I was looking out this window and at the very end of the property there was... It wasn't that far away. I saw a really tall man wearing what looked like a black suit with no facial features, long limbs. And it was weird because it was like a really really pale face, no features, but I could tell it was looking at me and I was standing there like frozen. Absolutely terrified. Like, who is this? What does he want? Why the strange face? All these things were going through my head but at the same time it was almost like standing in the room watching myself watch him but I could still see him. It was very bizarre. And that whole thing felt like it stretched out for a long time because I was so scared and obviously things feel a lot more drawn out when you are freaked out.

All of a sudden, it ended and I was jerked back into my body. And this is the freakiest part. This is why I'm categorizing this as paranormal experience because I was so freaked out. I opened my eyes and I went to sit up. I started sitting up in bed and as soon as I was up right, in real life, this isn't a dream. This isn't a vision anymore. In real life, I was sitting on my bed. All the lights were off in the room. There was a little moonlight coming through the window which was on the right hand side of the bed on the wall. My eyes were open and I looked and, right beside my bed, there was a very very tall man standing in my room right beside my bed. It looked like he was wearing a suit. He had long arms, long legs and no hood or anything like that. It was just his face... but there was no face. It was like, no eyes, no nothing. And he was like this far away from me, right? (holds up hands indicating about 7 or 8 inches) Like so so close to my bed and I kinda like jerked because I was so freaked out. I went to like jump out of bed and run to hit the light and basically the bed is like... it's pretty small... I mean there's no bed frame or anything that would stop me from just diving off the bed. So my bed was here and he was standing to the right of me in the bed. And so I saw him and freaked out, then looked away and then went to run to the light switch and as soon as I got out of bed and I glanced behind me as I moved towards the light switch...there was nobody there. It was like, Okay, Brie, are you seeing things? Are you... what's going on? And then I turned the light on for a second, took a moment to calm down because I was obviously like, what's going on? And then it was like, what the hell did I just see?”

“I was stationed in Germany over 4 years in 2005 with my now ex-wife. We spent the night in the turret of a castle ruin. Though the castle itself was quiet and calm, there was a large bonfire being held in the adjacent castle ruin. I awoke and went down to the courtyard and outside the walls of the ruins to relieve myself. I was quite startled to see a figure very similar to Spring-Heeled Jack with its back to me, standing on the wall along the path leading down into the ruins. Without turning around or acknowledging my presence, it raised its left arm, pointing almost straight up to the sky. I blinked and it was gone. This thing cast no shadow and on the other side of the wall was a cliff. What I remember most is the smell of rancid leather. Like an old saddle that's been cleaned and put up after being ridden hard on a sweaty horse.”

White Wings on Flying Being

Nederland, TX - 2018-01-23: My sighting is actually multiple sightings. I live near an airport so planes are a given. But what I can only describe as huge "winged" and sometimes "orb" shaped entities are always flying and hovering over my neighborhood! 'There is something out there'

Los Angeles, CA - 2001-10-20: So this is how it all started for me. I was 7 years old in my bedroom at night watching Southpark @9pm. I was sitting on my bedroom floor with my back up against my bed. Just as the intro started to play I heard this hum that got louder and louder. I noticed that a blinding white light was coming from the cracks of my door. All of a sudden the door slowly opened and the light filled my room. It was the brightest light I've ever seen. It blinded me. For some reason I remember thinking it was my mother so I reached up to put my hand up to grab her but my arm felt like it was a million pounds and I collapsed. I never saw an entity (this time) but then I totally blacked out.

Next thing I know I'm right back where I was when I was watching TV only I remember thinking I should've been on the ground slumped over because I collapsed. But I was back in place where I was before I saw the light. I looked up at my train clock and it was 230am. I remember it didn't feel like 5hrs had passed, it felt like it had been seconds since I saw the light and heard that hum. Looked down at both arms and they were covered in bruises and scratch marks on my forearms. I felt exhausted. Like there's no way I had just been asleep. I felt like I had run a marathon.

After that night I had hundreds of experiences similar to this. Sleep paralysis as well but those experiences were vastly different from the abduction-esque phenomena. It all came to an abrupt stop when I was 13. That's a whole different story in and of itself. I've always been troubled by this. I want to know what happened that night. To all who have open minds know that there is something out there. What it is exactly I don't know. But it's something real. Rest assured. - MUFON

Missing Time After Triangular UFO Encounter

Manchester, UK - 1985-07-16: It was a pleasant summer evening, I was with my mother as we had been to visit a friend of hers she met in hospital. We stayed a while and then at around 9pm we caught the bus to go home. It was a short walk, maybe half a mile, from the bus stop to our home and this is when we first saw the object. A perfect triangle, all white and lit, just sitting there in the sky above some fields at the back of our home. We spotted it and chatted about it as we walked, and when we got into the house we immediately went to the back door with a view directly over the fields to continue watching/looking. I should think that this was just after 9.30pm. aAs far as we are aware, we stood looking at it, talking about what it possibly was, until it suddenly seemed to shrink to a bright dot (probably flying directly away from us). Once it was distant but still visible, it shot straight up at incredible speed and was gone. I know we stood there for a few minutes, not saying anything, and then suddenly dad was home from the pub and it was after 11pm. We had only been stood at the door watching for minutes, not over an hour? We both still remember it well. - MUFON

Hey folks...I believe it has come to a point where any future witness information pertaining to these flying humanoid sightings in the Chicagoland area needs to be kept within our task force. There are others who continue to track down the witnesses and harass them...and I can't have that. All future posts will be kept to a minimum...description and general area only. There are so-called paranormal investigators in the Chicago area who feel that it is their right to get as much information, regardless of their methods, in order to gain notoriety as a result of these sightings. I'm sorry it has come to this, but I'm not going to endanger the privacy of those witnesses who come forward. Pike with primeval horns from River Irtysh puzzle experts: did rocket pollution lead to mutant fish?

Fisherman Alexey, 25, pulled two fish from the river last autumn, but his bizarre catch is only disclosed now.

He was puzzled as one pike weighing 12 kilograms had two horns, and the second - 7 kilograms - had four horns. Both fish were immediately nicknamed dragons by fellow anglers.

Alexey ate the fish, despite warning of them being potentially poisonous, with no ill-effect.

Alexey kept and dried the heads, preserving them in his garage.

‘I was impressed with the catch', said Alexey. 'One of the pikes was 14 kilograms, another one was 7 kilograms.

Bizarre Footprint Found Near Cape Canaveral

Mims, Florida - 2018-01-28: I was walking the property of my farm as I always do, just a check to make sure everything is okay. As I made my way up the dirt road I couldn't help by notice a deep indentation in the mud that was not there the day before, or before I turned in for the night. It was the shape of a small foot sunken into the fresh mud from the evening rain. I think it was some kind of print from a flexible boot. It measured about seven inches in length and at its widest point (what would be the ball of the foot) 3 inches. I was taken back, almost like an excitement of shock. You see we have no small children on our farmland, and I don't think a very small child would come in the middle of the night on dark farmland during heavy rain showers. I also know for certain it is not an animal track. Within the print you can see the edges are 100% smooth (edge of boot) what would be the sole, one can see like one solid marking from heel to toe, it has a curve as like your gym shoe along the side the side, and it also has lines almost like a strange traction. Immediately I called my wife out, we began to take photos and videos. We then went to a hobby store and bought plaster cast material. I was able to pull a mold of the print, the ball of the foot, arch and heal is able to be easily seen. Almost as if it was a highly flexible boot or something. We are located very, very close to the Kennedy Space Flight Center and launch pads. A lot is seen and heard in these skies and I have never thought twice, but with this print, we have an uneasy feeling. I feel certain the print is from something we have not seen on this earth. California Overdue For Major Earthquake

California earthquakes are a geologic inevitability. The state straddles the North American and Pacific tectonic plates and is crisscrossed by the San Andreas and other active fault systems. The magnitude 7.9 earthquake that struck off Alaska's Kodiak Island on Jan. 23, 2018 was just the latest reminder of major seismic activity along the Pacific Rim.

Tragic quakes that occurred in 2017 near the Iran-Iraq border and in central Mexico, with magnitudes of 7.3 and 7.1, respectively, are well within the range of earthquake sizes that have a high likelihood of occurring in highly populated parts of California during the next few decades.

The earthquake situation in California is actually more dire than people who aren't seismologists like myself may realize. Although many Californians can recount experiencing an earthquake, most have never personally experienced a strong one. For major events, with magnitudes of 7 or greater, California is actually in an earthquake drought. Multiple segments of the expansive San Andreas Fault system are now sufficiently stressed to produce large and damaging events.

The good news is that earthquake readiness is part of the state's culture, and earthquake science is advancing – including much improved simulations of large quake effects and development of an early warning system for the Pacific coast. Read more at California overdue for a major earthquake

Wilmington, IL Follow-Up: UFOs & Strange Lights

On Sunday I posted Unknown Winged Being Encountered in Wilmington, IL. I had mentioned that there had been a lot of UFO and flashing light activity in the same area...as well as other locations throughout Chicagoland. The original witness (who encountered the flying being in Wilmington, IL) compiled a report describing what she has noticed:

The date of my first Wilmington UFO encounter is hard to pinpoint exactly due to my shock, but the few people I had told right away brushed me off, so I just let it go and locked it in my mind. I do know that it ranged between December 10-Dec. 15 2017. Time of sighting I do recall, it was about 9:30pm and I froze locked on this object until it was gone without a trace. The UFO was here for a solid 7-10 minutes actually, so there was no denying what I believe to have seen first hand. Sadly I was home by myself so I had nobody to force outside to see for themselves.

Now this one is interesting because like I mentioned in my reply email I am surrounded by heavy wooded area. Lighting in my town is extremely sparse so the sky on clear nights is incredible, and usually carries an extremely eerie vibe to it because to the east and west of my home lie 2 massive power plants, and a semi-secret helipad and private (I think its private at least) airport are hidden within a few openings in the wooded area unseen from the main road, known only based off of seeing them ascend from strange areas seeming to be right smack in the middle of the trees.

Before I move on to the UFO details I wanted to make you aware of what I believe may be an important detail about this secretive helipad. My husband worked nights and didn’t come home until 11:00 pm usually so I felt sort of helpless and even began wondering if I was being irrational of my fear and discomfort I would endure every single night from April through the end of September 2017. Each night around 9:30-10:00 pm (varied by the day) I would hear a helicopter flying too low for comfort above my neighborhood in particular. It would fly this low in what sounded to be circles until about 11:00 pm and then seriously come back out at around 1:00 am and stay out low flying circling around until 2:30-3:00 am! No exaggeration here. I finally chose to go out and see this copter and sure enough it is all black and appears to be some type of military copter. I have seen it flying low in fields during the day in my previous town in the exact area of my very 1st UFO sighting in Channahon, IL 6 years ago; so I found that very strange. Spotlight was on and always seemed to be searching intently for something, and of course that’s unnerving. I think it’s connected to the encounters around here to an extent.

So back to the actual UFO. I happened to be looking in the general area of the arsenal location (US Army Ammunition Plant in Wilmington, IL) and in the distance a little further away you can see the orange light from the plant. I was just scanning as usual and suddenly I saw a VERY large triangular craft that was seemingly out of nowhere just hovering over the area. I know for sure it was far enough to be near this arsenal if not directly over it, but I couldn’t physically see what it was for sure hovering over. I saw a total of 3 lights on it, one light on each corner of the triangle. The lights looked to transition from red, blue and green smoothly. I believe I saw a white beam of light underneath the craft from my position on my steps and it wasn’t your text book abduction beam where its light is moving down to the ground, but I do know I caught a glimpse of white light in that area and it was bright enough to give me a feeling like it was scanning the premises for something or maybe even just taking a look around at my strange town? Either way it sat there in silence (I feel like I was 1-2 Miles away at the most as a reminder so I couldn’t see as much as I would’ve liked to, but I think I should’ve heard noise for how large it was!) it then started moving very slowly westbound for about 2 minutes maybe three, it hovered for 4 or 5 easily. It crept and then just flew out of the area in a split second like it just teleported to another dimension. I was on Cloud 9, and didn’t really feel any fear or anything this time. I was a little anxious but more frozen with excitement and shock. I attempted numerous pictures zoom on, off, filters for more light and I could NOT capture this craft with my phone cam at all, not even a glimpse which I found very creepy. I also want to add that the weather was very obviously cold, but there was not even a tad bit of breeze, and it was uncomfortably quiet that night as if a storm were about to hit us or something along those lines. Nothing was strange that night from what I recall with the lights in the sky upon the UFO arriving.

This next sighting happened on December 18th, 2017 and it was again to the east of my home, but it was much closer more visible and it was more southeast rather than northeast. It actually appeared right by the water tower I can see very clearly from my step even sitting down.

The time was 10:15 pm approx. I was actually on the phone with my husband during this one. I was just looking over in that vicinity for no particular reason at all while telling him a story I was excited about, when I started to notice what at first appeared to be those slow moving Christmas light laser things that people project on their house. I thought it was the house a block over but for some reason couldn't stop looking at the green lights moving around. I started to lose my excitement in my voice while talking because I was feeling weird, almost uncertain I suppose is the best way to describe it. My husband got really concerned because I fell completely silent a few moments later and I literally could not speak and actually started tearing up and to this day I don't know why I would cry. I don't just tear up in that way. But as I'm frozen I'm seeing a craft that looks pretty identical to the previous one but this time it was rising up like it had been on the ground prior to this moment.

Again very large, like there's no mistaking this for an airplane, and if neighbors were out I know they would've saw this all happen as well. It rose up at a fairly quick rate, not speed of light type but just a smooth unnaturally advanced rate no doubt. It just kept rising and by this time about 30 maybe 40 seconds have passed and I finally was able to let out an 'OH MY GOD'... and then I felt fear yet excitement and ran in the house and locked my door. I don't know why. I wanted to watch it go, but something was telling me to get inside and I can't figure out why. Probably wise I suppose, but still! As for it seeming to be near the house a block away it definitely was much farther than that once I realized what it was, but still much closer than the previous encounter. This was a quick one. After this happened I decided to check out MUFON and research sightings out here and I did find one maybe 2 in April of 2017 of almost the same description UFO!

STRANGE LIGHTS:

Ive only noticed the lights for about 2 weeks maybe 3 tops. I feel like it's closer to 2 weeks. I've been describing to my family what look at first to be a "new star" but they're just way too large and they glimmer very beautifully to be honest. They glimmer white in the middle always but outlining the white it sparkles bright purple very bright green and to me it looks like a small sparkle of red but red isn't the dominant outlining color at all. I've discovered about 4 or 5 of these all more southeast from my sky view, and 3 of them I know for sure appear in a large triangle and look like a constellation. The problem is I love space and constellations and I own many books on these, but this particular triangle is something I've ever ever seen in the sky until very recently. I'll say January 21st was when I noticed first and they appear clearer and more vibrant the later it gets - 1 am through 4 am they're incredible! Very unnatural in my opinion and sometimes appear to be slowly moving or bouncing. Hardly noticeable.

The lights seems to be moving much more this morning but with my flying humanoid sighting I firmly believe my vision was distorted moments before the creature appeared so I don't want to confirm wholeheartedly that they were in fact moving at a pretty noticeable pace for sure.

UFO 'Landing Lights'

Cabo Frio, Brazil - 2015-01-09: Well, I'm an aero-modelist and I was practicing on the beach, towards the sea. That's when I saw two lights that looked like the landing lights for landing an airplane. These lights approached a certain port and as we were near an airport, we lowered our model airplanes as a measure of security that we always adopted. It turns out that after some time and proximity, the lights "returned" and "returned", uniting in only one light that soon disappeared, as if they had returned at high speed, to a place a little below where they came. A forensic linguist from The University of Manchester who analysed letters supposedly signed by Jack the Ripper has concluded that two of the most famous examples were written by the same person.

Unexplained 'Glitch' While Driving Home

“My husband was in a rehabilitation center for physical therapy, following triple bypass heart surgery. The rehab was 2 towns away from my house. One night when I was leaving the rehab, I took the longer route home because it was more brightly lit. The shorter route was dark with no street lights, and I didn't like travelling that route after dark. So, I was driving the longer, brightly lit route, when a car in front of me pulled to the side of the road and let me pass by. But strangely, as soon as I passed the car, it immediately pulled out and began following me – closely! - with high beams. Just then, I crossed the border into the next town. There are many stores, restaurants and a hotel in that area so the lights are even brighter there. But suddenly... everything on the road went black, and I heard a sound like an overhead garage door closing. BANG... I found myself driving on a pitch black narrow road with no lights and no car following me. I was not on the same road that I had been travelling. I began talking out loud to myself. “What the hell? Where the hell am I? What the hell has happened?”

It was then that I realized that my headlights were shining on a street sign up ahead. It said Gale Rd. Gale Rd. was the dark, short-cut route that I absolutely did not take when I left the rehab center. I found myself almost all the way back to the rehab, though I had already reached the next town while driving home. Now, I had to repeat the drive. But this time, I had to take the other pitch black route home, the route that I didn't want to drive at night in the first place. My husband always called me when I got home. He knew the trip back home took me about 40 mins. But, I began thinking that this time he was going to wonder what was taking me so long to get home. I never looked at the time, but I assumed that whatever happened to put me almost all the way back where I started, would have added at least a half hour to my trip home... maybe longer.

When I finally got home, the phone rang. It was my husband, and before I told him what had happened, I apologized for taking so long to get home. I asked him how many times he had tried to call me. First, silence on the other end... and then my husband said, "This is my first time calling. It's only been about a half hour; you're not late." It was then that I explained to him what had happened to me. But, in reality, I have no clue what actually happened. A vortex in the road? Did the car that pulled over in front of me, and then proceeded to follow me have something to do with what happened to me? Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?”

I just noticed the following bizarre post at Reddit Humanoid Encounters:

I don't want to disclose too much about myself, so please bear with my vagueness.

I will say that ever since high school ended I've been all over the country for my job. Old family manors in the backwoods of Tennessee, to the shiny lights of New York City & the exclusive beachfront resorts of Miami. I've met a lot of weirdo's in my days and a lot of good people as well.

I thought I'd seen every type of person this grand earth had to offer, from a tech exec worth a billion dollars all the way down to heroin addicts trying to get work from us so they could score a high. I met someone (or something) one hot July night at a rural park in the wrong part of Alabama that I'll never forget.

The crew I travel with consists of about 15 guys, and we hire local labor wherever we go to get the "heavy lifting" done quick and we can move onto the next job rapidly. The company gives us the money to get motel rooms in whatever town we land in but we frequently sleep in our vehicles, they let us keep 75% of the money we saved on lodging. We travel in a caravan of two F/250's, a 25'foot box truck and a school bus. Most dudes sleep in the bus, the front half of the seats were ripped out and rigged for storage but the back still had seats, so it was enough for about 12 guys to have their own seat for sleeping.

We usually park in some state parks parking lot, or if we can find a place that's walking distance to a bar. Preferably off the beaten path, just so we don't have to talk to the cops every day.

I'm getting too far off topic here, back to the point. So here we all are on a Friday night in the middle of Alabama, only thing within two miles is a bar and a dollar store. We were parked on a dirt service road about a mile from the bar, on the left of the bus was a heavily wooded area of the park and on the right was an open field, you could see the back of the bar across it.

So we all pile into the bar and start boozing, around 1am people started heading back for the bus, I did too. On the way back we walked on the road and down the dirt road, not cutting through the tall grass in the field. This night there were three men in the field. I was standing outside the bus with a few dudes smoking cigarettes and telling jokes when I made eye contact with one of the guys and he waved to me. Being the generally nice guy I am I gave a wave back. All three of the men waved again after that, this is where it got weird. The three waved back in a strange way, all raising their left hand and tilting their heads slightly, slowly waving their hands before they stopped, exactly in sync with each other.

I laughed it off still being pretty buzzed and boarded the bus and plopped down in an open seat. I put my feet up on the top of the seat in front of me and leaned my head against against the window, I was asleep almost immediately.

I was jarred from my sleep when my coworker Manuel grabbed me by the shoulder and shook. "Steven, Veo!" He pointed out the window on the field side of the bus. I could see the tops of heads running the length of the bus, back and forth, I watched quietly for minutes. I kicked the guy sleeping across from me in the ribs, just hard enough to wake him up.

I stammered in my terrible Spanish, "Silencio, Mirra aqui." He sat in silence watching with us in silence. I could see them running the length of the bus but I noticed something. It was dead silent, besides the light snores of those in the bus. This meant that their footsteps weren't making any noise.

It must have been 2 minutes before I finally moved, I pulled my .38 from my backpack and pulled the two awake guys to the front of the bus with me. We woke up a couple others and told them to watch. I ran down the steps and threw my shoulder against the doors, forcing a hole into the door and jumping onto the dirt below, followed immediately by four guys wielding digging bars and saws. Two of the dudes were yelling at one of the guys at the back of the bus, but I was focused on the guy in front of me. He was running to the front of our caravan, the two small trucks were in front of the bus and the box truck was in the back.

The guy I had my focus on ran around the front of the caravan and came down the opposite side, I was going to stick the digging bar I had across his chest to try and knock him down, but he took off a few feet into the heavy woods. I had the bar raised and I was ready to spear this guy with a 65 LB bar if he tried something. He was a couple feet in the tree line, but I could see his face as clearly in the moonlight. Eyes bigger than anything i'd ever seen, and lips drawn back like he was showing off his teeth. I could still hear my guys yelling at the rear of the bus.

I raised the revolver a bit, aimed to the left of him. No need to shoot a tweaker if they aren't trying to kill you. This is when it spoke the strangest string of sounds. I'll try to type what I heard. "Yee blagst blagst ern din dinium err, geee geee". His body gyrated and contorted with each sound, but his mouth didn't move. His mouth didn't open or fucking shut with any noise it vocalized. I shot down into the dirt ahead of me and this thing screeched, like an animals war cry it was almost deafening.

It turned faster than any human could and disappeared into the woods, I heard the two other things take off after it, dashing into thick brush. That was the last we saw of them, probably because we high tailed it the hell out of there.

Giants in Lake Winnipeg

The Flood of the Century may have spawned the largest walleye that Lake Winnipeg ice fishers have seen in recent memory.

Veteran ice fisher and nature guide Lee Nolan said this year, fishers are finding giant walleye in Manitoba's largest lake — and he said it all started with excellent spawning seasons.

"So back in 1997 and 2000, when we had very high water, walleye had a very, very good spawn," said Nolan. "So you've got year classes of fish."

The 1997 spring flood that affected large parts of Manitoba is considered the Flood of the Century, meaning the water reached the highest point it's expected to reach in a century.

"Those fish are getting very mature now, so that's why you've got a higher percentage of the biomass in the lake [that] is actually very, very, large fish."

So how big are the fish?

"I believe the current ice-fishing record is about 35, 36 inches [roughly 90 centimetres] and I think there's some fish that size out there," said Nolan, adding so far, the biggest one he's caught was 32 inches (81 centimetres). Man Killed After Being Sucked Into MRI Machine

An Indian man died after being sucked into an MRI machine while visiting a relative at a hospital in Mumbai, police said Monday.

Rajesh Maru, 32, was yanked towards the machine by its magnetic force after he entered the room carrying an oxygen cylinder, the city's police said in a statement.

"We have arrested a doctor and another junior staff member under section 304 of the Indian penal code for causing death due to negligence," Mumbai police spokesman Deepak Deoraj told AFP.

The incident occurred on Saturday night at the Indian financial capital's Nair Hospital.

Police said preliminary reports suggested that the man had died from inhaling liquid oxygen that leaked from the cylinder.

It is thought the cylinder was damaged after hitting the machine.

Not a Dream...It Really Happened

January 27, 2018 - Couldn't sleep...by about 2 am, feet in an intense attack mode by someone...hungry by 4 am...got up and walked out to the living room on the way to the kitchen. I see what looks like a big spot light through my picture window. I've seen this before out back our house in summer, like something just recently landed. How this came into the picture window was unique, as the only road nearby could make it car lights is not in the angle this was. It's a straight on street into my neighbors driveway. Feet in pain and burning and numb.

I returned to bed, I don't know when I feel asleep really. When I woke up my hair looked like I'd been raped nearly, it was wild looking, and like I fought whoever was doing this to me also. I went back out to the sofa and fell asleep and slept until noon. When I got up my entire left leg was "sore" and my feet numb again. I have had to hang onto passing furniture to make it around the house today for the most part. I don't know what this is, but wish it would go away and stay away...so I can heal. The light last night was about in the same area as a triangle ship hovering in the sky appeared prior also. It did much magnetic
damage back then...as it pulled down the entire metal gutters out in front of our house roof back then. All at once about 30 feet of it fell instantly to the ground. kemokae - http://earthboppin.net/

Unknown Winged Being Encountered in Wilmington, IL

I received the following email on Sunday January 28, 2018 at 6:50 AM ET:

I live in Wilmington, IL, about 15 mins south of Joliet. I frequent my outside steps in between 1-4 am pretty much nightly for a smoke or two, and I'm constantly observing the skies out of pure fascination. I only mention this because I have never in the year and 1/2 of living in this home experienced anything as incredible, yet terrifying, as this sighting!

At exactly 4:36 am CT (Sunday January 28, 2018 local time) I was sitting on my step and I, of course, was looking up at the sky, when suddenly my eyes were immediately drawn to what appeared to be a weird hybrid mix of an owl and a bat. To me the size was approximately that of a large raccoon...I even would go as far as saying it was a bit larger. For some reason, I was frozen solid with my eyes locked on this thing. I found it weird that even with how dark it was outside it seemed close enough for me to notice details of it to the point of realizing that it appeared brownish/greyish in color and the wings had a bat like feel to them. I felt a little weird explaining to my husband that it was triangular and resembled the biggest moth ever. Instantly my head went to the Mothman no doubt! It was shockingly fast and it never made a sound...nor did it flap its wings. It just glided west and disappeared as fast as it seemed to appear. This creature even looked to have passed through a very old and very tall tree in my yard, and even though it was hard to obviously tell whether it went above my tree or literally through the branches, I still never heard even a small rustle from the breeze it would've created due to its speed. I apologize for the novel I am clearly writing, but I want to give you as many details as possible as I also have a couple questions about details from other noted sightings of this.

The most interesting part of my experience is that I felt and still currently feel a sense of dread and impending doom, similar to anxiety but at the same time it felt like this creature perched itself onto my roof and was just glaring at me until I went inside. Whether this is true I don't know for sure, but I've never felt watched like that before. After it had essentially disappeared into the night and I was in disbelief I started to hear what sounded similar to a bat screech but with a lower tone, and definitely sounded much larger than a bat. It happened twice within about 5 seconds apart from each screech and I then booked it inside to explain it all to my husband. It is currently 1 hour since the sighting and I still feel as if I'm being almost preyed upon. I am very curious to know if others who have contacted you have had similar dreadful feelings and/or heard these screeches?

NOTE: Fortunately, I was awake when the email reached me. I immediately contacted the witness by email and then left a note for the Chicago Phantom Task Force. I received a telephone number and called the witness at 8:38 AM ET. The description of the winged being was that it had a triangular shape...reminiscent of the 2011 photo from 8/22/2011 at 63rd and Pulaski Rd in Chicago, IL. The witness says that the being was flying at an altitude of approximately 50 ft. and anywhere from 4-5 ft. in length. The wingspan was approximately 5 ft. on either side of the body, which was thin and dark in color. She also noticed a sheen on the body...like it may have had reptilian-like skin and wet. The wings were membraned like a bat, but shaped like that of a huge owl. She was amazed at how quickly it glided and that it did not flap its wings or make a sound.

Shortly after the sighting, the witness heard screeches that sounded like children. She was sure this being was watching her and that she reacted like something sinister was about to occur. She went indoors and told her husband. She then found the descriptions of the Chicago sightings and contacted me.

It must also be noted that the witness and others in her neighborhood have experienced UFO sightings and flashes of light since December 2017. The location is just east of the Kankakee River surrounded by several nature preserves...situated between power generating stations and a chemical plant. There is a lot of wetland throughout the area. As well, the weather has been unseasonably warm the past few days, possibly prompting the reappearance of these winged beings.
