Frightening ELLIOT LAKE 'APE-MEN' Encounter

A grandfather recalls an incident when he was a child of an encounter with multiple 'ape-men' while panning for gold with his family at Elliot Lake, Ontario.
I received the following account:
"My grandpa, a WWII veteran and born in Scotland, came to Canada with my great-grandparents and lived by Elliot Lake from about 2 years of age, until paranormal activity plagued him and his large family, when, at about 11 years of age, they moved to the golden-mile region of Ontario to Alliston. He, his 4 brothers, and his father used to pan for gold in the various rivers and streams, near Elliot Lake and, that part of Northern Ontario, known to be rich in other precious metals and gems, especially Amethyst, took them to Elliot Lake, in search of many other minerals, stones, silver and gold, various other times, whilst his family lived there.

He recounted, to me, the 1st time, of many paranormal experiences, where he recalled an anomalous or paranormal experience, during a week-long camping/gold panning excursion with his father two of his brothers, and one of his sisters, when he was about 9, where they'd been cooking fish, caught by his sister, over a campfire. He had little memory of any experiences that preceded this memory, although he'd overheard much discussion about them. Anyhow, as they waited to eat his sister's catches, creepy screeching, howling, and then chattering sound(s) could be heard, almost as if close by but emanating from somewhere within the forest that surrounded their campsite.

He told me that, they were sitting around on logs, as their father was quite strict and, although the three boys were talking loudly, the creepy unknown sounds, quickly reduced the talk to nothing and, his dad, who had picked up his shotgun had really instilled a deep sense of fear, to which they remained vigilantly silent and continued to listen, in earnest. Due to the pending sense of danger these queer sounds they'd heard, coupled with their father having picked up the shotgun, they continued to listen, in complete silence, the only other sound came from the popping and crackling of the burning wood on their campfire.

At first, what they heard was screeching and the boys thought nothing of it but, later, his older sister told him that she'd asked their father what it was. Once silence set in between the boys, it became obvious that this screeching sound did not sound like anything human, the growls and chatter, at first sounding like monkeys, were more guttural and quite frightening. There had been some talk of "ape-men" in the area, during the 1930s but, not many would talk about it openly, for fear of being labeled as delusional or crazy yet, in whispers to one another, the boys speculated that these sounds were coming from an "ape-man". Then, after being hushed up again by their father, it sounded like the chatter was emanating from two or more unknown creatures, and, within a short time, these sounds came closer to them.

What truly frightened them was the screeches or screams, as if an unknown creature was injured or in pain or trouble, and the theory, later on, was that this creature was calling for the help of one of its kind.

These sounds came nearer and nearer, the screeching began to subside and the chatter between these 2 or more creatures grew. Quietly but quickly, my grandfather's dad, after instructions to my great aunt to hide, and the boys snuffed out the fire, buried the fish and, grabbing only necessary items, to carry on their backs, abandoned camp, grabbing grandpa's sister and hastily scrambled away from the approaching sounds. One of his brother's strings of his pack broke and important tools were in this bag so, two of the brothers stopped to save what they could and placed them in the other brother's bag.

My grandpa and his sisters were in front of their father, who was in the middle and guarding the boys as they saved this gear. The two boys were, of course, behind him and somewhat still exposed to the opening of the trees and most near the lakefront where their now abandoned camp stood. Suddenly, my great-grandfather hollered out "Leave the gear and run, run", amongst other things that Grandpa said he'd not repeat. My great-aunt screamed which distracted the two boys, in turn, a fear-inducing howl, unlike anything any of them had ever heard before, came very loudly and very close by too.

My great-grandfather hollered "There's 4 or 5 of them" and "God help us". My grandfather said that the two brothers left everything and the group ran, whilst their father fired shots at one of them, because, two "ape-men" retreated, one was carrying a smaller one but, one was running towards them, growling and shrieking aggressively. Fortunately, all 5 family members were unharmed and able to get away. To where, I don't think Grandpa said.

They only ever discussed this encounter, amongst themselves but a couple of times, until many years had passed. By the time my great-uncle George had brought it up with my grandpa and my great-uncle Gord, they'd all been married and started families, scattering about different areas of Ontario. Grandpa believes it was in 1949 before my mom and two of her older sisters were born. He and grandma had only 2 of 5 of their children, at the time but, what prompted the discussion was a Bigfoot/Sasquatch story in Dawson's Creek BC, where my grandparents were about to move.

From the time this Bigfoot sighting, of 3-5 of them, happened in the 1930s to the late 1940s, many stories had been appearing in many newspapers, especially post WWII. My grandfather was a closet Sasquatch researcher, amongst other areas of paranormal research, and collected any article he'd come across, over those nearly 2 decades.

Afterward, this open discussion about the experience the brothers had, Grandpa shared the research with George and Gord and Sasquatch had a name, here in Canada. Throughout Grandpa's lifetime, proceeding his childhood experiences on Elliot Lake, after this discussion in 1949, Grandpa began to write stories for newspapers in, both, Ontario and British Columbia publications, most notably The Toronto Star.

This was not his only paranormal experience but, it was one in which there were other witnesses. Grandpa had numerous paranormal experiences throughout his life and Elliott Lake was the place where some of the more frightening but, accepted experiences took place.

He and his brother Gord saw UFOs there but, other anomalous creatures/entities were seen by him and others he knew, as a child. I believe that everything Grandpa ever shared with the people who read his newspaper stories was true. He did not always mention that these stories were based on, if not 100% real-life, true accounts but, he was well-read. Unfortunately, back in the '50s and '60s, a published story only paid an average of $200. His highest-paid story published was in 1973, for which he was paid $1,000 but it was not a paranormal story. It was a comedy called "Mother Drives", a non-fiction account of him trying to teach grandma, a 4' 11" Scotswoman how to drive a huge Cadillac "boat", as she called it.

In short, I have no idea where these Bigfoot cryptids come from, be it underground, in caves, or possibly inter-dimensional but, I too think they're real. Also, there is some kind of tie-in with UFOs and Elliot Lake is a popular destination for Bigfoot/Sasquatch hunters to date. His other paranormal experiences/publications are fascinating too. I have kept every original manuscript or writing he's ever written, whether published or not, and, one day, in honor of him and his unpublished work especially, plan to put together a book full of his stories. ABDUCTION & ORGAN REMOVAL: An Alien Harvest!

This account was forwarded to me about the same time I started investigating the David Eckhart encounters and abductions. Rosario's scenario is a bit scary and may verify some concerns involving alien intentions. In our conversation, Rosario seemed very sincere and demonstrated spontaneous emotion when certain subjects were discussed:

"I want to thank you for allowing me to tell my story. I have been a subscriber to your site for over a year and it has inspired me to open up so others be made aware of the complications that humans may face after an abduction by alien beings."

"One early morning during the late Summer of 1990, I awoke from a very deep sleep. It was 3:35AM and still dark outside, though I'd be up in an hour or so since it was harvest time on the farm.

I was feeling nervous as my heart pounded heavily. I sensed that there was someone in my bedroom, but all I could see was a spot of light in the corner by the dresser. Suddenly several hands grabbed me from all around the bed. I attempted to scream but could not move or say anything, nothing came out of my mouth."

"Within seconds I found myself lying on a cold hard table completely nude and terribly uncomfortable. I looked around me and there were four small beings in hoods and loose robes standing around me. They were conversing with each other, but I could not understand what they were saying since it sounded like a young child's gibberish. I felt something touching me all over my body but could see nothing. The beings' faces had a weird glow with sagging folds of shining skin."

"After what seemed like forever these beings slowing moved aside and this human-like man walked up to my side. He was tall, bald and had very pale skin. He also had large round eyes and was very slim. He came over to the table and started to talk to me in English. He calmly said that he was perplexed that I was so scared since he made it clear the last time that they had met he would return to ask a favor. He then turned and raised his hand, gesturing to a woman who walked into the room. She seemed to be a normal human female and quite beautiful. She had a small bundle in her arms and walked over to me. It was an infant, but it had pale skin and didn't look quite human."

"The tall man instructed me that he wanted me to take the infant and care for it. It needed the love of a human mother since their race did not understand the emotion of love. I told him that I couldn't because I already had a child and it was hard enough raising my son alone on a farm when times were currently difficult for me. He raised his head up and down as if agreeing with what I said and passed his hands across my eyes. I must have passed out because I awoke to found myself in my bed."

"It was daylight and I figured that I had been 'gone' for about 5 hours. When I tried to get out of bed, my legs and hips were very stiff and sore. I carefully stood up and noticed 2 large spots of wet blood on the bedsheets. The experience with the beings was still fresh on my mind but I had no idea that I had endured any probing or surgery."

"A few days later, I decided to schedule a doctor's appointment just to make sure I was OK. The doctor recommended a full physical since my blood pressure was higher than usual and my ankles were swollen. An appointment was made at my local hospital for x-rays and blood work."

"To make a long story short, I returned to my doctor's office a few days after the tests were performed. When I walked into her office, she asked me to sit down and explained that my right kidney was missing. She said that it was probably missing since birth and was just never noticed. I found this hard to believe since I had given birth to my child and have had other x-rays in the past. I just agreed with her assessment and was instructed that I would need to start taking hypertension medication and would need to be regularly monitored."

"I am positive that the beings removed my kidney and performed other experiments on my body. Though it has been almost 20 years since that encounter, I just know that they will be back."

"Lon, have you ever heard of organs and/or body parts being harvested from abducted humans?"

"I sincerely hope I can eventually get some answers." R

NOTE: I did talk to Rosario and assured her that she wasn't the only person that I knew of who had whole or parts of organs removed during an abduction or encounter. It's been about a decade since I last talked to Rosario for an update. I hope she found some solace. Lon

Young Teens Encounter BIGFOOT While Camping in Central Iowa

Almost 45 years after the incident, a witness details a campout during the summer in Central Iowa in which two friends encounter a Bigfoot roaming their campsite.

"Thanks for reading my email. I grew up in the country, in Central Iowa (Marshall County), and where we lived houses were literally a mile apart. It was mostly farmland with lots of large wooded areas.

One summer a schoolmate friend and I went camping at a local reservoir. I think we were only maybe 12 or 13 years old (before high school). This was back in the 70s so I don’t remember exactly, but what I do remember was that the campground we stayed at was very isolated around this huge reservoir. But there were park rangers around so we never felt like the area was unsafe.

But the first night, about 2:00 in the morning, we heard someone walking around outside. We were both terrified because it was big - not like a raccoon or possum. We were both frozen with fear.

After about 10 minutes of not hearing anything, and assuming whatever it was left, my friend got his flashlight and slowly unzipped the tent closure - as quietly as possible. When he turned on his flashlight there was what we could only describe as a Bigfoot about 30 feet away just staring at us. It slowly backed up and walked away. We never heard anything else walking around that night so it left. We were so scared and we had no car and they didn’t have cell phones back then so we had to endure the rest of the night.

When our parents picked us up the next day we were so glad to get the heck out of there. And back then, we didn’t know anything about Bigfoot - it wasn’t talked about - at least not where we were." E

MERMAID & MERMEN Rescue Youth at Beaver Lake, Arkansas

An Arkansas youth was rescued from serious injury by a mermaid & mermen while diving at Beaver Lake. They also convey knowledge about their kind during the encounter.

"Hi. When I was a kid in high school, during summer time, my younger brother and friends, would go to Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas to go swimming. We used to jump off a cliff into the water.

One day I jumped and people watching said that a giant fish-like person grabbed me from hitting my head on nearby rocks. When I was under the water, I opened my eyes and saw a young lady with a silvery fish tail instead of legs. Two young men with her were behaving very protective of her and kept me from getting near to the lady. They also had silvery fish tails, apparently, one guy was her boyfriend or bridegroom. That one had short black hair and a pencil mustache, the other one had strawberry blonde hair and raced ahead of the two. They were nice and benevolent to me.

Volumes about their world were conveyed to me in a few moments. They are different life forms on earth that we do not know anything about, and they want it kept that way. Under normal circumstances those males would have killed me, so I suppose they were trying to impress the female, or one of them was courting her and the other was escorting them somewhere.

Mermaids and mermen are captivating and very attractive, but also kill humans. I don't know why but these ones actually saved my life, and swam into the darkness." S

Navajo Reservation School Teacher Recalls SKINWALKER Encounter

A non-Native school teacher at the Dine Navajo Reservation describes their encounter with a skinwalker while driving at night through the tribal lands.

"Between Crownpoint, New Mexico and Borrego Pass on Navajo Tribal Road 48. I am a non-Native American who has lived and worked on the Navajo Indian Reservation as a school teacher on several different occasions. The most recent gig was from November 1997 to June 2000. As a lifelong resident of New Mexico, I have driven hundreds of thousands of miles, with tens of thousands of those miles at night. I consider myself a very experienced night-time driver, as I have seen almost every type of mammal and animal, both wild and domestic, that New Mexico has. I've seen deer, elk, cattle, horses, sheep, dogs, cats, rabbits, mountain lions, badgers, skunks, porcupines, etc. while driving at night. I recognized them all.

When I first started working at Borrego Pass School in 1997, I was making a home visit to one of my students. His name was Billy (name changed). Billy was a brilliant boy, with a higher-than-average I.Q. He told me on that visit that their neighbor (a mile away) was a "skinwalker". I scoffed at Billy and said something like, "There is no such thing." But Billy insisted, saying that the neighbor changed into an animal and came to their house and looked into the windows. This was all very interesting to me, but I pretty much forgot about what he said.

Around 1998, I started teaching night classes at Dine College in Crownpoint. Teaching astronomy, the class would end around 10:00 p.m., and I would head back home to Borrego Pass, 18 miles to the east. One night after class, about 10:15 p.m., sometime in the spring (April or May) of 2000, I was driving my 1998 Ford Escort on Navajo Tribal Road 48. I drove about 50 mph because of the possibility of horses and livestock in the roadway. I always noted Billy's house off the road at about the halfway point to my home. It was one of my "waypoints".

It was about this time that suddenly something weird passed from right to left in front of my car's headlights. This was the strangest creature or object I've ever encountered on the road. It was a large, shapeless hole that did not reflect any light whatsoever. My car's headlights simply disappeared and were swallowed into the darkness of this mass. I saw no definite shape, no legs, no head, no eyes -- just a shapeless black hole. I have never seen anything thing quite like it, before or since, but whatever it was, gave me the creeps.

I remember getting scared and speeding up. I pushed the car's speed up to 65 mph and got to my little duplex at Borrego Pass ASAP. I got into the apartment as quickly and locked the door behind me. I then sat in the living room, trying to figure out what I saw.

The next day, I told one of my Navajo friends what I saw. His jaw dropped. He immediately said it was a skinwalker, but I had nothing to worry about since they can't harm white men. Still, it was weird. I have told this story to several Navajos and they have all pretty much come to the same conclusion that it was a skinwalker. Weird stuff, for sure. A logical explanation says it was a black dog or black bear, but it's more fun to think of it as a skinwalker.

This happened one night, but not the same night as my skinwalker encounter: One night, when driving back from Gallup, New Mexico, I was tailgated by a Ford Bronco (the original type) driving without headlights. I wrote this off as a guy using me as his lights since his didn't work...or he was drunk...or both. I sped up as fast as I could to shake him. I don't remember what happened, but obviously, he did not follow me back to Borrego." M

BIGFOOT & OTHER CRYPTID Encounters Reported Along North Carolina's Yadkin River

In July 2011, I started receiving emails about strange sightings in Davie County, in particular, the area around the Yadkin River. I posted one engrossing account, which resulted in other incident reports. I'd be interested in further accounts from the area, as well as anything else you can offer:

"I live in west-central North Carolina. I live at a location that is very close to the Yadkin River in Davie County. The river’s flood plain comes to my property line in a valley with no houses and heavily wooded – however two roads to cross to get to my house. The river’s edge is primarily undeveloped, with almost a 300 yard flood area clearance on both sides for miles and miles. This river floods regularly, but not very muck lately. There are high voltage power lines running across the area as well. Now that the stage is set, let’s go. We have also put a game camera out to see if we could catch anything on is. We so far have caught a fat pregnant deer, several raccoon and a grey fox. That pregnant deer has twins now have been in our garden. The deer are pretty thick around here.

This is not a hot bed of Bigfoot sightings. But I have been hearing something very large walking in the woods beside my house. My dog has been kicked by something and knocked out for a few seconds. All we heard that night was a thud as it sounded like he was kicked in the side. We saw nothing as it was around 11:30 pm on a moonless night. A few moments later, he was up chasing a scent down the neighbor’s field. My son grabbed his flashlight and looked around down at the wood line and caught a pair of large red-orange eyes reflection. We went down later to investigate where they were. There is an opening right where he saw the eyes. We determined that whatever it was had to stand about 4 feet tall or so if it was standing in the field and 9 feet tall if it was standing in the woods as the opening has a steep drop off to the tree he used as a reference spot. The last explanation is that whatever it is was in the tree at that level. We are hunters and spend time in the woods often. We have never seen a pair of red-orange eyes around here. Not sure what a bear’s eyes look like, but we have no bear population around here.

I often stay up very late and go outside to look around with the flashlight around 3 or 4 in the morning. I have heard on three occasions a very loud knock following my spotlighting around. It sounds like two large rocks being hit together, not like a rock hitting a tree. They have come from three different spots down in the back yard in the woods. The knock sounds are only heard about once every 8-12 days. Kind of like what ever it is only passes through this area on some kind of schedule. Not sure if that sounds logical? I have only on one occasion heard what I would call a howl. It was in the distance and was NOT a coyote. Not even close. It was a different tone and lasted too long.

I would love to hear a logical explanation for all of this." Ken

Not long after I posted Ken's report, I received the following narrative:

"Concerning the 'Bigfoot on the Yadkin River in Davie County'. I live several miles up river from where this event took place. I am approximately 4 miles from the Yadkin River but at night on occasion I have heard the tree knocking, the howls but I have never seen one or saw a track. I have a tendency to stay out of the woods at night in the summertime due to copperheads and Poison Ivy.

When I first started hearing the howls it happened on a regular basis from about 10:00P.M. to 1:00A.M. or 2:00 A.M. At first I thought it could have been some type of owl but that didn't match up. One day I was looking at an investigation that had been done in upstate New York when they started to play the howling sounds that had been recorded from a possible Bigfoot encounter and it was exactly like I heard. My dogs also have been at times seriously pissed at something in the woods across the road from my house and keeping them from going after it is almost impossible.

Please do not reveal my name or contact info if you publish this letter. The next time I hear the sounds I will post it on here if you would like for me to.

I received another summary on the same day:

"I read your piece about an unknown animal or possible Bigfoot in Davie County. I live between Advance, NC and the Yadkin River and I can say that I have experienced related noises that include wood knocking and weird howls. I also caught a glimpse of a large man-like beast in the Eureka Mills area last Fall while canoeing. This thing rose up from the brush in a clearing. I was about 50 ft. from the bank and it was another 50 ft off the shore. It dashed off so quick I barely saw it, but I know it wasn't a deer, bear or human.

I have heard stories of sightings but people around here kind of keep these things quiet. One of my friend's neighbors down the road from me had a heavy metal sliding door ripped off his barn a few months ago. He said that one of his goats was carried off also. He called the local police who came out and saw large footprints in the mud. That incident never made any news. There is something moving up and down the river as far as I'm concerned." M

Spontaneous 'FIRES!' Were DJINN Responsible?

Over a several-month period in late 2012, there had been a series of unexplained small fires in Turkey households said to have been caused by Djinn.

In Muslim tradition, a djinn is a spirit often capable of assuming human or animal form and exercising supernatural influence over people. It is similar to a poltergeist as far as the activity...though a poltergeist is generally developed from a 'thoughtform manifestation' that may or may not be associated with an existing earthbound entity. I have posted a few of the known incidents in Turkey as well as a major case in Malaysia in 2010. Please excuse the translation.

12/4/2012 - Siirt Province, Turkey: Mysterious fires that have broken out seemingly for no apparent reason in the house of the Toprak family in Siirt province over the last four months have aroused great curiosity in the region. The Toprak family is distraught over the mysterious fires, as between 300 and 400 fire incidents have occurred in the last four months. Almost all of the family's belongings and furniture have been reduced to ashes for no known cause. The Toprak family's household items apparently catch fire spontaneously, with some people believing that the fires have been caused by supernatural forces. The father of the family, Zeki Toprak, told the Anatolia news agency that between 300-400 fires have erupted in four months. Stating that they had to move house four times in as many months, Toprak said such mysterious events have continued to happen in each house they have moved to. Similar mysterious fires have also broken out in the classroom of fifth-grade student M. Toprak.

The coat, notebooks, books, and several other items belonging to M. Toprak caught fire spontaneously in front of the students and teacher's eyes in the classroom. The teacher of M. Toprak told Anatolia that they searched M. Toprak for any material or substance that could have caused the fires, but did not find anything. The Siirt Governor's Office, the Siirt Provincial Mufti's Office, and Siirt University have all taken an interest in the family. Siirt Governor Ahmet Aydın, who also spoke to the agency, defined the incidents as supernatural and said it was impossible to understand having seen the many items that apparently spontaneously combusted. Aydın also said the governor's office is giving food to the family three times a day as they could not cook any meals in their house. Siirt University Rector Murat Erman said the university is extremely interested in the incidents and has established a team to investigate the possible reasons for such mysterious fires. Siirt Province Mufti Faruk Arvas pointed out that the fires might be due to the djinn. In Islam, the djinn are spirit beings that can be good or evil. A Fire Djinn in Malaysia

Between May and December 2010 a series of strange incidents occurred in the home of a seventy-three-year-old widow, Zainab Sulaiman, in a village near Kota Bharu, Malaysia. Objects disappeared and reappeared, clothes were found cut to shreds, food scraps were strewn across beds and large quantities of salt and smelly fish sauce were dumped into cooking pots.

It was all decidedly annoying, but Zainab and her family – a widowed daughter-in-law and two granddaughters – didn’t find it particularly frightening. They were merely being pestered, they assumed, by a mildly mischievous spirit. Even when a pair of pants, missing for three days, reappeared inside the refrigerator, they remained calm, hoping the imp would tire of its tricks.

But in mid-December the weirdness escalated dangerously: over the next ten weeks, dozens of small fires broke out on clothes, rugs, linoleum, and mattresses throughout the residence. Sometimes several occurred within a few minutes; on one hectic day, there were no fewer than 78.

Although all were quickly extinguished and surprisingly little damage was done, Zainab didn’t get a lot of sleep during those weird weeks. Her flimsy wooden dwelling, elevated on stumps and packed with clothes and bolts of cloth, was a veritable tinder box. She didn’t dare leave it unattended.

News of the activity spread quickly, and on January 4 a group of Muslim holy men arrived and declared the house was infested by invisible entities known as djinn. (Djinn is the plural; the masculine singular is djinni – or genie)

Djinn have featured prominently in Middle Eastern folklore since time immemorial and Mohammed, under the direction of the angel Gabriel, incorporated them into Muslim theology. Many of the tricks they reputedly play are highly reminiscent of those often attributed, in other cultures, to poltergeists.

Over several months, a plethora of holy men conducted exorcisms until the djinn weakened and left the location...actually scrawling a message on a banknote “Goodbye, everyone”.

Some aspects of the case strongly suggest the episode was genuinely paranormal:

* Zainab never sought to profit from the episode. It had, in fact, cost her dearly. Many of her possessions were destroyed, and she’d paid the Muslim priests 1000 Ringgits for their failed exorcism.

* She seemed completely honest, and it would have been virtually impossible for any of the family to start the fires without her noticing. No outsider could have hoaxed them.

* No family member had an obvious motive to hoax the affair.

* Independent witnesses saw objects move and disappear.

* The steady escalation of weirdness: beginning with objects moving and disappearing, progressing to the slashing of clothes, then to the weird message, and finally to the fires – conforms to patterns of polt behavior noted elsewhere.

* The very fact that more than 200 fires occurred without at least one of them doing serious damage – or for that matter completely consuming the flimsy dwelling - does seem almost miraculous. Uncannily localized fires have been noted at other polt sites.

* The surges in a weird activity that occurred when strangers arrived correspond with known poltergeist behavior.

* The presence of adolescent girls is sometimes seen as a veritable hallmark of a genuine poltergeist case.

* The djinn’s rather pointless message was reminiscent of others found at poltergeist sites.

* After the holy men failed to “cleanse” the house, the rate of fire-starting sharply increased. Similar sudden escalations of activity after attempted exorcisms have been noted at many other poltergeist sites.

On the other hand, a few things suggest the episode was bogus:

* Although none had occurred for ten days, two fires broke out on the very day I visited. Some might see that as a little too fortuitous.

* The family seemed strangely unexcited by the fires.

* At one stage so many of the girl’s uniforms were damaged that they had to stay home from school. Could that have been a motive for hoaxing?

* Most suspicious of all was the similarity of Wan’s handwriting to that on the 10-ringgit note.

But regardless of whether or not they were genuinely supernatural, the djinn, or the hoaxer(s), have called it quits, and Zainab can sleep soundly once again. - Excerpts from poltergeistfile.com

(PHOTO) The Mysterious CLINGAN 'BABY BIGFOOT'

The following photograph was forwarded to me in 2009 by an Arkansas witness. For years, I've seen several opinions as to what this photo depicted, but I'm still not convinced.

"Hello Lon, my name is Louisa Clingan and my cam captured that pic back in October of 2009. Thank you for posting it on your website. I am including in this e-mail attachment the enhanced photo using only hue and contrast to bring out more definition. In the inverted pics, you can see more structure, ears, hands, fingers, and toes. The cam was set in that location to try and catch what was killing the barn cats, and chickens and stealing the eggs.

Don't know if you know the background, but the pic was not taken seriously because our bird was in the following pics. You can see that it's not a bird lol. Also, I really think that people think that these animals are born 9 feet tall, lol. This is a small juvenile, from what we figured using the reeds, fence line, and bottom of the power box for height comparisons, we believe it is no taller than 18" from the top of the head to the ground in the sitting position, hypothetically it would be roughly 36" or 3' in the upright position. The visual that I and my son had on this same property back in 06 was no more than 3 1/2' to 4'."

A colleague told me later:

"Lon, I am kind of freaking out over this baby Bigfoot photo. I told you I would do a rendering of what it looks like. Well, the more I sat and stared at the original, the more I realized there was something more to this. I just had a feeling I wasn't seeing it, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Working only with shadows and highlights, I found this 'baby face'. Though I have actually seen an adult Bigfoot, this has me blown away.

As I started working on the face, I realized that in the original "enhancements" by someone else, even mine, were completely wrong. It doesn't look like a gorilla baby, nor a chimp baby. It's human! It looks like a human child!"

Later they stated:

"This is a living being. Now whether it is or isn't a Bigfoot child, I'll leave that up to you.

All I can say is that it wasn't supposed to be there.

I am also working on a colorized version, to enhance and coax out any more details.

Please, please tell me what you think about this. That picture has been prodding me, ever since I laid eyes on it."

'MAN DEER' or Possible 'NOT DEER' Encountered in Southeast Kentucky

The girlfriend of the experiencer contacted me, describing her boyfriend's encounter with a bizarre, massive 'man-deer' creature while driving home late one night.

I received the following account:

"This story isn’t a joke, trust me I thought it was at first too. My boyfriend (18M) saw something he can’t explain. It was New Year’s Eve and he was driving home after our date night so it was around 1AM. We live in southeast Kentucky. I was lying in bed scrolling on my phone when I got a call from him. I didn’t think anything of it, assuming he was calling because he was bored on his drive home or something. I answered kind of half asleep when he told me he just saw something terrifying and he didn’t know what to do.

He said, “Listen, I know this sounds insane and I can’t tell anyone else because no one will believe me, but I’m scared.”

You should know that my boyfriend does not get scared often. He’s rational, he views everything with statistics and science. He doesn’t believe in the paranormal. I thought he was just messing with me, he was trying to scare me or something. I told him to explain what happened.

“I was driving down the interstate and saw this deer, but it wasn’t. It was fucking huge. At first, I thought it was just a really big deer, but as I got closer I realized deer don’t get that big. Elk don’t even get that big.”

It was at this point that I realized he was telling the truth. His voice was shaking and he was talking frantically. I’ve never heard him that scared before. He continued.

“It was hunched over, it looked like a really big man, but it had deer antlers and fur all over it. I thought I was tweaking until I looked in my rearview mirror after I drove past it and it was still there and other cars were swerving away from it.”

That night he didn’t sleep, he kept a loaded gun by his bed and watched the security cameras around his house all night.

Last night we were talking about it again. As he was talking his eyes were darting around, he would check behind us every 30 seconds or so.

He gave me a better description of it: it stood about 8 feet tall, and it looked like a man hunched over with his hands on the ground. It had a human face and massive deer antlers. Standing upright it probably would’ve been about 12 feet tall. It was covered in fur and stood deer-like. It was standing on the side of the interstate just watching the cars go by.

Here is where things get wild.

His house is about a mile from the interstate, with some woods separating them. He’s explored these woods before. He was telling me about a bridge in the woods that he’d explored before, and it shouldn’t technically be there. Every bridge in the state of Kentucky is registered with a serial number. This one wasn’t. He described it like it looked brand new. There was no rust, the stone and metal were pristine, and there was no graffiti. Under the bridge, there was a tunnel. This tunnel would logically be a drainage tunnel, but it was always bone dry. He doesn’t know how long it is, but he knows it is at least 2 miles long.

He said it has been a couple of years since he’s been there and he doesn’t want to go back. He thinks that the thing he saw is from there. He said bridges are supposed to be registered but it isn’t in the Kentucky registry. Everything about the bridge is just wrong, and something about it reminded him of the thing he saw on the interstate.

He told me there’s only been one other experience in his life that was like this one. It was right when he turned 17 and he was out alone hunting in the woods. If you’ve never been hunting before, you can see the woods wake up around you. As the sun rises the birds wake up, the squirrels come out and run around, and the deer come out for dinner (since they’re nocturnal). He told me this time, that nothing was there. The birds weren’t chirping, there was nothing in sight. The leaves were still, there was no wind, and everything was dead silent except the sound of his own breath. It was around noon and he decided something was off and left to go home. He told me he didn’t think much of it then, but now it genuinely scares him to think of that day.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? I don’t know if It was a Wendigo or someone pulling a prank, but I know I’ve never heard my boyfriend sound like that before. I believe him, I believe there was something there that night that is unexplainable, and I need someone to confirm we aren’t crazy. I need some sort of explanation." L

After I made an inquiry, I received this update from the writer:

"I’m starting to believe what he saw was a Not-Deer. We talked about it and I was telling him what a Not-Deer was, and he said that could be it. For those who believed it could’ve been a person pulling a prank or a person in a costume, it was 28° at 1AM.

At the moment I am not able to go out to the bridge. I am dealing with a lot in my personal life that is making it difficult to get out of the house at all. At some point I will check the bridge out, sadly it won’t be as soon as you all hoped for and I’m sorry." L

JERSEY DEVIL? Teen Claims Encounter While Camping in the Pine Barrens!

A New Jersey teen girl is RVing with her father in the Pine Barrens. That first night, during a storm, the witness claims that a horse-headed entity was looking through the RV window.

I received the following account:

"I'm a Jersey native, born and raised and I was about 14 when my entire family went camping in the Pine Barrens. Ever since I was little I've been into occult stuff so I already knew about the Jersey Devil. I was one of the oldest cousins so I can't tell you how many times we searched for the cabin that it was born in. Also, I should mention we used to go camping there all the time, less and less as we got older but the point is we did this often.

So, I remember it being the first night (we on average would spend a week) and I remember we watched the movie Coraline that had just come out. I'm mentioning this because I had a pretty fun night before I encountered it, so it wasn't a nightmare-induced hallucination or anything. So, another fact is that my family didn't like to actually camp, we had RVs. So it's just my dad and I in our camper and it had one bed in the back, and I slept on the couch that pulled out to be another bed. My dad closed all the blinds we had and I was next to the biggest window in the camper.

I'm asleep and happy and then boom, I wake up from thunder and lightning. I remember not liking how loud it was and not being able to go back to sleep. So, I'm just laying there listening to the storm which must have been right above us cause the lightning was frequent. Okay so now this is where I think I'm hearing something, footsteps. I thought I did, then I was like maybe it's just an animal. But they started off quiet, and of course, got louder and louder. And closer. I'm still really not thinking anything yet, I mean I was still freaked out, but again I was certain it was just the storm. In a matter of seconds, it was like, 'Uh oh!'. Not the storm. Mind you, I'm facing the window up against the wall so I could look up the blinds a see a tiny bit of outside. This is important info because that's when this 'thing' came up to the window.

So, I'm barely breathing because in my head I'm like what the hell just stomped up to our RV? Again, this all happened very fast and the lightning strikes, boom. It looks like a horse is looking into the RV. Honestly, typing this, I can still hear it breathing on the glass. I only saw a little of the bottom of its chin I guess? This might of been my imagination but I'm pretty sure I saw what looked like fangs and once that lighting struck I spun around so I wasn't facing the window anymore. I regretted moving at all and at this point, I'm holding my breath begging that whatever is out there didn't see me just now.

So, lightning strikes again and I see its shadow, almost as if lightning was striking directly behind it. It looked like a horse. Definitely had the same size head as a horse but the top half seemed to resemble a goat? It looked like it had spiral horns or at least something that made the top of its head look weird. Also please remember I was only seeing what I could from lightning striking.

It starts to make its way towards the front of the RV and like I said, all our blinds are shut so as soon as I heard those loud ass footsteps making their way towards the front I basically jumped from my bed into my dad's. I laid down behind him and didn't want to make too much movement but I was shaking him and trying to get him up. He said something like, "Just go back to bed." He knew I wasn't a fan of storms so that was probably his first, still half-asleep thought. Just to paint a clearer picture I'm up against the wall behind my dad. There's a window in front of him and one at the top of our heads.

The footsteps came around again and since I was behind my big dad, when the lighting stuck I could only see the weird top part of its head (the ears and the horns, I guess). Anyway, it was there. Looking in. Like I said I can still hear that heavy breathing because it was terrifying. The most confusing thing is that when it left and headed towards my aunt's campgrounds, so was the storm. In the beginning, when I initially woke up from the storm I guess it must've been close. I guess (in my theory) maybe since this thing was so loud with its hooves and breathing, that's what it does. Creates a storm so it can still be stealthy.

I've dealt with people who have led survival camps and have spent years in the Pine Barrens with no signs whatsoever but that's what is so intriguing in my opinion. I mean, it is an entity. It could probably make a storm if it wanted to. So as it left the storm calmed down and I finally got back to sleep.

In the morning, of course, my dad and aunt didn't believe me, and going outside that morning the ground was semi-wet but I remember there being no footprints. I mean, if this was some sort of nasty horse walking around, it would have to be at least 8 feet tall to look in the window like that. Unless it was standing on its back legs.

That was my big argument with my aunt and dad on why there was no way it was a horse. I live in Jersey City now but I'll never forget that camping trip. It happened so fast but takes forever to tell. I've always wanted to share my story, but was reluctant." A
