Scary 'Skinwalker' Encounters in Arizona & Utah

2 harrowing Skinwalker encounter reports, one on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and the other in southern Utah. Very scary accounts!

I recently came across the following account:

"I was a kid when this happened. My uncle and I were finishing up chopping/gathering firewood for my grandmother because it was getting dark. This was on the Navajo Rez here in Arizona. Driving back on a dirt road at about 30 mph I had this awful sense of being watched. Before I could turn to look out my window (passenger side) my uncle quickly shouted, "Don't!" I completely froze. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest then completely stopped when I heard a 'tap tap' on my window. My uncle sped up and was loudly praying in my native language. I didn't know what was going on and thought it was over until our truck suddenly dipped from the bed. My uncle then started saying, "Look at me" and "Don't turn away" over and over. Then I heard it again, 'tap tap' but from the window behind me. It was getting harder for me to breathe and I wanted to cry.

A minute or two passed and the truck dipped again. My uncle looked around and sighed. It was quiet besides the truck and the road. He looked at me and said, "We will ask your father to do a prayer in the morning. So the evil will forget our faces." (Navajo to English equivalent). I remember curling up on the seat and just staring at the radio watching the time, listening to my uncle sing an old prayer till we got to my grandmother's house.

I later called my uncle because I had a nightmare about that night. We talked about it for a bit. He said, “I didn’t see faces. Just eyes. Like brake lights you see on the road. It watched you.” (Navajo to English equivalent) Before hanging up I tried joking with him about it. "Why didn’t you just step on the brake when it was in the back?" No laughter. Just a pause. “Because it wasn’t alone.” NJ

"Before I tell my story, I will summarize what a skinwalker is to those that may not know. A skinwalker is a being that uses witchcraft, kills an animal and uses the skin as a disguise. It is mainly active at night but will observe during the day. It's favorite disguise is that of a regular human. A skinwalker's most noticeable traits are yellow glowing eyes and decaying flesh.

Anyway, I was heading to a small town in southern Utah with my wife and a couple of friends. We were on our way to see Lee, a friend of mine that we hadn't seen for a long time. We met up with him at his place and decided to hang out at a nearby lake. It was a typical quiet campsite with a fire pit and a couple of logs around it. We had a little picnic there and were exchanging stories and catching up with each other all day. Eventually, one of my friends, Bryce, got tired and decided to fall asleep in the car while the rest of us continued talking. At this point, twilight had fallen. Erika and I were discussing something while my wife and Lee were talking about something else.

All of the sudden, my wife and Lee fall silent. Erika and I quickly notice. We look at them and Lee says, "Get in the car!" I asked him, "What's wrong?" And he says, "There might be a skinwalker out around." Now Erika and I had no idea what a skinwalker was at the time so we asked him to explain. After his explanation of what it was, Erika and I, being the only sensible thinkers at the moment and, Bryce just barely waking up from us jumping in the car, decide we should investigate, believing that it was probably just some kids in a nearby campsite trying to mess with us. We came to the top of the hill that was between our campsite and the next and looked for any likely candidates for the scare. None. All we could see was a couple of trees and some bushes. We even called out and there was no response.

As we were walking back to the campsite, we hear noises. A rustling in the bushes behind us. We look again but see nothing. At this point we were considering that Lee and my wife may be right. We get back and it's getting dark fast so I ask them, "Is there something we can do to keep them away for a little bit?" "Yes." Said Lee. "They don't like fire." And him, my wife, and Bryce start working on a fire while me and Erika go down by the lake to collect the 2 liters we had put in the water to keep cold.

Now it's dark, and as Erika and I head back with the sodas, we hear rustling in the bushes beside us. We're both scared. We hurry back and start putting everything back in the car as quickly as possible while Lee made sure the fire kept burning. After getting everything in the car, I rush over to the fire pit and tell everyone to get in the car as I proceed to stomp the fire out. Right as the fire went out, I hear a blood-curdling scream from across the lake. I felt my heart stop. Lee had said skinwalkers are fast and could make a full lap around this lake in a matter of seconds. I jump in the car and yell "GO!"

Right as the engine started and the lights come on, we see it coming out of the bushes in front of us. Glowing yellow eyes and what looked like a zombified coyote with decaying flesh. We backed up and peeled out of there as fast as we could.

This happened two years ago and it still scares me to know how close I came to death. I am honestly amazed that we all survived such a close encounter with this...thing." I9

NOTE: Some Navajo refer to these entities as 'yee naaldlooshii' or Hellhounds. This may not necessarily be a Skinwalker, but I do believe the term is used interchangeably. Lon

Can a 'Rake' Humanoid Attach Its Energy to Someone?

A Canadian woman only witnessed a pale humanoid when in the presence of her Swedish ex-boyfriend. Since then, the same entity has again manifested around the ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.

I recently came across the following account:

"In 2012 my (then) boyfriend lived in Sweden. I live in Canada. He came to visit me and during one of the evenings I woke up to something strange perched at the foot of the bed. It was a pale, thin humanoid figure. It was completely hairless, and the legs seemed to be bowed in some way. It seemed to walk on all fours despite looking human. I couldn't see much of its face since it was looking away from me. It looked a lot like the creature from the fictional story "The Rake." When I gasped, it hopped off the bed and into the darkness. My partner heard me and woke to ask me what was wrong. I didn't tell him as to not alarm him while trying to rest.

In 2014, he was visiting once more and we were once again, in bed sleeping. I woke up to hear my boyfriend SCREAMING like I've never heard before. I immediately turned on the light and shook him to try and snap him out of it but he just screamed and then cried. After 30 or so minutes he finally was calm enough to explain what happened. Apparently he woke up to a pale, humanoid figure with a gaping mouth and black, sunken eyes basically on top of him. As he screamed the figure slowly backed itself into the closet whole staring at him, crawling on all fours. I felt sick. I never ever told him about what I saw a few years prior. There's no way he could've known and described what I saw perfectly like that.

Now...It's shown up again. My ex messaged me today (we're friends) and told me his now girlfriend has seen the pale "man." They were asleep and apparently she woke up to see this thing stalking around the room and it noticed her frozen in fear, so it crawled up next to her. My ex woke up and tried to console her. She described what she saw, it apparently was a perfect exact match to the thing we both saw. I only ever told him what I saw after his experience, and she has never heard of either of our experiences.

Is this just a mass coincidence of hallucinating while waking up? Is it a demon or some sort of haunting? I'm really freaked out." SH

Stan Gordon: Recent UFO Reports From Westmoreland & Fayette Counties, PA

The following reports were forwarded to me by Pennsylvania UFO & anomalies investigator Stan Gordon:

Large Spherical Object Moves Low Over Witness Near Irwin, PA-July 11, 2020

The evening of July 11, 2020 was nice and comfortable and the sky was clear so a man decided to take his dog for a walk. The man lived in the Irwin area only a few miles from the Turnpike. Suddenly the witness heard the sound of multiple dogs barking loudly and running down the street where he lived. This was unusual. The situation was odd enough that the man took his dog back home, grabbed a flashlight and walked out to the backyard then moved toward the front of the house.

He could still hear numerous dogs barking from around the area. He stood on the street for about a minute trying to figure out where the dogs were located. He walked up the street a short distance and happened to look up into the sky in the northwest. That is when he noticed a circular object that seemed quite large, that appeared to be rising from the ground about a mile away. The object was glowing red and bright enough to make out the spherical shape.

The object traveled toward the east then turned southeast in his direction and moved steadily while maintaining the same altitude. The object was now only about 5-6 houses away from where he was standing and only about 200 feet off the ground. The object whatever it was remained completely silent while under observation. The witness didn’t have his phone with him to take a picture.

The witness described the object as circular or egg shape. It was about 20-30 feet in diameter the size of a small house. There was a pulsating red glow emitting from the object with a rhythm similar to that of a heartbeat. While the object had a definite shape it appeared to be semi-transparent. One section of the object appeared to be a darker color than the others. There were, also what appeared to be circuit board lines going through some sections of the object as well.

The object was just about to move over the head of the man when he was distracted by the loud barking of more dogs running near him on the street. He was concerned that they might bite him and he was focusing on them. He was about 40 feet from his home and could hear his dogs barking as well. Seconds later the barking suddenly stopped and there was the sound of silence. Seconds later he looked back to the object which now was positioned directly above him but it was now about 1,000 feet in altitude.

The object moved from his property and over his neighbor’s moving toward the east. He ran behind his house to see where the object was going but his vision was blocked by the trees in that area.

Addendum:

There have been numerous UFO encounters reported for years throughout the Irwin and North Huntingdon areas.

This sighting is among a number of other UFO sightings that have been reported in recent weeks from this area of the state and elsewhere. Stan Gordon

UFOs That Enter Clouds But Don’t Exit

In late June 2020, a man taking photographs of the beautiful sunset observed something odd in the sky that still has him baffled. The sighting took place in a rural location not far from Murrysville, Pennsylvania. The witness was looking north when he noticed what seemed to be a jet airliner that suddenly appeared. The man grabbed his camera thinking that the jet with the sunset would make a nice picture.

As the man continued to watch, he realized that the shape of the jet looked unusual. He then realized that he was looking at two separate dark objects that were flying very close, but not at a level altitude. The object in front appeared to be slightly higher than the second object. The objects looked like two cylinders, similar to a fuselage with no wings that were dark, offset and silent.

The second object had what looked like a vertical tower or tail section on it. There were no navigational lights on either object and no sound was heard while the objects were being observed. The objects were only seen for several seconds before the objects entered the tip of a slender long cloud.

The photographer grabbed his 35mm camera to have it ready to take a picture of the objects when they exited the cloud. He stood there watching for 20 minutes but the objects were never seen again. The cloud eventually faded away.

While the man continued to watch the sky he called a friend who searched the FlightAware App to locate what aircraft were in the area. He found no indication of any aircraft having been in that area during the past hour.

Addendum:

In more recent years, I have received information concerning several other detailed observations of UFOs that entered clouds but never came back out. The following are some interesting cases.

Huge Flying Box Observed in Butler County Over The Allegheny River-April 21, 2015

Two people traveling in their vehicle observed something very strange on the morning of April 21, 2015. The couple was traveling between Parker and East Brady around 10:30 or 11 AM, when they saw a flash of light in the sky. The viewing conditions were partly cloudy, with some dark thick clouds scattered about in many parts of the sky. The flash was apparently the sun reflecting for a moment off the surface of a very large solid object. The couple pulled their car over to take a better look. The strange flying thing appeared to be in the distance over the Allegheny River.

The object was positioned near a large dark cloud and was described as similar to a” flying box”. The rectangular object looked solid black and seemed to have 4 rows of windows or indentations on its surface. One witness said the object was huge and he estimated that it was 7500-10,000 feet in altitude.

As the couple watched, the small building sized craft slowly moved inside a large dark cloud. The man in the car grabbed a camera and had it focused to take a picture of the object when it exited the cloud that it had entered. They waited 45 minutes but the object was never seen again. They couldn’t understand how something that large could have been lost from sight.

Four Black Spheres Enter Cloud in Fayette County-August 15, 2019

A witness told researcher Jim Brown what he had observed near Markleysburg at around 4:30 PM. What caught his attention was what he described as a large black ball that came out of the northwest and flew into a puffy white cloud. He noticed that was the only cloud in the sky at the time. He called his wife to come out so he could tell her what he saw. Both were on the porch looking at the cloud.

About 5 minutes later they saw two more black balls appear that came from different directions and flew into the same cloud and also never came out. His wife went into the house to get a camera and while she was gone a fourth object came out of the west and entered the cloud. This one was larger than the other ones. It had four spikes sticking out of each side. Almost as soon as it entered, the cloud turned a slightly yellow color then seemed to just “wash itself out of the sky”. Jersey Devil-Like Winged Cryptid Observed Near Somerset on PA Turnpike

An eyewitness encounters, what he describes as, a winged cryptid that closely resembled the Jersey Devil while driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Somerset.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"About 10 yrs ago I was driving the Pennsylvania Turnpike coming home from a funeral in Ohio. I live in the suburbs of Washington, DC. It was late, probably 1130 or 1200 and I saw something hanging off of an overpass. At first I thought it was just a box or something that got stuck but then it opened up. What I thought was a box was actually a pair of wings. Inside these wings was the craziest thing I've ever seen. It looked like a deer's or maybe a large greyhound's body but the face was so long and wide, almost like a horse got stung by a boatload of bees. But the thing that stood out most and sends a shiver down my spine even now, were the eyes. At first I couldn't see the eyes but when my headlights hit it, the eyeshine was fire engine red. I saw all this in just about 20 seconds as I approached the overpass. As soon as my brain registered what I was seeing I floored it.

I was in 1997 v8 Thunderbird so the pickup left nothing to be desired. I was scared, I hit 100+ mph before the car started shaking and I slowed down a bit. I watched my rear view to see if this thing was chasing me but either it couldn't keep up or it didn't bother chasing me.

A few weeks later I saw the Monsterquest episode on the Jersey Devil and I started having flashbacks when they showed the sculpture of what had been described to the artist. It was pretty damn close. I still refuse to drive the Pennsylvania Turnpike at night, and we travel that stretch every year. I'll stay an extra day and face traffic just to avoid night driving on that road." MH

NOTE: The area around Somerset exit on the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) has a history of strange activity, including the following account from November 1994:

"Thank you for reading this email. Please leave my name and email address out if you decide to use the information.

I have been closely following the possible Bigfoot shooting story in Somerset County, PA since Weds. I know that Bigfoot exist and that they inhabit Somerset County, PA. In late November of 1994, my wife and I were traveling from New Jersey west on the PA. Turnpike. We were on our way to Steubenville, OH to stay with my wife's brother and his wife for Thanksgiving.

At around 9:30 PM we were near the town of Somerset, PA, so I decided pull off the highway to stop and get gas. The station was near the exit so I quickly filled the tank and headed back towards the turnpike. I was merging back onto the highway when my wife gasped - I saw it as well. My headlights had caught a glimpse of a huge hairy creature walking onto the highway on my front right (north side of westbound lane). I swerved to the left in order to avoid hitting it. There was another similar creature as well, just a few feet behind it. As I passed the creature it must have reached out and slammed it's hand on the trunk - we heard a loud thud. I looked back in the rear view mirror and noticed brake lights coming from the eastbound lane. I assume it was crossing the highway to the south side. I knew that it was definitely a Bigfoot - I had no doubt what it was.

I continued to drive without stopping. Then I thought that I had better stop and make sure the tail light was not damaged. I didn't want a trooper stopping me with a broken tail light and then try to tell him a Bigfoot did it. But then again, if it was broke what was I going to do that late at night? Anyway - I pulled onto the shoulder, grabbed my flashlight and got out of the car. I walked back to the trunk and looked around. I then noticed a slight indentation on the rear passenger side quarter panel. I looked closer and noticed that there were scratch marks on the surface. I wondered if the Bigfoot had been holding something or that its fingernails had caused the scratches. I got back in the car and resumed driving.

The Bigfoot was dark brown and had very long rough hair. I didn't get a good look at the face since the hair almost seemed to cover most of it. My wife and I both estimated that this creature was at least 8 foot tall and had massive long arms and legs. We barely caught a glimpse at the other Bigfoot, but it seemed to be much smaller in height.

I grew up on a farm near Monticello, NY. My brother and I had heard the stories about a man-beast that lived in the vicinity of a nearby lake. We never believed these tales - until my brother had an encounter with a large hairy man while camping with is friends in the Catskills. He never talked about the incident in detail, only that he was shocked by it. It's a shame because he never went into the woods again. I really didn't want to believe him but I knew deep down that something significant had happened to him.

So when I told him about our encounter he just smiled and said 'I told you so." MC

Bigfoot Encounters: Violently Shaking Tree / Blocking Path on Appalachian Trail

2 different Bigfoot encounters by witnesses in Washington and Georgia. A Bigfoot observed violently shaking a tree and then a Lemur-faced Sasquatch blocking the path along the Appalachian Trail.

I recently came across the following accounts:

"Was looking at mountains on Peakbagger mid-August. Decided to climb a rather large mountain near Springer, Georgia, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. To get to said mountain, you have to take an approach trail, and then start bushwhacking into the woods for about an hour. Time was about 7 am, light rain, and I'm half asleep after sleeping in the wooden shelter all night barely getting a wink. The forest floor is soaking wet. I'm trying to conserve energy by following a game trail as it gets steeper and thicker.

About halfway up, I see but do not register something whitish grey looking at me from between two trees, out of the corner of my eye about 40 feet away. I look down, watching my step, look up, and see an adult Sasquatch blocking my path directly in front of me. To give you an estimate of the size, the buckberry was chest high and I am 6 feet 4" tall. Same vegetation, 20 feet away. It came up to his mid thigh. Face reminded me of a lemur, it was quite different from what you may expect. I looked him right in the eye, confused. He bolted to my right very quick and silently before I finished taking another step to stop. Disappeared into the early morning fog." TC

"I was at an old camping spot with my mom in Mason County, Washington. There is a lake there where people like to party. There is a big cleared out area for parking on the lake. The other side of the lake it densely wooded with tall skinny trees. The bottom half of the trees are bare. After hanging out the night before and meeting people, my mom and I made a bed in the back of her truck. People often stay there overnight to avoid drinking and driving. There was probably 6 people in total staying in the cleared area overnight.

I woke up at the break of dawn to relieve myself. I was the only on up. After doing my business I noticed some noise from the other side of the lake. There is nothing on that side besides an old abandoned kids camp and very thick woods. I immediately recognized the sound as wood knocking. I sat on the bank of the lake and watched and listened for awhile. More wood knocks. Then woops. Then faint screeching/yelling. One of the huge trees started shaking violently. I looked down to the bottom of the tree and there he was. A dark little figure freaking out. He seemed pissed. Jumping up and down, running back and forth shaking trees. Hootin and hollerin. Did he know that I was watching him? I don't know. But I knew what it was. This was back in the day when I had a crappy flip phone that only took potato pictures. So I knew it was useless. If I could barely see him I knew the phone wouldn't.

I sat watching him for awhile. Then I got scared. He was so pissed off that I was there presumably. Nothing was stopping him from walking around the lake to my location. So I went back to the truck and this time I laid back down in the cab instead of the bed with my mom. With a blanket over my head hoping someone else would be awake soon. I didn't tell my mom. In fact I had grown up in that area and played in those woods my whole childhood and never had any experiences. Not until I moved to the other side of the sound when I was older did I start having encounters." EU

Bizarre Winged Cryptids 'Nest' Observed on Trempealeau Mountain, Wisconsin

The witness describes a fanciful and curious account of encountering a nest / family of huge moth-like beings on Trempealeau Mountain, Wisconsin. Is it factual? I have no idea.

I referred to an interesting account by the witness 'RB' Is it real? I'll leave it up to you:

"First I must explain that the whole terrifying experience had been suppressed from my memory for over 30 years. I just plain did not remember any of it. I truly believe that my mind could not accept what I had actually seen. My memory was awakened by a television program called “Monster Quest.” The program was about Mothman sightings in the United States. It took several months before all the awful events of that night in June 1975 had filtered through my memory. The following is a full and true account of the experience as I remember it.

I had been out walking along the railroad tracks that ran along the Mississippi River near Trempealeau Mountain, Wisconsin. My car was parked nearby, and I was returning to it. It was dusk and the sun had already set over the Minnesota bluffs across the river. The air was hot and sultry and I could still see pretty well yet. As I walked along, I heard a loud flap, flap, flap coming from somewhere up on the mountain. It was a very unusual sound, and since I had nothing better to do, I decided to investigate. Climbing up the mountain became very difficult after it became dark, and it took me over an hour before I arrived at the top. At last I came to a small clearing in the trees and brush. By this time the full moon had risen, and I could see very well.

I saw a large nest in the middle of the clearing with what looked like four or five moth-like baby birds in it. But the most amazing thing was the very large moth-like creature who was flapping his wings. The sound of his flapping had covered my approach, and he did not see me hidden in the bushes nearby. I think it was flapping his wings to keep the babies cool since the night air was quite warm.

Right in front of me, and between the nest and me, was a large pile of what appeared to be chicken bones, feathers, and dog and cat bones. The pile stunk bad, and combined with all the feces around the nest, it made it REAL bad.

I watched the scene for about a half-hour, and was getting ready to leave, when I heard a scream from somewhere high in the sky. The scream became much louder and seemed to be coming closer. All of a sudden I heard crashing in the trees, breaking branches, and a loud THUD. Then everything became completely quiet.

The Mothman had stopped his flapping, was listening, and appeared very nervous and scared. Since it was so quiet, I was afraid to move, so I remained well-hidden. After an hour or so, I heard sounds of a heavy body crashing through the brush. There were broken branches and heavy footsteps. The thrashing sounds came from about where the thud was heard, and was heading toward the nest. The Mothman on the nest became even more nervous and quickly flew away.

Then a very large and scary-looking Mothman female crashed into the clearing. She was dragging a dead human body by one leg. Then she threw the body onto the chicken bone pile, and headed for the babies in the nest. The Mothman babies made clicking sounds and acted glad to see her. This Mothman female was a very scary sight. She must have weighed 300 to 400 pounds, with large claws and muscles. Her wings were kind of torn from the crash, but otherwise she seemed okay. I was very scared, and didn’t know what to do, since I couldn’t leave because she would hear me and might kill me.

After some time playing with the babies, she laid down on the ground and went to sleep. I could hear the loud snoring sounds that she made. I was just getting ready to leave again when the body on top of the bone pile started to groan and stir. He wasn’t dead, but appeared to have been knocked out. I think she thought he was dead, and was going to eat him after he had ripened up.

The appearance of this person was very odd. He was wearing a t-shirt, an afro wig, fishnet pantyhose, and high-heeled boots. His lips appeared to have been plumped with silicone. On the front of his t-shirt was printed “GAY PRIDE” and “SAN FRANCISCO.” On the back it said “JUAN’S COMFORT LOUNGE AND ESCORT SERVICE.” He got up and wobbled around in circles for a while, and then staggered away down the hill. After he left, and since the female Mothman was still snoring away, I figured now was the time to get away.

I then crawled back down the mountain to the railroad tracks. I was heading back to my car in the parking lot, when I saw the dad Mothman perched up on a 30 foot high railroad signal tower. Just then he released a large bowel movement which fell onto the tracks. The whole performance was accompanied by loud gas explosions and grunts. The smell was pretty bad.

Then he flew away across the river, and climbed up in the sky toward the moon. This is the last time that I saw him.

Then I ran down the tracks to my car, locked all the doors, and drove away fast." RB

Bigfoot Encounter Shocks Driver Near Big Lake, Arizona

An Arizona resident encounters a Bigfoot while driving home from the Big Lake Recreation Area. He is startled by the size of this creature, questioning if what he observed was real.

I received a telephone call today from the witness 'AB' who had an encounter with a large Bigfoot the night before.

On July 14, 2020 at approximately 11:30 pm local time, AB was traveling in his off-road Jeep with his full high beams on. He was driving along Forest Road 249 from the Big Lake Recreation Area (Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests) toward his home in Springerville in east central Arizona. This area has ponderosa pines, smaller evergreens and spindly aspens that dominate the roadside as you wind your way into the forest. He was driving at a moderate speed since you always had to be on the lookout for elk running onto the road. He had spent the day with several of his friends at Big Lake, but did not indulge in drink since he knew he had to drive back home that night.

AB is a military veteran with several tours of duty. He has been in the outdoors all his life and knew this area well. At least, that is what he thought.

He was driving towards home, just a few miles out of Big Lake. He had his drivers side window wide open and was playing music fairly loud. Suddenly, a large bipedal creature steps out onto the roadway and stops about 100 feet or so, facing AB. The lights of the Jeep fully illuminate the creature, as AB can hardly believe his eyes. The biped was 7 1/2-8 foot in height, very broad and muscular with dark brown hair covering the entire body. The hair was quite long from the head and draped over the face. It stood there for about 10 seconds or so, then quickly took off towards the aspen trees that lined the road. AB was amazed at the speed of this creature, which he estimates was anywhere from 400-450 lbs.

AB didn't want anything to do with this creature and hit the gas. By then he noticed a pungent odor which he described as a mix of sulphur, skunk and deep musk. The music was now off, and he heard a high pitched wailing that seemed to get louder. He was afraid that the creature was heading back in his direction. He accelerated and continued towards home.

AB called me this morning after spending the remainder of the previous night wondering what he had seen. He was very nervous and questioned me about the possibility of a Bigfoot in his area. I assured him that he was in an area that has a history of Bigfoot encounters. Now he wonders if he should ever go into the wilderness again. He was totally terrified by the beast.

NOTE: I believe AB had interfered with the Bigfoot while it was hunting. This area is loaded with game. BTW, this is the general area where Travis Walton had his UFO close encounter and abduction. Lon

Flying Humanoid ('Jeepers Creepers') Observed Twice in South Jersey

2 accounts of similar flying humanoids seen by different witnesses at different locations in southern New Jersey. The description was a familiar one, reminding the witnesses of the 'Jeepers Creepers' film character.

These reports were submitted in July 2015. Was this flying humanoid seen at two different times by different people?:

"I came across your site looking for answers of what my daughter and I seen in the sky and there are similar stories to ours. I am from Cherry Hill, NJ and approximately two years ago to this day my daughter and I were riding our bikes. It was bright that night due to a full moon. Not many clouds in the sky but a few that would once in a while make the night darker.

We stopped by a friend's house. Her and her two daughters came out and we were all just talking. I happened to look up in the sky and there's this flying long human shaped thing with a wing span approx 7-8 feet wide. It reminded me of the movie 'Jeepers Creepers.' My mouth just kind of opened and I was speechless and pointing as it went behind the cloud near the moon. I told them what I had just witnessed. Everyone kind of giggled and I told them it did not come out of the cloud yet to keep looking. Well to our eyes it appeared again. My daughter just stood there watching it repeating herself 'mom what is that?' I know she had that same hard-to-swallow feeling I did, while my friend's two girls ran inside screaming. We watched as it flapped and soared near the moon till it disappeared into the clouds again and never came out.

I know what I had seen that night, but wouldn't know what to call it except a flying human-like creature. An experience I would never take back and when I hear others, I really want to believe they had seen the same thing I had. My daughter to this day (now 14) feels there is so much out there we really don't know much about. What is myth and what is real? A night we will never forget and keeping herself busy researching the Jersey Devil to Mothman and Slenderman. It's out there!" S7

NOTE: Because of the distance, the wingspan could have easily surpassed 7-8 ft. Very interesting multiple witness sighting. The description of the being was similar to the 'Night Stalker' from The 'Night Stalker': Terrible Being Torments Family. The witnesses in that incident also referred to the character in 'Jeepers Creepers.' Lon

I received the following information in response to the account above:

"Lon, I lived approximately one hour outside of Cherry Hill, NJ and while on my way to my now wife's home to visit as the sun was just going down, my best friend at the time was driving as we were all going to hang out. I was listening to music and looking out the passenger side window just enjoying the woodlands as I like to do often. As we approached an opening on the side of the road for the power line towers I seen a lanky-humanoid-looking creature with huge black wings flying up into the clearing.

The event shocked both myself and my best friend at the time who was driving so much that we decided to turn around and try to get an even better look at it. By the time we had returned to that spot however there was no sight of it. He and I have never really spoken about this with anyone for fear of ridicule, but the instant I saw this on your site, I felt I needed to give that mother and daughter a piece of mind. They aren't crazy, and I know what I have seen. I have lived in the woods of NJ almost my entire life, and have seen almost all of the natural wildlife that occurs within it and this was not one of them. Here is the google-maps-street-view of approx where this happened (Landis Ave. in Buena Vista Township, New Jersey)

The sun was just going down so there was still some light shining down in this area. Very bizarre creature, whatever it was." SS

Red Eyed Winged Humanoid 'Feigned Attack' During Encounter at O'Hare International Airport

2 female employees were leaving their jobs at 2300 at O'Hare International Airport when they noticed a large winged being flying overhead in the parking lot. When it landed in front of the pair, it feigned an attack that stunned the women.

Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team investigator Manuel Navarette posted the following on his UFO Clearinghouse site:

"I had just gotten off of work (Fed-Ex facility on June 30, 2020) and was walking with my friend toward the parking lot to go home. As we walked we saw something fly over us, at first it looked like a huge owl but it was solid black.

The thing flew over us and then landed by the edge of the parking lot and was just standing here. We again thought it was an owl until this son of a bitch stood up and was standing about 7 feet tall. My friend shrieked and that’s when this (redacted for language) turned around we saw two glowing red eyes that looked like it belonged to the devil himself.

That’s when we both screamed and this demon spread his wings out and lunged at us while screeching at us. It sounded like a bunch of little girls all screaming at once and was the scariest thing I have ever heard. We ran for my car and this thing acted like it wanted to come after us as we ran to the car. It took a step in our direction before it took off into the air and was out of sight in about 3 seconds,

We could still hear it screeching as it flew off into the night sky. I can tell you that I never felt so scared and all but pissed myself from fright. I thanked the Lord for watching over us and not letting that thing attack us or drag us off to Hell."

Investigator's Notes:

I was able to secure a phone interview with one of the witnesses. The second party in this sighting refused to speak with me, she emailed me saying she was too shaken up and has elected to not participate in the investigation. The second witness did state in her email that she has had repeated nightmares about the entity seen and she felt that it had a demonic presence to it and therefore did not want any further involvement in this case.

The first witness is the one who filed the initial report and reluctantly agreed to a brief phone interview and refused a face to face meeting with the investigator. I asked the witness to walk me through the incident reported and she advised that she and the second witness have been lifelong friends and had attended high school together. They have been working together for about 4 years now and both also attend the same church. They left work at approximately 2300 and were walking toward her car when they heard and saw the entity fly overhead, she said the entity was approximately 20-30 feet overhead. They were able to make it out due to the street lights that illuminated the parking lot. They stated that they saw it land on the edge of the parking lot and it stood there looking at them and then stood up to a height of about 7 feet tall and spread its wings out.

The witness says they screamed and the entity appeared to lunge at them and emit a shriek that the witness described as sounding like little girls screaming all at once. When asked if the entity took a step toward them when it lunged at them, the witness stated that the entity only extended it’s upper body toward them and did not step toward them. They stated that the entity did eventually take a step toward their general direction as they ran for their car but then took flight and was gone within a few seconds. The witness says they heard it shriek one last time and then silence. When asked to describe the creature, the witness became very hesitant and said that she had to leave.

The investigator tried to reassure her that she was safe and that she could remain anonymous if she wished. The witness did say that she felt as if the creature was a demon and sent by the devil to test her faith but that she did not feel comfortable talking to the investigator about the incident anymore. The investigator then thanked the witness and terminated the phone interview as per the witnessed request.

The investigator is unable to make any substantial conclusions since one witness refused to speak to investigators other than a brief statement and the other witness concluded the interview prematurely due to feeling uncomfortable about going into detail as to her sighting. It was apparent that both witnesses appear to be genuinely frightened by this encounter but without any further details to corroborate the sighting the investigator has no other choice but to label the investigation as inconclusive pending further details.

NOTE: The reaction and subsequent fear of reporting this encounter is fairly consistent with many of the previous sightings.

Small Hairy Hominids Observed by Fossil Hunters in West Texas Flatlands

A man and his daughter were fossil hunting in the flatlands east of the Davis Mountains in west Texas, when they encountered 4 small hairy hominids.

I recently received a telephone call from a witness 'RI' who lives in West Texas. He and his daughter had an encounter with 4 small unknown hominids during a recent excursion in the second week of June 2020.

RI and his daughter share a hobby. They enjoy searching for fossils, native arrowheads and other artifacts. This particular day, they were searching an area approximately 4 miles south of Fort Stockton, Texas in the flatlands adjacent to the Davis Mountains.

They had been out for a few hours when his daughter mentioned that 'something was following them.' RI turned around and he noticed 4 small upright hair covered beings scattering as he looked in their direction. He was confused as to what these were. He estimated that they were about 150 yards away from them and that they ranged from 2 to 3 foot in height. They had dark fur and reminded him of what people described as Bigfoot, but much smaller.

For about an hour, these beings would gather back into a group and continue to follow RI and his daughter as approximately the same distance. Each time RI turned to look at them, they would quickly scatter and attempt to hide.

RI asked if I thought that he should attempt to capture one of beings. I tried to dissuade him from doing so and recommended that I try to have an investigator in the area talk to him first.

I have contacted an affiliate of the Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research to contact the witness. RI has agreed to take them to the location. Lon
