Pale Gray Humanoid Encountered Near Lakemont, Georgia

A 13 year old boy is at a rifle range cleaning up expended shells. He hears a noise coming from a tree trunk and encounters a pale grayish humanoid.

I came across the following account:

This happened in the summer of 2003 (I was 13) during one of my stays at a YMCA camp in north Georgia (Near Lakemont).

One evening, I was tasked with having to clean up the rifle range away from the camp because the counselors did not do it due to a thunderstorm. I was walking up to the range and heard rustling but did not pay it any mind because we were in the Blue Ridge Mountains (Foothills of the Appalachians). I walked onto the newly built range platform and onto the range to pick up what brass I could find.

After a few minutes I kept hearing a rustling near a tree trunk, shrugged it off and kept picking up the brass and putting it into a container near the firing line. I kept hearing walking but this sounded different, like a person was walking...not like a deer or a normal forest critter. I also heard some odd chattering and assumed it was a fellow camper. I walked to the trail towards the field and realized it was coming from the tree trunk.

I walked towards the tree trunk and saw what looked like a pale gray human-like being rifling through the tree trunks and mumbling which sounded raspy and had an odd cadence to it. I slowly walked towards it and accidentally kicked a pine cone that went through the undergrowth and made a good bit of sound.

The being turned and looked at me. It had dark sunken black eyes and thin lips, a normal looking human nose and patches of hair. But what caught me is that it looked shocked that I was there. We locked eyes and for what felt like an eternity. It walked back bipedally around 10 steps all while maintaining eye contact with me and got on all fours and ran into the forest.

I being 13 was scared sh*tless and ran back to my cabin and told my counselors. We all walked towards the range and looked around. We did find bare feet prints and candy wrappers all over but they chalked it up to my imagination." GG

Pale Crawler Humanoid Encounter in Dewitt County, Texas

A Dewitt County, Texas resident is walking around his town at night, when he suddenly encounters a bizarre pale white crawling humanoid. He believes that the being is stalking him and causing a string of bad luck.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"This encounter took place on January 12th, 2019 in Dewitt County, Texas. To be honest, I chose to go out on this particular night because my town was having a little ghost tour at the local haunted hospital. I was lonely and wanted to at least see others having fun.

It was 8 pm when I left the house and planned to be back within an hour. I have a routine of circling my town in the evening because I just like patrolling and there’s always things creeping about after nightfall. I made my way to the haunted hospital and once I got there I saw flashlights inside the windows and heard laughter. Seeing others have fun made me smile and got rid of some of the loneliness I was feeling. This was the halfway point of my walk and I started my second half heading home now.

There were some woods on the opposite side of town now but nothing impressive until I got to the last quarter of my walk. Now I was passing the baseball field on my left with a large wheat field on my right. This wheat field use to be a large extension of the woods but was cleared out for growing wheat. I continued again and crossed the small bridge that went over a creek and passed another section of woods. I was now headed towards a old metal building that has recently been turned into a place for making gates and fences. It was about 9 pm now.

This building had two small white houses beside it and a stretch of dirt road wrapping around the backside of it before returning to normal asphalt road. Now at night this place seems pretty scary but this was one of my favorite places to hang out at night and is a normal path I take my walks through.

As I was coming up to the dirt road I saw a very tall 8-10 foot pale figure, with lanky arms almost dragging the ground, about 40 feet ahead of me briskly walk from the white houses to the woods. I stopped walking. After a few minutes of standing there I convinced myself to continue walking forward. I mean I was an adventurous person and there’s no way I was just going to turn tail and go home when I just saw something so odd and out of place. Not even 15 seconds into walking forward this sudden heavy sense of dread overcame me like a giant weight crashing down on my shoulders. My instincts were telling me something was really REALLY wrong.

I turned my iPhone light on and shined it at the woods. Nothing. I kept walking while keeping my head on a swivel looking in all directions to keep my surroundings in check. About the fifth or sixth time I looked at the woods I saw it. A huge bleached white humanoid figure crouched on all fours. It was easily still 5-6 feet tall even though it was bent over. It’s black eyes paralyzed me. It had a big round bald head and a extremely emaciated body, void of all hair, with very long almost dislocated looking arms and legs. It’s legs were like a flamingo birds at the knee as it bent backwards instead of forward. I took all this in in a matter of seconds. 

Suddenly it reminded me of a praying mantis when it swayed back and forth while staring as if deciding whether to attack or not. This broke me out of my trance and I ran as fast as I could. I didn’t look back until I had ran a block. Out of breath and scared as heck I finally took a glance back. I didn’t see anything in sight. I didn’t hear it chase me either. Maybe it was just stalking those people in those two little white houses and was waiting for me to go away to go back to it’s business. Maybe it didn’t want anything to do with me. But that wasn’t the end.

I got home, took a shower, and turned out the lights before I hopped in bed when suddenly there was something tapping on my window. “Tap tap tap”. Three taps and nothing else. I laid in my bed that night wondering whether it had followed me home or not.

A string of bad luck ensued afterwards the following weeks. I was constantly burning stuff on the stove that was relatively easy to make and I was a excellent cook on top of that. My dog started going nuts at night growling and barking at night in the living room and at the front door (which she has never ever done as she is the quietest sweetest dog you’ll ever meet). And finally I got deathly sick for three weeks straight with no sure sign of what I had gotten. 103 fever, vomiting with blood, diarrhea with blood, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, migraines, nerve spasms, stuffy and dry nose (it changed constantly), aching all over really especially in my bones, etc. I’ve had smaller strings of bad luck before, after hearing it’s mimicry trying to lure me into the forest or seeing it one other time but I didn’t see any details, but nothing ever this extreme. I don’t go into the woods alone anymore." KN

Recent Bigfoot Sightings / Activity Reported in Northern California and Western New York

2 eyewitnesses have contacted Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research in reference to recent Bigfoot sightings and other activity in Happy Camp, California and Erie County, New York.

I recently received telephone calls from Bigfoot witnesses:

'SJ' from Happy Camp, California called me in reference to an incident that occurred on Tuesday August 18, 2020 at approximately 4 PM local time.

He and a friend were sitting on his front porch when SJ noticed movement in the direction of the pharmacy on Hillside Rd. He was looking towards the turnoff from Klamath River Highway.

He picked up his binocular and witnessed a large black Bigfoot standing on the side of the pharmacy. It then ducked back in the pine trees.

He mentioned what he saw to his friend, who then looked in the same direction. The friend then noticed a Bigfoot running through the adjacent field towards the Klamath River.

This is not the first time that these witnesses have seen a Bigfoot in this area, which is well-known for Bigfoot activity. But the fact that this Bigfoot was out in the open withing Happy Camp during daylight was a bit surprising.

I've been wondering if the Covid-19 lockdown, and less people out and about as a result, may be causing these creatures and other cryptids to be more willing to venture out during the daylight. Lon

'VM' called me in referenced to a recent sighting and continued vocalizations and other sounds around his family owned campground in Erie County, New York. He has asked if we could send investigators to the location.

He had recently seen a 7 1/2 foot Bigfoot with dark reddish brown hair while walking to his mailbox along the road in front of the campground. This was during the afternoon hours. The Bigfoot literally stepped out of the surrounding woods and crossed the road in 3 strides.

His brother, who is an avid hunter, recently stumbled across a possible nest or sleeping area that had recently been used.

VM has been surprised by the uptick in activity, including the increased vocalizations and tree knocking at night. Lon

Large Pale Quadruped Humanoid Encountered in Baldwin County, Alabama

4 friends are driving along an old road at night near Bay Minette in Baldwin County, Alabama when they encounter a large pale quadruped humanoid standing in the middle of the road.

A reader referred me to the following account. I contacted the witness to confirm the incident:

"This incident took place in lower Alabama near Bay Minette when I was in high school, almost 8 years ago, but I still remember every detail like it happened moments ago. 3 friends and I were making the trip to our other friend's house, way out in the boondocks, probably 30 minutes outside of any nearby city or town. There's only one road that takes you to his house and it's just a long strip of old concrete that's in dire need of repair, but considering only a handful of people live out there, why would the state waste their time and money. On both sides of the road, it's just dense forest that creeps to the edge of the road sometimes (hardly no where to pull off) and absolutely no street lights.

We were in my friend's brand new red Mustang that he got for his birthday and he was proud to drive us all around wherever we wanted to go. Jamie was driving, my friend Dave in the passenger seat, and myself and my other friend Mary crammed in the backseat among his giant sound system (no seatbelts, just half standing, half sitting in the floorboards). It was very uncomfortable and the rattling of the music shook my entire body but I was just happy one of us had a vehicle to take us to our buddy's house.

We turned onto the long strip of road that would take us there, and was very disappointed that there was another car not too far ahead of us, which meant Jamie couldn't show off how fast his new car could go. Although there's no crazy turns/curves in the road, it's solid white line the whole way because of the endless hills, making it impossible to pass anyone. We accepted that we'd have to go the speed limit and Jamie finally turned the music down so he could talk sh*t about the tiny red Toyota that we'd be staring at the back of for awhile.

It's about 9 PM and there was no moon visible through the dense clouds, so it was pitch black besides our headlights and the car in front of us with its own lights, which were their brights because I'm sure they were aware of the tons of deer that live out there. No other vehicles came from the other direction and no one was behind us. We drove for only about 10 minutes, cutting up and hardly paying attention to the road since we knew where we were going.

Suddenly, the car in front of us slams on its brakes, skidding their tires, stopping in the middle of the road. Jamie wasn't following too closely so we didn't have to do the same, but we came to a slow stop maybe 15 feet behind them. There was a brief pause before we heard a woman's blood-curdling scream coming from the Toyota (we had the windows down because some of us had been smoking cigarettes) and that's when we saw it. We had stopped on a declining hill so we could see in front of the Toyota, and what we saw, I'll never be able to forget. It was some kind of humanoid-looking creature, standing on all fours, but the arch of its back was taller than the little toyota. The only thing that made it "humanoid" was its hairless skin, but it was very pale, almost grey, very wrinkly, and its limbs were impossibly long (its forearm was longer than any humans entire arm). The legs, fingers, arms, neck, everything looked like stretched taffy and we could see all of its bones through its skin, especially the backbones that were almost spike-like because they jutted out so much. It wasn't facing us, just stopped mid-stride in the middle of the road, facing the right side of the forest. It had backward-facing knees like a bird's legs, no tail, but still had the posture of some kind of animal. I hoped to God it was an animal, but there's no animal in Alabama that would be taller than a car on all fours, and like I said, it had human-like skin, hands, feet, and it's head was like a humans skull.

No one in our car said a word and Jamie instinctively hit the lock button for the doors, though our windows were still down, and the woman in the Toyota was still screaming bloody murder. For a moment, I remember telling myself it was just some kind of prank / a weird art sculpture or something because it wasn't moving at all. But then those thoughts quickly dissipated when the thing cocked its head in our direction. Its face was just as terrible as the rest of its body, pale and wrinkly, just an indention for a nose, tiny black holes for eyes, no ears, and an impossibly large red-stained mouth that formed into a wicked smile, showing its multiple rows of pointed teeth. The woman's scream grew terribly louder at that moment and the thing seemed to finally be almost startled by it, turning its head back towards the forest, taking only about 2 giant, fluid, animals-like steps, and disappearing into the woods on our right without any sound.

As soon as it was out of sight, Jamie slowly crept the Mustang forward, around the still-stopped Toyota and we saw a man and woman frantically arguing and crying in the front seats. When we got in front of them, the man puts the Toyota in reverse, and goes a bit off-road to turn around, and floors it in the direction we came from. Apparently where they were headed wasn't important enough. I almost thought we should do the same but I couldn't get myself to make a sound, let alone a word or sentence. Jamie went only about 5 miles over the speed limit as he rolled the windows up and no one said a word for the rest of the 20 minute drive.

When we finally got to our friend's house, he was waiting outside for us, waiving as we pulled in the little dirt driveway. All four of us scrambled out, pushing past him to get inside the house. I remember him saying something like "Woah, looks like you guys saw a ghost or something!" Dave turns to him with the most serious face and says "or something...yeah."

We got inside and part of me was still thinking it was some sort of hallucination, even though we hadn't drank or smoked that day at all, so being the artist of the group, I asked our friend for paper and pencils. Without question, he retrieved them, and while sitting in his living room, I suggested that we all should try to draw exactly what we saw before we tried to discuss anything. Sure enough, each of us drew the exact same creature and showed it to our friend before explaining the full story. He was horrified and took the drawings out back to his small fire pit, and lit them ablaze. None of us protested because we never wanted a visual of that thing again. He asked us things like had we been drugged or were we pulling a fast one on him, but considering there were two other people that saw the same thing and most of us were to the point of tears, he knew we weren't lying. He led us back inside, locked his doors and windows, and put on a movie to distract us, but we kept bringing it up, trying to make any sense out of it, and got hardly any sleep at all.

Jamie took us all home the next day and we saw the Toyota's black skid marks in the road where it happened, confirming it wasn't all an elaborate shared dream. Before we dropped off Mary, she told us she didn't want to hang out with us anymore, simply because being around us would remind her of it. We sort of just nodded, and I honestly haven't spoken to her since. I rarely speak to the other 2 friends anymore, for other reasons, but a few times I've tried to bring it up to them, and they refuse to want to talk about it. I know they know it happened, it's just too painful for them to discuss, which is understandable. I hate talking about it to this day and have only told 2 of my closest friends and my now boyfriend who's very opposed to any "supernatural" things. So you can understand why I didn't get any relief by talking to him about it.

I never really believed in those sorts of things either before that incident, but it's definitely changed my perspective a bit. Please let me know if any of you have seen something similar, I've tried researching it and people keep saying its a skinwalker, a rake, or wendigo, but the descriptions never fully match up. I guess I'd just like to put a name to whatever that terrible thing that prowls lower Alabama woods was." TD

Was Mothman Captured in Southern Quebec Village?

By Jon Wyatt - Did a young farmer kill a Mothman near a Quebec village in about 1892? The evidence is intriguing.

The original 1890's press story was so sensational it couldn't be true, however it turns out the witnesses named in the story were real people from notable Quebec families; so if the people were real, was the cryptid real also? Here is the story 'A Remarkable Creature', with a commentary:

“A most extraordinary story comes from Joliette, Canada... It is an account of the killing at the little village of Ste Emelie de l'Energie of a monster half bird, half beast, whose classification will puzzle the most deeply-learned naturalist... the Enquirer correspondent has the story from the mouth of Mr. Medard Lassalle, a wealthy and reputable farmer of Ste Emelie de l'Energie, whose son, Joseph Lassalle, captured and killed it, and also from three well-known residents of Joliette, where the monster now is being prepared for exhibition to the scientists of McGill University of Montreal.”

Sainte-Emelie-de-l'Energie (pop. About 1600) is a French speaking village located 119 kms (74 mi) north of Montreal, Canada-- at the intersection of Routes 131 and 347. It's in a valley and the nearby hills - lair of the monster - are covered by a mixed forest of sugar maple, yellow birch and white birch trees. According to 1891 census records M. Medard Lassalle or Lasalle, 52, was married, residing in the district and the father of 10 children. Joseph Lasalle, the fifth child, was born in 1870 and was aged about 23 – not 35 - when he allegedly shot the flying monster. Joseph married Louise Gadourey at Sainte-Emelie-de-l'Energie in 1895 and the couple were raising three children in 1901.

“The story of the capture of the bird-beast and the description is as a follows. For two weeks past the farmers of Ste Emelie de l'Energie and neighbouring villages have suffered from the depredation of some beast of prey, who nightly visited their sheepfolds and carried off some of their finest lambs. It was generally supposed that a bear was in the neighbourhood, and the farmers have been on the alert for the capture of his bearship.

“On Wednesday of last week, Joseph Lassalle, a big young fellow of 35 years, went in search of the supposed bear, armed with a double-barrelled rifle. Some five miles [8 kms] back in the wood from the village named he was startled by hearing a loud croaking cry, and looking upward he saw, circling high up in the air, an immense creature that he at first to be a monster eagle.

“The bird, or whatever it was, was rapidly descending, and Lassalle, who is a crack marksman, took careful aim and fired. The monster was struck and badly wounded by the heavy rifle bullet, and, screaming with pain and rage, it came tumbling to the earth. As it landed he gave it the other barrel of the rifle, and still thinking it was an eagle, rushed on with his clubbed gun.


“A terrible battle ensued, lasting for several moments; then the victory was with the man, and the monster lay dead at this feet. He had now time for a closer inspection of his game, but the thing presented such an awful and unnatural appearance that he was terror-stricken and ran back to the village for help.

“He was accompanied [back to the scene] by this father and four other young farmers. The monster was then carefully examined by the farmers, who described it as as follows. It had two great wings measuring fifteen feet [4.8 metres] from tip to tip. The head, which was fifteen inches [38 cms] in circumference, resembled that of a large monkey. The body was five feet [152 cms] long, and, while the back part was covered with big black feathers, the under part was covered with a fur or coarse hair. The feet or claws resembled the legs of a wolf, and under the tail feathers was a long appendage with a tuft at the end that looked like the tail of a large calf. Lying with wings extended on the ground the monster looked as big as a horse, and when weighed was found to turn the scales at 300 pounds [136 kgs]. A team had to be sent for to bring it back to the village.”

Well, what was it? If it wasn't a giant bird perhaps it was a monstrous bat. Well mega bats aka fruit bats and flying foxes are not found in North or South America and the largest specimens, found in Australia and the Philippines, weigh-in at a few pounds. We may well ask, was it a Mothman?

“This was seen by Mr Alder Charland, a councillor of the town of Joliette, who was going through the country purchasing produce. He bought the monster probably for exhibition purposes from the Lassalles, and Friday evening last it was brought by train to his place of business in Joliette, where it in now in process of preparation to prevent decay, after which it will be shipped to Montreal for scientific examination.

Joliette (pop. 20,000 today) is located about 50 kms (31 mi) north east of Montreal. M. Alderie Charland appears in the 1892 and 1893 church interment records of Saint Paul's Cathedral in Joliette when he held the office of deputy chief of the district of Joliette. The story says he transported the decomposing carcass to Joliette by train; however, as there was no railway station in the village he probably carted it east by road, along what is today Route 347, to Berthier and from there to Joliette by train, a journey of about 65 kms (40 mi). The story ends with:

“Those who claim to have seen the monster say it is the most extraordinary sight they ever witnessed, and it is hardly possible that all the respectable men who tell this story about it can be lying, and, if not, what can the monster be that is at present causing such a sensation at the Joliette district of the province?” Source: Maitland Mercury, NSW, Australia, 14 February 1893.

So what happened to the alleged flying monster? well, that is the $64,000 question. If M. Charland took it to Montreal for examination it may well have disappeared into the vaults of the scientific establishment to be never seen again.

'Jeepers Creepers' Winged Humanoids in South New Jersey

2 separate witnesses describe their sightings in south New Jersey. The description is compared to the winged being in the 'Jeepers Creepers' film.

The following account, and then a subsequent sighting, were forwarded to me in 2014:

I came across your site looking for answers of what my daughter and I seen in the sky and there are similar stories to ours. I am from Cherry Hill, NJ and approximately two years ago (2012) to this day my daughter and I were riding our bikes. It was bright that night due to a full moon. Not many clouds in the sky but a few that would once in a while make the night darker.

We stopped by a friend's house. Her and her two daughters came out and we were all just talking. I happened to look up in the sky and there's this flying long human shaped thing with a wing span approx 7-8 feet wide. It reminded me of the movie 'Jeepers Creepers.' My mouth just kind of opened and I was speechless and pointing as it went behind the cloud near the moon. I told them what I had just witnessed. Everyone kind of giggled and I told them it did not come out of the cloud yet to keep looking. Well to our eyes it appeared again. My daughter just stood there watching it repeating herself 'mom what is that?' I know she had that same hard-to-swallow feeling I did, while my friend's two girls ran inside screaming. We watched as it flapped and soared near the moon till it disappeared into the clouds again and never came out.

I know what I had seen that night, but wouldn't know what to call it except a flying human-like creature. An experience I would never take back and when I hear others, I really want to believe they had seen the same thing I had. My daughter to this day (now 14) feels there is so much out there we really don't know much about. What is myth and what is real? A night we will never forget and keeping herself busy researching the Jersey Devil to Mothman and Slenderman. It's out there!!!"

I then received an update with possibly the same creature, different witnesses:

"Lon, I lived approx. one hour outside of Cherry Hill, NJ and while on my way to my now wife's home to visit as the sun was just going down, my best friend at the time was driving as we were all going to hang out. I was listening to music and looking out the passenger side window just enjoying the woodlands as I like to do often. As we approached an opening on the side of the road for the power line towers I seen a lanky-humanoid-looking creature with huge black wings flying up into the clearing.

The event shocked both myself and my best friend at the time who was driving so much that we decided to turn around and try to get an even better look at it. By the time we had returned to that spot however there was no sight of it. He and I have never really spoken about this with anyone for fear of ridicule, but the instant I saw this on your site, I felt I needed to give that mother and daughter a piece of mind. They aren't crazy, and I know what I have seen. I have lived in the woods of NJ almost my entire life, and have seen almost all of the natural wildlife that occurs within it and this was not one of them. The location was on Landis Ave. in Buena Vista Township, New Jersey.

The sun was just going down so there was still some light shining down in this area. Very bizarre creature, whatever it was."

NOTE: This location is further south and not far from the Pine Barrens...an area known for various cryptid sightings. Hopefully, other sightings will come forward at some point. Lon

Scary Grunting Cryptid Encountered Along Fiery Gizzard Trail, Tennessee

A couple decided to hike a trail on their way home from a vacation in Nashville, Tennessee. During their walk they encountered a scary grunting cryptid crouched behind a boulder.

I came across this post recently:

"My girlfriend and I were taking a weekend vacation to Nashville, Tennessee last November 2019. As we were driving back home I had looked up a trail for us to go hiking on (Fiery Gizzard Trail) that had good reviews.

We were walking along the trail and got to this concave gorge that we walked down on stairs. We even passed a group of hikers walking back up. As we were walking down it we heard weird grunts that sounded a lot like a Pig Frog, but it was coming from inside the dark gorge where there was no water, just a few large (6ish ft tall) boulders sitting lined up inside the gorge. We almost wanted to turn back because it was creepy, but decided to walk to the end of the trail, which was only a short distance to the creek.

As we turned back and passed the gorge again, I thought I saw something moving behind one of the boulders so I was staring at it as we got closer, wondering what it was. Evidently, my girlfriend was doing the same thing but a few yards behind me.

Getting closer, I swear I made out a face that almost looked like the face of the monsters from the movie 'Where The Wild Things Are,' but obviously smaller. It had creepy human-like eyes, the face seemed pale with hair around the whole head that was reddish brown and it was just staring back at me. I'm freaking out even writing this having to remember it, but I think it's worth sharing.

My stomach dropped, all my hair stood up and I got an overwhelming sense of dread. I told my girlfriend to run and she didn't at first, so I had to yell at her and then we took off and didn't look back until we got to the car.

At the car she told me she was looking at the same spot and saw something back there too. Strangely enough, the boulder was taller than me and it looked like the thing was crouched behind it peering out of the top corner, so to be crouched and still looking over a 6ft-ish boulder it had to have been what, like 9 foot tall or so?

Anyway, my girlfriend doesn't like talking about it and says it could've just been an animal, but I think we both know it was probably something scarier. I really hope it was some weirdo playing tricks on us." MG

Strange 'Animal Talking' Sounds Heard in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia

A Shenandoah Valley, Virginia woman has been hearing strange 'talking' coming from outside her home. Her friend believes that it may be either a Dogman or Bigfoot. Any thoughts?

The following account was recently referred to me:

"My co-worker told me about this. She and her boyfriend have recently moved to the country, about an hour away from where we both work in the Shenandoah Valley.

Because of COVID she works from home entirely now, but I'm still on site. We are very close and she has listened to more of my dogman/bigfoot babble than anyone else.

So, she skyped me yesterday and told me that she heard a very strange noise outside of her house the other day. Originally, based on the volume and how well it carried into her house, she thought it was a person talking in a normal voice on a cellphone right outside of her front door. Or a neighbor screaming. Just based on the volume. But it wasn't shrill or high-pitched.

She heard it initially with her work headphones on. Then took them off and heard it more clearly. Her little yappy dog was barking, so she picked the dog up and calmed her down, and the noise stopped. Then started again and continued for about 5 seconds, then stopped for good.

She grew up in the country. Bear, deer, coyotes, etc. And she said this was a sound she had never heard before, and it freaked her out enough that she called her mom.

According to her, it sounded like "a dog trying to speak English", but it wasn't English. She said "it just didn't sound right," like it was more verbal than any animal she's ever heard. Again, she thought it was a person at first. But then once she really tuned in, she said it was like a huge dog trying to talk and saying the same 3-4 words over and over.

I explained the thing about the bigfoot "Samurai chatter" to her, and she said that it was much slower, lower, more menacing, and aggressive than that. She said that whatever it was seemed to be saying "I will rip your face off."

When I started to get chills was when she said that it didn't sound like it was straining to achieve that volume. She said it sounded almost like "throat singing."

Now, whenever I hear or read a sighting, I look at the location to see if it's prime habitat for a dogman/bigfoot. And this is 100% prime cryptid habitat. She lives in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, between two streams, less than one mile from the Shenandoah River...backed up to something called the GR Thompson State Wildlife Management Area with three ponds within a 5-minute walk. This is deep bush with everything a large creature would need.

In fact I had done tons of dogman/bigfoot research and this was one of the major areas I pinpointed nearby where I might have a decent chance of seeing one, given the geographic similarities to all of the accounts I've read and listened to.

I told her I'm going to come out there, especially if she hears it again." RS

Glowing White Figure 'Nightcrawler' Observed on Cuban Beach

2 friends were vacationing in Cuba along the Playa Ancon coast. One night they encountered an unknown glowing white figure on the beach near their hotel.

The following account was recently referred to me:

"Last year a friend and I went to Cuba for vacation. We were on the Playa Ancon coast. It was New Year's day, around 3 am when it happened.

After a night of drinking and dancing we decided to go to the beach for a little bit. It was nearly pitch black outside, and we were just walking around on the shore talking and looking at the stars. Suddenly my friend calls my name and tells me to look down the shore. What we saw, was a radiantly glowing white figure, about 300 meters away. It had long legs and a head, standing about 7 foot. I immediately thought of the Fresno Nightcrawler, though at the time I didn't know what it was called (we nicknamed it the Ocean Alien).

My friend said that before I had seen it, it was just standing there, and for a moment it looked as though it had stepped into the water, submerged completely, and then stepped back onto the beach. We stared at it for a couple moments, and then it started taking slow steps towards us. We both got so scared and we booked it back to our hotel room without looking back. We were both rattled so we didn't sleep for most of the night.

The next few days of our trip we asked guests and employees at our hotel about what we saw. We even went to the city closest to our hotel and asked a bunch of locals, and nobody knew what we were talking about or could provide any possible explanations for what we saw. We even went back to the beach a few other nights around the same time but never saw it again.

Unfortunately we were both so frightened by the 'Ocean Alien,' neither of us thought to take our phones out and take any photos or video. Does anybody have any idea of what it could have been? I've done some research about Cuban folklore and cryptid sightings and haven't found anything even remotely similar." AS

4 Foot Hairless Humanoid Encountered in Washington County, Wisconsin

A Washington County, Wisconsin woman encounters a 4 foot tall hairless upright humanoid near the Holy Hill Basilica area.
Back in October 2014, the following account was posted on a group page on Facebook:

“At the urging of friends I am reaching out to you about an encounter me and my teen daughter had at about 9:40 pm on September 17th. We were traveling near Highway K and 167 near Holy Hill Basilica.
“I can only say [the creature] was maybe 4 ft tall, hairless, grey/brownish, and running on its hind legs. It seemed to brace for impact as my car barely missed it. Below is the picture I drew as soon as I got home.”

A group member noted the following:
The countryside surrounding Holy Hill has more than it’s fair share of anomalous activity. In 2006, a large bearlike animal with canine characteristics dragged a dead deer from the back of a county contractor’s pick up truck. The authorities recorded the encounter as a “yeti sighting” and started a minor media frenzy, attracting Bigfoot Hunters from as far away as California. Following the Bigfoot clamor, numerous eyewitnesses came forward with sightings of various strange animals ranging in description from the infamous Bigfoot, to odd bear/wolf hybrid creatures.
Also nearby is Hogsback Road, an area that local teenagers claim is haunted by an even stranger cryptid, Goatman. Goatman is exactly what he sounds like, a strange humanoid with caprine characteristics. To my eye, this creature, while almost assuredly not a human/goat hybrid, could put someone in mind of the legendary creature, particularly with those very unsettling legs which seem to have backwards bending knees.
Stories about Goatman have been told around Washington County campfires and in parked cars since about the late-1960s.While the creature seems to be mostly urban legend, creatures with a blend of human and goat attributes have been reported sporadically across the United States, with the oldest I’m aware of occurring in 1830s Minnesota.

“It’s elbow was set low on the arm. Legs seemed to bend back at the knee like a dog’s. Muscles very defined. Thighs especially. I couldn’t make out the hands because of the way it was running. I couldn’t see the feet as I couldn’t see past the car hood.
“Instantly i knew this was something incredible. We were shocked and confused trying to figure out what the heck we just witnessed. We don’t live far from that rural area so we are pretty much freaked out to venture outside when its pitch black. It’s something we’ll never forget. It was a monumental moment. The vision of this thing is etched in our lives.
“I really want to know what that was. It was tangible. Not our imagination. I wish I’d seen the face but it braced itself and tucked its head down. I wish I would have hit it. Not to cause harm, [but just so people won’t think I’m crazy].”
Those who have seen the drawing so far have remarked that it looks extraterrestrial to them, likely because of that large head that resembles the classic “grey alien” description given by alleged UFO abductees.
I’ve pondered the drawing all weekend, and the only rational explanation I can think of isn’t rational at all. It looks vaguely like a tailless kangaroo or wallaby, but just how did one of those make its way to Southeastern Wisconsin? One can’t solve a mystery by introducing a second, equally puzzling mystery." MR
