Terrible Unexplained Screams Alarm Friends in Idaho Wilderness

Two friends are in the Idaho wilderness at night. They had planned to hang out and shoot their firearms. They are soon alarmed by a terrible scream emanating from the forest.

I recently came across the following account:

"In July of 2020, my buddy and I decided to go shooing at night in the woods near Placerville, Idaho, near an old mining facility (this is important later). Exact coordinates are [43.94365265373899, -116.01342176045823]. The entire drive up there, which I would assume would be around, 10 PM or so, I was getting REALLY bad vibes, but I didn't say anything.

Anyway, we get up there, with rifles in hand, then throw on some music and chill out for a bit. Entire time we are up there it's pretty quit and I'm still on edge because it's at night in the middle of the woods, in an area I have never been to. I still have this sixth sense type feeling like something isn't right. My buddy says, 'Okay, lets do some shooting and reloading drills." My buddy goes first, aims at the brim where the coordinates are and fires two shoots. The moment the second shot is fired, I hear something scream LOUD from the tree line behind us where the mining house is. It sounded like a cross between a elk, bear, and wolf dying. I say 'f*ck this' and book it back to the truck. My buddy turns around and unloads into the direction the scream came.

I hop into the car, put my rifle out the window in the direction the scream came from and cover him from the car while he runs back. At this point, this thing screams at us again and I fire some shots in its direction. My buddy gets in the truck and we start the car, turn on the lights and as we are turning around to go back down the dirt trail it scream at us again, only this time it sounds like a dog. We both look at each other and are in collective 'WTF' mode and make our way back down the mountain. He is driving one-handed with a pistol in the other. I have my AR pointed out the window.

We don't hear anymore screams but the entire vibe feels like you are near death, and being hunted. So, sort of primal 'I need to fight or die' feeling that I have never experienced before. I still get chills thinking about it. Instead, we noticed more weird shit, The moon had turned red (I have no explanation for this to this day) and there were weird lights in the forest, like orange orbs floating on another ridge line (there is NO ONE out there) and we eventually get back on the main highway where the moon has since turned back to its normal bluish white.

My friend is a ex-Marine and a combat veteran and I am a seasoned outdoorsman. We cannot explain what happened. I have told this story a few times to close friends, and they all have pretty much told me the same thing...whatever happened that night defied logic because it either was not of this world (alien) or some sort of actual paranormal being/ cryptid or we were just super spooked by some animal and our mind was filling in the gaps. North America is a big place, and I personally believe there are creatures out there that we still do not know of in the more secluded parts of the continent.

When we got back into Boise and began telling some of his friends about the situation. Many of them said there is a Yeti or something up there, so who knows. I should also note that after shooting at it, my friend said he heard footsteps coming towards us, like it was running and it was big.

I recently watched a video about this thing called Crawlers. I find it significant because we were near a mine and other people who have gone to that area report feeling the same uneasy presence. It could be some undiscovered subterranean nocturnal species that is taking these people, which is why they disappear without a trace." AL

Criminal Complaint Filed Against MUFON By Las Vegas Businessman

A Las Vegas, Nevada experiencer and businessman files a criminal complaint against MUFON for attempted email intrusion / spear phishing by a MUFON investigator.

12 Extraterrestrial Aerial Vehicles, Artificial Light Entities

CASE# 115275. These events took place over the duration of approximately five years. This is the second report that I have submitted to MUFON regarding this matter. On May 10 of 2021, I submitted my initial report and was contacted by (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) by email stating that a MUFON investigator would be contacting me. I was contacted later that day by a Nevada MUFON field investigator by the name of (Name and FI # removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) . We corresponded via email for three weeks before I stopped hearing from him. (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) contacted me from email address (Email address removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) . During the three weeks that I occasionally heard from him, on two occasions he attached malicious links to the emails he sent me. His behavior seemed highly suspicious and he contradicted himself several times when discussing the matter of the information being passed along that I have been attempting to share, leading me to believe that he was being dishonest. The last time I heard from (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) was on May 31st of this year. I had initially contacted MUFON to share extremely important information regarding the extraterrestrial presence. I have the answer to why the ETs are here and this information needs to get to the public as soon as possible. I am absolutely shocked to see that MUFON is not acting on this information, but I can't even be certain that the investigator assigned to me is being truthful and actually relaying the information. I'm pretty disappointed. I do not know if (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) has nefarious intentions and is acting on his own accord, or if he is acting at the direction of MUFON leadership.
I published a short piece of work explaining exactly what is happening here with the UFO/alien presence. I am including that work in this report, as well as copies of the email exchange between myself and (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL).
I am also providing a copy of a complaint that I filed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Internet Crime Complaint Center regarding (Name removed to Investigators Report Section/cms/LLL) attempted cyber attacks.
All malicious text has been removed from the attachments I am submitting with this report. (posted on MUFON CMS - 7-10-2021)

'Neon Green Orbs' Appear at Campsite in Florida Keys

Two brothers are camping in the Florida Keys when they observe green neon orbs appear around their tent. What are these anomalies and why did they appear?

I recently the following account from a reader:

"Hi Lon. Long time reader here. I love your blog and appreciate everything you do. I wanted to share with you an experience my older brother and I had back in the late 90's. I believe it was August of 1998 and I was 22, my brother was 37 at the time. We used to do our annual camping trip to the Florida Keys every summer back when I still lived in Florida (where I grew up). We specifically liked the KOA camp ground on Sugarloaf Key. We always set up in the "Green tent area" as far away from other campers as possible in a wooded area not far from the beach.

Our tent was a three room setup, it had two internal sleeping areas separated by a zipper-wall, and a 'porch' area which was all screen with a zipper door so you could hang out and see what was going on outside without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. We would stay up late drinking beer, bullshitting and sky watching in our beach recliner chairs as bros do.

On this particular trip it was the dead of summer so it was still in the 80's at 2 am, hot as hell with no breeze whatsoever so we really couldn't sleep. As we were sitting there in pitch black darkness we noticed a neon green light coming from the woods to the south of us. Both of us assumed it was another camper with a glow-stick wandering through the woods toward us. That's when we saw two neon green orbs slightly smaller than a ping-pong ball, come floating very steadily through the trees toward our tent. They moved in a straight line, never wavering up or down, a solidly straight horizontal line toward us moving at walking speed. We could see the green glow reflecting off of the leaves on the trees like a small LED flashlight.

We assumed they were some sort of lightning bug or a glow-beetle, there are a couple varieties that live in Florida but they're tiny, nowhere even close to the size of what we were seeing. Here's where things get really weird. They both approached our tent and began to move along the top edge of the tent in a perfectly parallel direction as if they were following the outline of the tent. When they got to the corner of the tent they both made an abrupt 90 degree turn to continue following the other side of the tent, then made another 90 degree turn to follow the back of the tent, etc. We both stood up and got right up to the screen to watch them. My brother was ready to unzip the door and go outside to try and grab one, but the mosquitoes were so off the charts horrendous we didn't want to let any inside so we decided to just stay inside and watch. Sure enough, here they come around the front of the tent again about 8 inches away and this time we get a super close look at them. Imagine a sphere made of frosted clear plastic with a bright green LED light in the center of it, that's the best description I can give you. I wanted to reach outside and just grab it but we were sort of mesmerized by the experience and all we could do was say to each other "are you seeing this?! What the hell is that?" This was before smartphones with cameras and GoPros, etc., so there was no easy way to capture it on film. And even if we could it was so dark it would have just looked like a green blob. Anyway, after circling our tent twice they both drifted slowly back into the trees on the exact same path they took coming out. It was as if we were being 'scanned' and after completing their recon they headed back to their origin point. I don't know how else to describe it.

Whatever these things were, they were intelligently controlled and seemed very artificial and non-organic. It was NOT a bug, I guarantee you that. Drones didn't exist then and there's nothing else I can think of that would be able to move at such a perfectly level height while making 90 degree turns in total darkness with no noise. It was absolutely BIZARRE, that's all I can say. I'm 45 now and whenever my brother and I talk about this we're still dumbfounded as to what it could have been. I've included a rough visual mockup of what they looked like in this email. Obviously our tent was a lot bigger than what you see in this pic, but the green glow is accurate. I'm an artist/graphic designer and this is precisely what they looked like.

I know I'm not the only one to experience this phenomenon. The only other references to these green orbs that I have seen is the idea that they are spirits tied to nature, forest sprites of some sort. I suppose that could be true, I'm very open-minded and would consider anything. My brother and I are both hardcore nature and animal lovers, always have been. At the time of this sighting my brother was going through a really rough divorce, so I wonder if he might have been acting as an emotional lightning rod of sorts?" Kurt

NOTE: These bright green or white orbs have often been seen around cryptid sightings or other unexplained phenomena. Many times, these orbs are seen during Bigfoot sightings, either by the witness or later by an investigator examining the area. What are they? Most likely an energy associated with a supernatural being or entity, but that is far from an actual explanation. Lon

'Horned Humanoid' Suddenly Appears Near Sugarloaf Mound, Indiana

An Indiana man and his friends encountered a horned humanoid at his mother's house one winter evening. It suddenly appeared without warning. Could it have been a Leshy?

I recently came across this interesting account:

"This happened back between 2009-2011. The people in the account are myself, my ex-girlfriend who I will call Penny, and a friend who I will call Kyle. These aren't their real names, I don't feel comfortable sharing them online.
My mother asked us to pick up her cat from the vet around 4 or 5pm one night. As it was winter in Indiana, it was getting dark at around this time, and it was already a bit of a drive to and back from the vet, because my mother lived out in the country and the vet was in town. At any rate, we went and got the cat without issue, and after we were to drop it off, myself, Penny, and Kyle were going to go see a movie.
We get back to my mother's house, the sun has already set for the most part, and it's quite cold. Kyle decided to help me carry the cat inside, while Penny kept the car running to keep the heater going. Kyle liked talking to my mother, and wanted to see her before we headed back out to see the movie. Well, we're walking up to the house, and both Kyle and I stopped because we both got this weird feeling at the same time (we figured this out later when we were talking about it).
The house is in front of us, and my mother's yard is behind us (it was a big farmhouse, so had a sprawling front yard). We both stood still, we felt frozen to the spot by this weird feeling, and I looked first and saw something standing behind us, in the yard, and then Kyle looked too.
The thing had to have been well over 6'3" because that's how tall Kyle is and it was bigger than him. It had a hulking shape, with more mass on top than the bottom like a hunchback, which kind of just tapered off into shadows, so I don't know if it had legs or what they might have looked like. The whole thing was pitch black, even in the dark. It had no eyes, no discernable features whatsoever as far as facial features go, but I could tell it was huge and very angry. There was just a feeling I was getting off of it that it was mad that we were there, and I could tell it was staring right at us.
The only discernable features about it were: It had horns, massive horns, like antlers, sticking up off its head, and the hunch in its back seemed to be lumpy and had irregular shapes sticking out of it, but because it was so dark I couldn't figure out what it was.
Neither of us heard a sound from it, it just stood there and menaced us for what felt like minutes, but it can't have been that long. Kyle unfroze me from the spot, and the two of us darted into my mother's house and delivered her cat. We waited a bit, but after looking outside, didn't see anything out there anymore, and after talking to my mother for a bit, we ran back outside and Penny put on the gas, and we got out of there.
We never saw it again after that, but to add a little background on my mother's house:
It has always been haunted. The house that is standing there now is a newer build. The older farmhouse that had been there previously, had burned down and killed a young boy, a mother, and her older daughter. My mother has had issues with it for a long time. She's had the house blessed on several occasions, but nothing ever sticks. Friends who stay in the house have reported weird stuff happening to them as well, and when I lived there I also experienced some odd things, but this was the only time this happened. The house is situated in Indiana, near the Sugarloaf Mound, which was used by the Miami Natives in Indiana's prehistory." HB
NOTE: I suspect the entity seen was similar to a Leshy. Here is a previous post involving one. I have heard and read of similar manifestations in areas of North America. They seem to be a guardian or sentinel. There may be a lingering energy from the property that had summoned this being. Lon

Bigfoot Sighting & Encounter Reports: British Columbia, Florida, West Virginia, Arkansas and Missouri

Several first-hand Bigfoot sighting and encounter accounts from different locations in British Columbia, Florida, West Virginia, Arkansas and Missouri.

I recently received these accounts:

"I'm from Chilliwack, British Columbia and grew up spending a lot of my summer at Hicks Lake and the surrounding area. A friend and I saw something on the far side of Hicks Lake when we were kids, maybe 12-14 years old back in the early to mid-90s.

We used to catch frogs and snakes there all day and had paddled an old surfboard across the lake after stopping at the small island in the middle. We called it Snake Island despite never seeing a snake on it. Once on the other side, we walked into the forest to see what we could find as we hadn't been there before.

After a few minutes, we both saw a very tall, brown, and apparently, hair covered 'something' walking perpendicular to us on two legs, maybe thirty to fifty feet away. We were just kids but knew to leave right away; we said nothing to each other, turned around silently, and scampered back to the surfboard. Neither of us ever spoke of it. Yes, we were just kids, and bears walk on two feet sometimes, of course, and there certainly could have been another human over there dressed in brown. But damn, I remember it like it was yesterday and that was one-hundred-percent no bear or human.

I didn't tell anyone this story until only a few years ago, roughly twenty-seven-years later. That I can understand, but I'll never know why we didn't talk about it at the time. We got back on that surfboard and paddled back to the opposite side of the lake in near silence, and I don't think we ever mentioned it to our parents or friends. We didn't even talk about not talking about it, either. Pretty strange for two kids who never shut up about anything." ML

"Back in 1975 I was in the military stationed Fort Polk, Louisiana. On weekends my partner and I would go stay with my girlfriend and her family outside of Camden, Arkansas, deep in the woods. Their house was several miles from the next house.

One weekend, around 9 PM, we were all watching TV in the living room. Her grandmother was washing dishes in the kitchen. All the sudden she screams like she's being murdered. We all ran into the kitchen, thinking she fell or something. She was just sitting on the floor, white-faced and crying frantically, yelling she 'saw it again staring at her in the window.' She said it was like a huge man's face with wild hair around its head, with red glowing eyes looking in at her.

We all grabbed guns and ran outside, split up looking for whatever it was. There were 6 of us. I was with my girlfriend's dad. We saw something in the woods. It was huge!! All we saw was a large dark figure running and it let out a yell that to this day I never heard since and I live in the swamps of Louisiana. It started like a man howling and ended like a damn elephant!!. Gives me the heebie-geebies to this day.

I went back and looked at the kitchen window from outside. The window was 10 foot off the ground so whatever it was had to be over 10 foot tall." SK

"I live in southern Missouri, way out in the boonies. One night I took our dog out before bed, about 100 yards from my backdoor. I soon noticed a strong odor of rotten eggs lingering through the woods. I didn't think much of it. Then all of a sudden my dog, who I had on a leash, almost drug me across the yard trying to get to the backdoor. Now, keep in mind, my dog is a 100 lb. Pitbull and not afraid of anything. She only barks when she see's or hear something out of the ordinary. But this time she sensed something that terrified her so bad. No bark, No growl. Thought that's odd? Took off running.

Now, I get her back inside. She is yelping and carrying on. I go and stand in my doorway and I hear a knocking sound sounds like a 2x4 being struck against a tree and then I hear this funky growl/howl I have never heard before. Then I hear the sound of something running through the woods, away from me. Never will forget it. Didn't really believe in Bigfoot. But after that, it made me a believer." JS

“In North Florida, in my son's back yard, I found several foot prints, 29 inches long and they sink in the ground 2 inches deep. I slept a few nights in a tent there and it shakes the ground when it walks and it smells like a landfill. The dogs go crazy when it's there. I also found foot prints just outside my granddaughter's bedroom window. My 4-year-old granddaughter said the monster with big teeth growled at her and she hid beside the bed on the floor.” GW

“I had an encounter with a Bigfoot in Slatyfork, WV while snowshoe hare hunting. When it started screaming and whooping my Beagles quit the Snowshoe they was running immediately. They ran back to me scared with their tails tucked between their legs. They never made a sound and my dogs reaction scared me more than the screams. They then started down the path back to truck.

We had over a 3 mile hike to get back to the truck and when we made it, I could still hear the screams clearly. I'll never forget that encounter! That was the only encounter I've had on Cheat Mountain and I hunt Snowshoe Hares every year, but that's during the winter. When I had my encounter ,it was during the summer during the training season for Snowshoe's! I have heard tree knocks 3 different times along the Gauley River in Webster County where I live!” Name withheld

Unnatural Sounds From Cornfield Alarm Northwest Ohio Resident

A northwest Ohio resident described unnatural activity near his property. Recently, while walking his dog, bizarre and frightening sounds emanated from the cornfield. What was it?

The following account was recently posted:

"This has been freaking me out for the past few days since it’s happened. I want to start by saying that everything that I’m about to describe is true and if you don’t believe me, I’m sorry. I live in a woods in Northwest Ohio. My house is back about half a mile in the woods down a long driveway, and my property is surrounded by trees from each side except for the back, which has a field that alternates soybeans and corn every year. We’re a few minutes away from a very small village and about half an hour out from bigger towns.
I just wanted to give some background into the area before I say what happened in case that helps at all. I’ve had weird stuff happen before, I’ve encountered what I think are 'Not-Deer.' Once, there was one in my yard walking around apple trees, which isn’t uncommon but the thing was huge and ugly and it just looked wrong. There was also one next to a country road I was driving down with my friend once. A few years ago I was dog-sitting before I had a dog and I was out with the dog walking near the field. He turned around as there was a huge splash in our pond and started growling and howling. Other than that, the dog was really friendly and I’d never heard him growl before. I joked saying it was a frog man, like the Loveland Frog Man, but ignored it for the most part. Last year my family got a dog of our own and he’s a hound dog, so he chases and barks at everything. But sometimes he gets weird about the pond too, and he’ll growl and howl at it. He doesn’t really growl other than that.
But the incident that I came here to describe happened a few days ago. This year is a corn year in the field behind our house, which I always hate because I can’t see out past the first couple rows and I’ve always thought it’s creepy. Before crops are planted, I like to rock hound and metal detect in the field and surrounding fields so I know the land very well. I have found Native American artifacts in the field before too, and there’s a couple woods scattered throughout the fields and a big creek runs through it too. I mainly stick to the field directly behind my house because I don’t want to wander out too far. The farthest out I’ve gone is probably no more than a mile.
A couple days ago I was out with my dog, walking along the line of dirt between the trees in the back of my property and the field, when my dog started growling at the corn. It obviously scared the hell out of me and I was yelling at him telling him to stop. When I was little we would get coyotes around there too, so I figured it was a coyote. Since I didn’t want myself or my dog to get hurt by the coyote I started walking back to the house but my dog wasn’t having it. He was pulling on the leash, baying and howling and losing his mind. He doesn’t usually bay and howl like that unless he’s treed a squirrel, so the fact that he was just screaming into the corn worried me. We started walking again and then I heard a cat meow from the corn. I was like, 'oh, ok, it’s just a cat.' But I have a cat, and there’s plenty of barn cats that cross our property and my dog has never lost his mind over a cat like that before. So I keep tugging on his leash and I’m like dude let’s go, you’re freaking me out. And the cat keeps meowing and it’s getting like uncomfortably loud for a cat meow. It sounded like it was a lot closer than it was.
Then the “cat” started growling, but it sounded like a big dog. Like big growls. Then the corn started rustling, bigger than what a cat could do. Luckily at that point I was just about back to my yard and the growling kind of developed into what sounded like a yell/scream from a person. I was dragging my dog, my dog was growling, his hair on his back was sticking up, I was scared and shaking. It was absolutely terrifying.
I went back into my house and told my family what happened and they were just like 'ok, cool, whatever,' but I was nearly in tears. It was scary. Again, those sounds have been replaying in my mind over and over and I’d love to get some explanation or something on whatever happened out there. Nothing like that has happened since, not that I want it to." OM
NOTE: This is an interesting account. The progression of the sounds seems to suggest something supernatural, as opposed to a natural animal or person. The native tribe influences in northwest Ohio are varied over history - Ottawa, Miami, Shawnee, Wyandotte, etc. There was a lot of warring between tribes, as well as with settlers. Because of the early activity, I would believe that this may be a energy manifestation. The sounds also mimic those of a canine cryptid, similar to a few Dogman or possible 'Hellhound' accounts I've heard in the past. I'd be interested in your thoughts? Lon

Bizarre Bigfoot & Dogman Manifestations / Disappearances in Southern Indiana

A woman in southern Indiana describes several incidents involving Bigfoot & Dogman cryptids that suddenly appear and disappear. The events were observed by several witnesses.

The following account were transcribed from a January 2021 podcast:

August 2014 and June 2020 (two major events) - Indiana - “Candace, a nurse, residing in Indiana (location not specified, though somewhere near the Ohio River), claims a number of bizarre experiences.

Between 2012 and 2013, she lived in an apartment complex next to a large field and a forest. She noted a terrible smell (a mix of skunk and dog). Around August 2014, the witness moved further down the road but lived within sighting distance of the woods.

While sitting in the backyard, she observed a pair of trees swaying in the field though no other trees were moving. She then watched as dark grey clouds moved in. Two young boys walked down a road and wandered into some nearby forest. After about 25 to 30 minutes, she observed a creature that she likened to a Bigfoot step out from behind the tree and vanish.

A few days later, Candace, her grandson and a group of kids, all between the ages 10 and 13, from the nearby apartment, had gone into the woods to look for arrowheads down by the creek. While standing in the woods, Candace observed tall grass parting and watched as a black creature slithered on the ground. To her, it looked like a creature laying flat, walking on its fingertips like a spider. It slowly approached her and the children. She noticed a second creature peeking from around a tree, though she could not describe what this was. Suddenly, the one crawling, jumped to its feet. It stood on two legs. It was a massive creature standing between 7 and a half and 8 feet tall. The kids all screamed in horror. She described it as looking like a German Shepherd, with brownish/reddish short hair, muscles, tapered waist with human looking hands adorned with claw-like fingers. It stared at them and then turned and ran (as did Candace and the children).

Over the years Candace, her grandson and her neighbors all experienced glimpses of these weird creatures. Candace's strangest sighting occurred in the summer of 2020 (June) when she was sitting on her back porch, drinking a coffee at 8:00 AM one morning. She felt as though she was being watched and got up and looked around but saw nothing. She sat back down and looked towards the forest. Suddenly a beam of light erupted out of the ground. A black figure stepped out from the light. She could not see a face, only a black outline of a hairy bipedal creature that she said looked like how a silhouette of a Bigfoot would look. The creature stood there momentarily. It turned and looked in her direction. It then turned around and stepped back into the light beam and was sucked downwards back into the ground. The light immediately turned off.

Candace claims to have photographed some of these oddities and uploaded them to a Facebook Group. Almost immediately after, the photos were deleted from the group and somebody accessed her cellphone and removed all the images. She lost everything. This was followed by friend requests from people she didn't know.”

UFO Encounter / Alien Abduction in Croft State Park, South Carolina

A South Carolina man recalls a UFO sighting and subsequent abduction by several small child-like beings that he experienced while camping with his girlfriend in Croft State Park.

The following account was forwarded to me by Cam & Kyle at Expanded Perspectives:

"My experience is a bit hard to talk about. It literally has changed my entire life and has had a huge impact on almost everything in my life in one way or another, since the event. This wasn’t recent, so let me take you back to when this all took place.

My name is Lewis and I’m from a small town in South Carolina called Whitmire. I was born in 1957, so I’m currently 64 years old. I was part of the baby boomer generation, in a small rural area in the deep south. I had the typical childhood from anyone growing up in that era. I was a country boy, so I did the stereotypical things country boys did. I played a lot of baseball, football, did some hunting, and a whole lot of fishing. I love to fish, still do. My home was a Christian one, with me and my folks almost never missing a Sunday service. I was raised with a less than open-minded pair of parents. I never, ever heard anyone talk about the paranormal, no ghost stories, or any creepy crawlers, and definitely no stories about aliens or UFOs. But, one of my friends when I was around 10 or 11, had some comic books called UFO: Flying Saucers. I remember looking at the cool cover art and reading the interesting stories inside, never once thinking that one day I would experience something I would have trouble talking or even thinking about. So it was then that I became really interested in UFOs, Aliens, and thinking about the real possibility of otherworldly beings traveling the expanses of space and time to visit us here on earth.

Well, as time went by and I grew up, I thought less and less about the subject altogether. I stopped reading comics and magazines and started chasing girls. Just after finishing high school, I met the love of my life, Jackie. We dated for a while and eventually got married and raised a beautiful family. But, my encounter happened before we were married. We had been together around 2 years when the summer was approaching and we had wanted to do some camping and fishing together. You see, I lucked out because Jackie loved fishing too. So she was a welcome companion on many fishing trips. So we started looking at some good places to camp and fish for a few days, just the two of us. We did some asking around and everyone told us that we needed to check out Croft State Park, just outside of Spartanburg, SC. So that’s where we decided to go.

We packed up the car and headed to Croft State Park to camp and fish for 5-7 days, we weren’t really sure. The place was great, the surroundings were beautiful, and Lake Craig looked promising. We had a small aluminum John boat with us that we could do some fishing out of and we were really excited. We selected a campsite, set up our stuff, and made ourselves a few sandwiches to eat and take it all in. The spot we selected was far from anyone else. We hardly saw anyone at the park at all, so we were in heaven. After dinner, we climbed into our tent and went to sleep. We awoke early the next morning and had a fantastic day of fishing. It was the perfect day! Again, as the Sun was setting, we cooked some ham and eggs in a skillet and ate dinner. By the time we were finishing up, it was pretty dark outside and Jackie was commenting on all of the beautiful stars in the sky when we both noticed something strange.

She saw it first and said “Lewis, do you see that orange-looking star? ….Lewis,....Lewis!” The reason I wasn’t answering is that I did see it, and I knew that it wasn’t a star. I don’t know how, but I did. Instantly all of those magazines and comic books from my youth came flooding back into my mind! I knew first that it wasn’t a star because the thing was moving around. Zig zagging, holding completely still, and then moving again. I told Jackie “That’s not a star babe.” And she said “Then what is it? A plane perhaps?” I told her that I didn’t know. Of course, I didn’t want to tell her that secretly I thought it might be a flying saucer. I really liked this girl and I didn’t want to ruin things by making her think I was crazy. We watched it for about 15-20 minutes and then it just disappeared. After that, we talked about other stuff for the next 2 to 3 hours and turned in for the night. The next day came and we did some hiking on some of the local trails. Again, it was a great day and I and Jackie were having just the best time. As the day wound down, we made dinner a fire and did some more stargazing.

All of a sudden we saw the same orange orb we saw the previous night. Jackie excitedly said “Lewis, look! There it is again! What is that?” I saw it again too, and again I told her that I didn’t know. All of sudden the object stopped moving around and started to grow in size or at least that’s what we originally thought. After watching it for a minute or so, I realized it wasn’t growing in size, it was approaching us and our campsite. It was coming towards us. This thing descended over Lake Craig and hovered over the surface of the water about 100 feet or so. I have no way of actually knowing the altitude but there was an old water tower near my house at home which stands at 116ft and this looked close to that height. It was about 4 to 5 football fields in length away from us and it just sat there, no sound. Nothing. It was completely quiet, no crickets or cicadas or anything. Suddenly, Jackie said “Lewis! Is that a flying saucer?” and I said “Maybe. I don’t know.” Well it sat there for about 2 minutes and then shot off into the air very quickly, making absolutely no sound. That was it, it was gone. Surprisingly, Jackie didn’t seem frightened by it, just excited. We talked about it for a while and went to sleep.

Around 3:00 am I woke up in our tent and I saw a small glow coming from outside. I thought that maybe our campfire had flamed up again. I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep. I could hear something outside of the tent moving around, stepping sounds, scurrying sounds, it’s hard to describe but I could tell something was IN our campsite. I thought maybe Jackie or me left some food out and the raccoons were getting into our supplies and I needed to get my flashlight, put my shoes on and shooed them all away. So, I first found my shoes, put them on, and tied them. Then, I felt around the dark tent trying to find my flashlight. I eventually found it after looking for a minute or 2. I tried to turn it on but nothing happened. I was confused, I had just put new batteries in it before we left to come out here. I had used the flashlight earlier that evening with no problem. This was one of those old metal flashlights from the ’70s that kind of look like a lightsaber.

So I banged on it a few times, took the batteries out, and put them back in, but nothing. As I was doing this I could still hear multiple things moving around in our camp, only light faint sounds, but I could hear it. By this time Jackie woke up and said “Lewis, what in the hell are you doing?” I told her that some raccoons were in our campsite and that I was trying to get the flashlight to work so I could scare them off, but that I couldn’t get it to work and that she should just go back to bed. She reminded me that on one tree by the firepit there is a Coleman kerosene lantern. I was like yeah, I’ll just use that. So, just like that, not really concerned about what was happening, I unzipped the tent and stuck my head out.

What I saw forever changed me! The orange glow I saw from inside of the tent that I assumed was our campfire just flaring back up, was not our fire at all. It was the large Orange Orb from earlier! IT WAS BACK AND THIS TIME MUCH MUCH CLOSER! This time, it was only 50 yards from the tent and only about 15 feet from the ground. Again it was completely silent and was spinning in a counterclockwise motion but very slowly. The colors were swirling too, they were all various shades of orange but they were moving. It kind of looked like videos of the sun’s surface, but there was no heat. At this point, I was in shock. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t speak. I just sat there in awe. That’s when something was moving to my left towards the picnic table with our food and supplies. What I thought were raccoons were something completely different. What I saw were 4 to 5 small, thin, children with no hair, only slits for mouths, and large black, almond-shaped eyes. They appeared to be rummaging through our belongings, but I couldn’t understand why these odd-looking kids were out here in the middle of the night, in a remote camping spot, going through our gear. But before I could try and compute what I was seeing, one of them, noticed me noticing them. It stopped and produced a wand of some kind, a small thin stick, like a baton that a conductor of an orchestra would use, that’s the only way I can describe it. This being move to me very quickly and put this wand to my forehead and that’s was it. White! Like a really bright camera flash! Everything went white!

The next thing I remember, Jackie was waking me up on a trail. I was lying in some tall grass and the sun was hot and warm. It was like 1:15 in the afternoon and Jackie was screaming at me to wake up! "Wake up!" I was coming around and I felt like I was still drunk or hungover. Jackie was there with two park rangers and they were offering me some water. I was confused, I was trying to make sense of what was happening. Jackie was visibly shaken and was happy to see me as well as being really pissed off at me! She just kept yelling at me. “Lewis, where the hell did you go? Where did you go? Why did you leave me all alone in the tent?” I was like “What are you talking about? I didn’t leave. Where am I? What's going on?”

She said, "Lewis, you woke me up in the middle of the night and told me that some raccoons were messing with our stuff and that you were trying to get the flashlight to work but couldn’t, I then told you about the kerosene lantern and you told me to go back to bed, which I did. But you never came back! I woke up and 6:30 or so and the tent was wide open and unzipped and you were nowhere to be found. I got up, got dressed, and started screaming your name. I thought maybe you went fishing without me but all of your stuff was still at camp. The lantern was still hanging on the tree by the campfire, the flashlight was still in the tent. I looked for you all around the camp for 3 hours, yelling your name but we couldn’t find you. So I didn’t know what to do, but I was getting worried. So I went to the Park Ranger station and told them that you were missing. They told me not to worry and they began helping me by asking exactly what happened and where we were and stuff like that."

As she was telling me all of this the two park rangers were shaking their head with agreement with her story! They told me that they found me off of this trail roughly a mile, mile and half from our campsite, facedown in the tall grass. That I didn’t have any shoes on and that my shirt was inside out and on backwards! They wanted to know what kind of drugs did I take and I told them, I didn’t take anything. I was just trying to scare away some raccoons and the next thing I know, I’m here on the trail talking to you guys.

Needless to say, we were both freaked out and I didn’t tell Jackie about the giant orange orb and the odd-looking children for about 10 months. I was different once we got back home, not depressed but different. After a while, Jackie asked me what was going on with me? Was there something that I wanted to get off of my chest, was there something bothering me. I told her, yes, and I told her everything. She just listened, I don’t think she believed me, I don’t think she ever did. She just listened, never judged me but told me that she thinks I must have had a bad dream and sleepwalked to where they found me in the tall grass. I don’t know if she truly believed that or it freaked her out to consider the possibility that I was taken by some strange extra-terrestrial visitors. I’ve tried to speak with her about it a few times over the years but she always tells me to stop!! My children have tried to talk me into seeing a clinical hypnotherapist to try and recall what happened during my missing time, but I’m too scared to find out.

I’ve lived more than 40 years since my strange encounter and I don’t want to bring up old memories. Jackie and I are still married, we still live in South Carolina, in Charleston now. We still fish from time to time, mostly with grandchildren. And I can tell you I still think about that night almost every time. I don’t know what to think about the whole thing? Was I a victim? Or was I lucky because I was chosen? I don’t know, but I know that we are not alone." Lewis

Mexican Doctor who Examined an Extraterrestrial

The last few months of 1977 saw several member countries of the United Nations holding “high-level conferences” designed to look into the possibility of organizing a global network to investigate the appearance of UFOs all over the planet.  Unfortunately, the persistent efforts of some of those countries’ United Nations ambassadors to pique the interest of that international body’s General Assembly have gotten nowhere.  Each time that an ambassador brought up the issue of UFOs to the General Assembly, it was shelved for discussion at a later, but unspecified date.  

One of the more vociferous proponents for a serious study of UFOs on the part of the United Nations has been the Honorable Eric M. Gairy, the Prime Minister of tiny Caribbean island country of Grenada.  Speaking before the General Assembly at the end of 1977 on behalf of the ambassadors from numerous countries seeking an official inquiry into the UFO phenomenon, Gairy asked that the members of that body issue an official declaration of the coming year of 1978 as the “International Year of Unidentified Flying Objects.”  He also urged other member states of the United Nations to join Grenada in issuing postage stamps commemorating great moments in the history of ufology.  

Up until January of 1978, however, the Prime Minister was unable to persuade the representatives from the larger countries to cooperate in an international investigation of UFOs.  Nevertheless, sources close to Gairy informed a correspondent from the UFO Review, an independent tabloid newspaper published in New York City, that the door to initiating such an investigation may have been opened, albeit just a small crack.  Gairy allegedly informed the UFO Review’s reporter that in the forthcoming months, “There may be a big change in the attitude of certain countries, which will very likely come out and take a much more positive stand on the UFO matter.  When the next session of the United Nations General Assembly convenes, a special presentation will be made concerning close encounters in each of the countries belonging to that world body.  Top UFO researchers will provide the overwhelming documentation that Earth does, indeed, have visitors from afar” (UFO Review, Vol. 1, No. 1, 1978).  

Prime Minister Gairy stated that in the first week of April 1977, behind locked doors, the Ambassador of Grenada to the United Nations, Francis Redhead; the Assistant Secretary for Science and Technology of the United Nations, Joao F. da Costa; and the officer in charge of the United Nations Technology Applications Section, Bertrand Chapel, entertained a visitor from Mexico with a personal account of contact with an extraterrestrial being, a story that all of these officials took quite seriously.  

In the Mexican visitor to the United Nation’s account, it was during October of 1975 that a “gigantic mothership” was sighted by hundreds, hovering over the city of Guadalajara in Central Mexico.  Cars throughout the city had stalled.  As the drivers and passengers got out of their cars, they looked up in the sky and watched the huge, sleek craft as it glided over a nearby mountain range.  There were also additional UFO sightings at the time throughout Central Mexico; and the visitor to the United Nations described the people of that region as having suffered a bout of “UFO fever.”  

It was during the peak of this UFO flap that an established medical doctor in Guadalajara found himself confronted with a new, and what would come to be a most unusual patient.  It was a man who complained of being “seriously ill” and requiring the immediate assistance of the doctor.  The doctor immediately ushered the ailing gentleman into his examination room.  The patient further explained that he was feeling fatigued and asked the good doctor if he could carry out a complete physical examination of him.  The doctor then informed his new patient to strip to the waist so that he could check him over to appropriately determine the cause of his dire condition.  

According to the correspondent for UFO Review, “As the patient unbuttoned his shirt, the doctor noticed that the color of the man’s skin was unusually pink, almost like that of a child’s.  He also noted that there was not a single hair on the upper portion of his body (face, underarms and chest included), save for that on his head.  Taking his stethoscope, he listened to the heartbeat of the patient, but could find no irregularity.

“At this point, the doctor requested that the man strip totally.  When he was completely naked, the doctor again noticed the fact that his patient was entirely hairless.  The area around his genitals looked as if they were shaven clean.  In actuality, there were not even hair follicles on any part of his body, something that is completely unknown to biology on this planet.”

The patient sense that the doctor was flustered.  He then explained that, “I wanted to show you that I am not one of your kind,” at which time he started talking about the immensity of the universe, intelligent life on other planets and the reality of UFOs as spaceships from those far-off worlds.  The patient remarked that, “Alien beings from other planets, some nearby, have been visiting Earth on a regular basis and that the occupants of the flying saucers were particularly concerned about the Earthlings’ slow spiritual development that had lagged far behind our technological accomplishments with atomic science and rocketry.”

The doctor and the alien conversed for a brief period, in which time the doctor was informed of “many things of a technical nature,” things that he had no way of knowing on his own.  After their scientific chat and completed medical exam, the doctor was utterly convinced that his patient was actually an extraterrestrial being, so much so that he felt obligated to report the incident to “someone in authority.”  

The doctor called the local newspaper, El Occidental, and spoke to someone at the news desk. “Who would I report anything having to do with UFOs and space aliens?” asked the doctor.  

The individual on the other end of the line said that she was only a secretary and heard of some UFO groups in Mexico, but didn’t know how to contact them.  “But there was an article about this United Nations ambassador from some Caribbean country who is presently in Mexico investigating UFO sightings.  If you standby, I will get his contact information.”  

The secretary asked the reporter who wrote the article and he gave the name of the ambassador, Francis Redhead, and the local hotel where he could be found, the Rui Plaza in the downtown district.  The secretary passed this information onto the doctor; and the doctor called the hotel clerk, who patched his call up to the diplomat’s room.  A meeting was agreed upon for the following day, whence the doctor went over all the details of his encounter with the alleged extraterrestrial for the benefit of Redhead.  So convinced was the ambassador with the doctor’s claim, that he invited him to go with him to the United Nations headquarters in New York City, all expenses paid by the government of Grenada, to tell his story to a special UFO investigations committee.  

The Caribbean country of Grenada, much to its credit, was one of the first nations to officially recognize that we are not alone in the universe and that we are truly being visited by intelligent beings from other planets.  The reporter from the UFO Review revealed that a high-ranking official of the government of Grenada had actually met with a flying saucer occupant in the summer of 1977.  The incident allegedly occurred while two UFOs were hovering over the shoreline.  One of the UFOs then landed; while the other remained in a hover mode about ten feet above the ground.  An extraterrestrial being emerged from the landed ship and conversed with the government official, a prominent politician on the island, for about fifteen minutes.  Then the entity got back into the landed UFO and both of the craft, each about 50 feet in diameter, took off for parts unknown.  The alien was said to be a beautiful, blonde haired woman, about 5’4” in height, who was “very human in appearance.”

Black-Eyed Kids: What Are They?

4 separate black-eyed kid encounters experienced in Delaware, Ontario, Kansas & Mexico. Maybe one day we'll discover their origin and why they appear.

The following encounters were collected by me over the years:

"I'm a college student Delaware. Around August last year, I was sitting in my car in my driveway listening to music. It was around midnight and I live kind of in the middle of nowhere. While I’m sitting in my car with my eyes closed I start getting this feeling that I’m being watched. I look to my right and I see a figure staring through my car window. It then darts away and then comes back to my window extraordinarily fast. It looked to be about 5 foot, Caucasian and young. The figure was wearing a hood. I got a glimpse of its eyes and I’m sure they were completely black eyes.

Without hesitation, I threw my car in reverse and stepped on the gas. I heard bumping and banging against the right side of my car and I could’ve sworn I felt bumping under my tires and stuff. I thought that I ran over someone in my driveway.

I went to my friend’s house which was about 2 minutes away from mine and I waited an hour in their driveway. After I drove back to my house. There was nobody there, nothing on the ground, no signs of anything that had just happened. Anytime that I told my friends they all think I was overreacting or hallucinating or something. But I know something happened that night, the feeling and sounds of bumping and banging against my car windows and doors and bumps under the tires. I remember this all too well for it to be fake." "A few months back I was driving down a dirt road near where I live (the middle of nowhere in southern Ontario) and my radio started going fuzzy and switched to a different song. Then I see two kids, a boy and a girl age I would guess would be at most 8, sitting down playing on the side of the road. Not being near any houses, which is very strange considering how dangerous it is for kids to be alone on these roads. I see people going way faster than the speed limit all the time. No responsible parent would let their kids play like this.

I was concerned about their safety, so I pulled up beside them and asked if their parents know they are out here and without even looking up at me they just said 'yes' and I said 'ok, well be careful out here and watch out for cars. The girl looked up. OMG! Her eyes were completely black! I quickly drove off, wanting no part of those two kids." T

"This happened about 10-12 years ago and I'm not sure if was the real thing. When I was about 10 or 11 I went to the mall with my mom and we went into Sears near my home in Kansas. We were headed towards the main part of the mall and we passed a lady. I remember she had a baby stroller, and two kids following her. One boy and one girl. They looked a few years younger than me, the boy probably 8 and the girl looked about 6. I distinctly remember these kids having fully black eyes and pale veiny skin. I felt kind of guilty looking at them because I thought they had a condition, so I looked away.

I never forgot about those kids, and I would think about it time to time until recently I looked up their condition. I searched pictures, websites, and different key words to try to find a disease or something. Nothing. Earlier today it clicked with me that what I witnessed could have been paranormal. I'd known about black eyed children for a few years but never put two and two together.

This raised so many questions than answers for me. Why were they following her if they were BEKs? What happened to that lady? I wonder if what I saw is truly paranormal, but I don't think I would want an answer." EL

María Arteaga González opened her door after hearing incessant knocking. Her home was located in the modest Colonia el Bosque neighborhood of Tijuana, the largest city of the Mexican state of Baja California right across the border from San Diego.

It was the late afternoon in March of 2016 and María was getting ready to start dinner as she always did at that time. The two children on her doorstep were about 10 years old, a boy and a girl, with their heads slightly downward. They were wearing what appeared to be handmade clothing. From what María could tell, the children had very pale skin and very even features. Even though they spoke perfect Spanish, she knew that these kids were not from her neighborhood. María thought to call her three children to the door who were about the same age as the two standing before her, but something told her not to.

She then asked if they were lost and where their parents were. The two strange children replied with their original request for water and permission to enter the house. María asked them again if they were lost and the girl of the two repeated, “No, we want to come in.”  María was at a loss as to what to do.

It was when she grabbed her phone to call her husband that the two children finally looked up. What María saw filled her with terror. After making eye contact with them, she screamed while instinctively slamming the door. The two children had solid black eyes, something María had never experienced before. The sight of them had so disturbed this Mexican housewife that she couldn’t speak of it for days.
