The best marketing isn’t marketing at all. It’s generosity.
If you’re writing just to get something—
Stop.
The usual marketing mantra is:
Do this. Get that.
But what if you showed up to help with no hidden agenda?
That’s when things start to work.
I used to think like this:
People should pay me for my best ideas.
My stories are worth money.
Don’t give away value for free.
But that’s not the point.
When I started sharing valuable things freely
People asked for more.
And they were happy to pay for it.
That’s the irony.
Give without asking
And you’ll often receive more than you expected.
Try it out.

How Do You Achieve Big Goals?
Do big things every day? Nope, that’s terrible advice. You’ll feel exhausted and likely not reach your goal.
Or worse, you’ll give up.
But if you start small and consistently achieve something towards the goal every day…
You will gain momentum, and then it’ll be easily attainable.
So no matter how big the goal, just start.
You will get there in the natural course of time.

“Busy is the new lazy. Are you guilty? 🤔”
I used to think being busy meant being productive.
Spoiler: It doesn’t.
Focusing on everything means focusing on nothing.
Prioritize tasks that truly matter. Your to-do list will thank you.
Ever heard of the 80/20 rule? Apply it. 20% of tasks yield 80% of results.
Stop glorifying busyness. Start celebrating effectiveness.
Ask yourself: Will this task move the needle?
If not, reconsider.
Remember, saying “no” is a superpower. Use it wisely.
Quality over quantity isn’t just for friendships. It applies to work too.
Take a step back. Evaluate. Adjust. Repeat.
Your time is precious. Spend it on what truly counts.
Let’s redefine success. It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters.

One hack I find helpful when dealing with money.
One hack I find helpful when dealing with money.
– Do not see the numbers, but see the time you have to give up.
For instance, buying an iPhone looks easy.
But if you consider carefully, it’s almost three months’ salary for a mid-level IT dude.
3 months = iPhone (for IT dudes)
1 year or more = minimum wage earner.
Now think about it in reverse.
Can that iPhone give back that time?
Nope.
Whenever you have a desire to buy big material stuff. Think about the time implication.
If the thing you buy does not exact an interest in time, then go ahead.
Don’t feel guilty about buying it.
But when you know you have to spend another year slogging through the EMI.
It is probably not worth it.

I came from a family that looked middle class but was actually poor.
I came from a family that looked middle class but was actually poor.
Every month was a struggle.
Food, school fees, and a big, big family to feed.
My dad struggled all his life.
He looked rich and powerful on the outside, but he struggled to keep up with life’s demands.
I realised this last week.
I took my nieces out to a nearby place.
It was a small thing, but I noticed how much they enjoyed it. Did I enjoy my childhood like them?
In my own life, my dad perhaps once or twice had taken us out. Otherwise, nowhere.
Then it struck me.
I should help these kids have more memories than I ever had.
I should strive to earn more, live well, and make plenty of memories.
After all this time, my dad’s dedicating his life to working for others does not cross our minds.
Sure, he worked for us and the family, but once he was gone.
Family and Company did not care.
In truth,
All our lives will end up as memories. Let’s create and record more memories with out loved ones.
PS: Now planning vacations!

No Writer’s Block
Tom came to me the other day and said he’s got talker’s block.
I looked at him questioningly.
‘How is that possible?’
‘I don’t know what to talk about.’
‘Well, you are talking now.’
‘Oh, yes, but I’ve got a block,’ he said and continued to talk about his block for an hour.
You see, talking is easy.
Everyone can talk and there is not a talker’s block.
We learn how to say things better.
That’s the same thing with writing.
There should not be writer’s block. Those who say they have writer’s block do not:
✓ Write daily
✓ Write in public
✓ Try at least a para.
You will get good at it if you actually write just like talking.
You can write about the world around you.
You can even teach something you know.
But write
It will help you become a better person.

Five months ago, I consciously added a section to my daily routine.
I called it #writing
I read books on writing.
Whatever I read I tried to implement in some kind of writing I do.
So here are three random things I learnt from these books(there are too many)
1) Vary Sentence length. It creates a hypnotic rhythm.
2) Use concerte words. For example avoid very. For “very good” you could say awesome, brilliant or any such words.
3) If you want to write a long sentence make sure to write the Subject (or the person performing the action right in the beginning of the sentence followed by a verb, and then add details by that way readers are not worried about the ending.
𝘌𝘹. 𝘙𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘢𝘱 𝘏𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯, 𝘏𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪’𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥. 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘑𝘦𝘢𝘯-𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥. (𝘘𝘵𝘥 𝘪𝘯. 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴)
Notice Rebels and Seized. Yes. They did all that. Why does this sentence work? It is simple Subject and verb are introduced right in the beginning.
