Squee Whiz!
I know say 'thank you' a lot, but that's only because you guys give me so much to be grateful for.
When I logged in today and realized that my books have now been added four thousand times, by about two thousand unique individuals, I began to dance. In my socks. I stubbed my toe on a box, but it was totally worth it.
Wow!
Three of my books now have over one hundred ratings, one has over two hundred, and I have another three that are getting close. It all hit me at once today that I'm finally out there, being read. And I just finished my first trilogy! YAY!
It's a pretty good feeling.
My next projects will be different, since I don't want to genre-cast myself as an author.
One is paranormal horror about an incubus.
One is an urban fantasy story about a young shape-shifter (Black Beast).
One is a fluffy new adult road trip novel- with a twist.
And one is a new adult gothic romance.
Then - sometime in between all that - I'm going to try to start Locked and Loaded and Webmaster. (:
I'm really excited about these upcoming projects. I look forward to sharing them with all of you, and with new people I haven't met yet but surely will soon.
Thanks for your support. Thanks for making me who I am. Thanks for helping me reach my dream, one step at a time.

TERRORSCAPE on SALE/An Open (Love) LETTER
Terrorscape is now up and ready for purchase on Amazon for Kindle. I shall do my best to have the hard copy editions up by Monday.

Also, since this marks the end of my very first trilogy (AND THE EIGHTH BOOK I'VE PUBLISHED THIS YEAR(!)), I'd just like to say, I'm so, so, so grateful to:
-Lousia, who designed all my covers. She's amazing, and if you are an author or aspiring author looking for a designer, you don't have to look any further. PM that girl and work something out, because she works quickly and tastefully. ;)
-All my squishy friends, fans, and followers on this site! I have half a thousand people following my reviews, which makes me super happy because I know there is some controversy on whether authors should be able to review books or not. It really means a lot to me that I have come to be known as an honest reviewer. I have always prided myself on my diligent attempts to have and project a sense of integrity. <3
-My original readers from Fictionpress.com. With the exception of some horrible Inuyasha fics and one Twilight/Louise Rennison crossover, I have always written original fiction. I love the people who supported me and my less-than-conventional plotlines, and who dared say, "Okay, while you are not perfect, you also do not completely suck- so keep at it, and try try again!"
-My nice, lovely, supportive author friends. Their personalities are even better than their books (and their books ain't half-bad).
-My readers (and also, the whoar squad) from PH, who followed me over here. You guys are awesome, and I really got to know some of you quite well and now some of us are even best book buddies! Hooray! <3 Now help me nag the other writers to get their asses published, too! :D
-The members of the two groups I co-moderate for, who are devoted to keeping the 'good' into Goodreads.
-Venus Smurf, president of my fanclub, official stalker, and Michael's future girlfriend (although he doesn't know it yet).
-Anyone else who interacts with me within the context or capacity of reading, writing, and reviewing. :)
I think that covers all the bases, yes?

Freebie Promo, USED hard copies, and EMAILING LIST!
Today is the last day you can download ENDGAME and HOW TO WRITE GOOD for free. There are only 8 1/2 hours left in the sale! <3
Also, people are apparently selling USED copies of my books on Amazon! THIS IS AWESOME! Share the love, I say! I don't think I get a commission from this, but it's still pretty dang awesome since I know my hard copies are pretty expensive (curse you, manufacturing costs!).
Someone is selling a USED paperback copy of Horrorscape for $3.58 (+ shipping).
I think shipping is $2.99 in the U.S. for used books, so that'd be ~ $6.50. Considering that it costs $9 without prime and $7.72 with, that's a pretty good deal. :D
Anyway, just putting that out there! I'll be sure to post more if I see any other listings for used copies of my books. :D

Severe Side-Eye: Try Before You Buy
To help launch my newest book, I'm hosting a giveaway on August 4th only of my newest book,

It occurred to me that people might have more reason to side-eye self-pub books that are non-fiction.
Well, I fully believe in trying before you buy. This is a short collection of essays about my experiences as an indie-writer, and lessons I have learned through experience and observation on how to avoid bad writing and bad author behavior.
Also, thanks to everyone who participated in my giveaways of FEARSCAPE and CLOAK AND DAGGER.

NOOOOOOO
So I was going to charge my laptop and for some reason the charger wouldn't fit (insert perfunctory penis joke here). When I took a look to see why, I realized that my COMPUTER WAS COMING APART.
Two of the screws from the bottom fell out. I'm always having to screw them back in but I guess I missed it when they fell out this time. :/
Luckily I was able to wedge the charger in there at a diagonal angle (insert other perfunctory penis joke here). For a moment I was like, "MY STORIEZ! O NOEZ!"
(Kind of like the cabbages guy from Avatar: Last Airbender.)
