So are they of human or alien origin? Is this real news or are we looking at an elaborate hoax?

Saint Patrick's Day: have you been hoodwinked by Church spin?

I covered the topic of Saint George and Patrick along with ethnic religious cleaning by stealth in a previous blog.
http://pat-regan.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/dragons-and-snakes-have-you-fallen-for.html
I reiterate that any truly unbiased analysis of historical data indicates that Saint George’s day is nothing more than a counterfeit Christian celebration, based on much earlier indigenous Pagan tradition. However, I am reminded that today is Saint Patrick’s Day so here are a few though...

Damien Moore on list of MPs who voted to remove guarantee of a hot meal for kids in low income families

Damien Moore MP and his fellow Conservatives have voted for hugely unpopular cuts to free school meals, which apparently means that at least 24,000 children in Merseyside are now set to miss out.
Mr Moore proudly highlighted his action on Twitter...

Alongside their DUP counterparts, MPs from the Tory Party agreed far-reaching changes to rules set around free school meals under Universal Credit benefit.
However, a highly vocal lawyer, Peter Stefanovic, had a sneering message for the Tories who vo...

Worst road in Southport - is it yours?

Can you nominate a road, street, etc in Southport as the worse one in the area?
Road defects pictured in this article are all taken in the Southport area. However, plenty of potholes are far worse than these. How bad is your road?

Southport Residents are sick and tired of the many dangerous potholes in our town. Each week more tales of damaged vehicles and danger to cyclists and pedestrians are being heard. Danger to the public is clear but what about the perils to councils?

Formby Bypass: March snow creates traffic disruption

Traffic at a crawl on the Formby Bypass this morning.
Weather Office wrong-footed by lowland snow
The latest Met Office forecast has been criticised as the snow risk was not highlighted significantly enough for the region.

https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gctc5tc5s#?date=2018-03-08
The official forecast of 'mostly hill snow' was given yet the scene at low-lying Woodvale to Formby this morning appears to mock this prediction.

Tree butchers arrive at Kew Woods in Southport

Old Southport’s green places are vanishing fast.
Mature Southport trees (healthy and of various species) were recently destroyed in a chain saw blitz, at the old Victorian Kew Woods location.

This is bad news for resident bats, birds and local mammals that used the place as a mini eco-sanctuary. So-called 'legal protection' of species appears to mean nothing. It’s no wonder that wildlife is suffering ever-diminishing numbers across the UK.

Crimes against nature – the innocent...

Where do Southport Churches stand on Clergy Abuse against children?

Is it right and proper that the sacrament of so-called confession should protect abusive clergy against exposure and criminal prosecution?
In the Roman Catholic Church, the Seal of Confession is the absolute duty of priests not to disclose anything that they learn from penitents during the course of the Sacrament of Penance (confession).
Nevertheless, the heinous spectre of clergy sex abuse against children recently raised its ugly head again. Latest reports indicate that the Church is still in...
