Updated Release Plans

I always knew 2019 was going to be the year of re-releases for me. All my contracts were going to be expiring with my publisher, including the seven-year, omg-will-it-ever-end? contract for Fall Into You. And if you can’t tell by that description alone, I was ready to get my hands on that manuscript and edit the living hell out of it! Haha.

I love the freedom of self-publishing, so I’m excited about what’s to come.

So, a lot of what I’ll be releasing in the coming months will be re-edited or...

Feathers From the Sky

All Cal wants for Christmas is a little privacy…

Cal isn’t enjoying the Christmas holiday, stuck in an overcrowded house with his huge family. His only solace is that Philip will soon arrive.

He’s worried introducing Philip as his boyfriend rather than his roommate could put a damper on the holiday season, but his dad drops a bigger bomb: the family home will be sold.

Derailed from coming out, Cal makes it his mission to squeeze every ounce out of his last holiday in his childhood home. But...

All I Want

Family time, winter fun, and romantic surprises.

Heading home for the holidays is stressful enough, but pile secrets atop carefully wrapped presents, and it’s enough to turn anyone into a Grinch. But as the year comes to a close, surprises might spell new beginnings.

Amy Aislin – The Nature of the Game

Thank you for joining me to celebrate the release of my newest m/m sports romance, The Nature of the Game, and thank you so much to Posy Roberts for having me!

The Nature of the Game, book two in the Stick Side series, is a second chance romance. Six years ago, the main characters—Ash and Dan—were in a relationship that didn’t end well. They haven’t spoken since then and now, all of a sudden, they’re back in each other’s lives.

The inspiration for The Nature of the Game came while I was writ...

Kindle Unlimited Listings

Over the weekend, I put all my self-published books on Kindle Unlimited. The entire trilogy of North Star is available bundled for the first time, and Sliver Scars hasn’t been on KU for ages.

You can try KU for free for a month to see if you like it before you commit, like I did. Or you can outright buy each of the books on Amazon too.

Hover over each cover for links.

Every Day is Earth Day

Back in college I took an environmental studies class. I loved it and, as many a cocky freshman does, went back home to show my mother all I’d learned about reduce, reuse, recycle.

And it blew up my face. Spectacularly. Because my mom was the one who schooled me.

She is a child of the Depression and WWII, so every resource was used until it could be used no more, and then it was relegated to another use, maybe cleaning or in the garden or in the garage.

I was lucky to be raised with her infl...

Childhood Toys

Autism Fact: Many children affected by autism also benefit from other interventions such as speech and occupational therapy.

I’m lucky to be a part of RJ Scotts’ Autism Awareness Blog Hop again, and this year we’re talking toys, something I’m passionate about. I worked for two decades as an educator and family therapist before I started writing full time, and in another life, I would’ve loved being a toy researcher, helping find the best toys for kids.

My passion stems from the knowledge tha...

Naked Organics – KU

[image error] [image error]

I’ve put Naked Organics back on Kindle Unlimited again. It’s been out of KU for a good nine months, so if you subscribe, now is your chance to read Jude & Hudson’s love story. It’s also available to buy from Amazon, and I have signed paperbacks available too. I’m hoping this will be a push for me to get Fresh Earth finished too.

April Goals

A new month, and one where the 1st hits on a Monday. My favorite kinds of months! I have no clue why, but I love my weekly calendar to start on a Monday, so maybe it stems from there.

New month. New beginnings. New goals. Fresh starts.

I’m participating in Camp NanoWriMo, which is the mini National Novel Writing Month thingy they do. You can pick your word count here rather than being forced to write 50,000 words. I did it way back when, I believe during their first year, and that’s when I wr...
