Journaling Small Victories
I want to be a bullet journaler. I really, really, really do, but Im so bad about doing it. I have stencils, washi tape, stamps, markers and colored pencils in every pretty color imaginable, and even gorgeous fountain pens I love writing with. But I never find the time to sit down to set up a layout that works for me.
So last year I went another route. I bought the Clever Fox Planner, undated so I could come and go since I always feel guilty buying a dated planner and then not using a quarter...

Social Discombobulation

Im an author who writes at home, an editor who works from home, and a mom who used to homeschool. I enjoy being at home, so I thought all this social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19 would be fairly easy for me.
Its not, and its for reasons I didnt expect.
Im all over the map with my emotions. I have this intense desire to nest and spring clean. I could go to town on my cupboards and closets and drawers, but that desire is warring...

The Transition to Social Isolation
Social isolation sounds scary. It sounds like being cut off from everyone we love, unable to speak to them to find out whats going on in their lives. Thankfully, with the modern-day inventions, we have multiple tools to help us stay in touch. We arent relying on the Pony Express to get news from our loved ones or the world.
But being stuck at home is a shift for a lot of people. This goes beyond a long weekend or a planned vacation. This is vastly different. There will be a transition time....

Socks for an Otter

He fell from his ivory tower and landed in the gutter…
But Sebastian would rather be homeless and hungry than clueless.
On his way to the food pantry, a guy on his cell phone runs into him and triggers his prickly side. As a sign of goodwill, Louis offers to cook for him. But all Sebastian sees is the privilege he used to have.
This isn’t a fairytale. Louis isn’t Prince Charming. And Sebastian can make it on his own.
But it’s been days since he’s had a hot meal. And a blizzard is coming.

Heartwarming Holidays

Holiday romance has a special place in my heart, so much so that I got married between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Writing this books definitely borrows a bit from my own life. Walking out after saying “I do,” the snowflakes were so big, they looked like feathers. My in-laws’ house is packed during the holidays, so there’s that. I also know how inconvenient a holiday wedding is for everyone else.
I’m thrilled to release this second edition. I was able to flesh the stories out a bit more....

Farm Fresh – Consent

Farm Fresh isn’t your average romance. First off, it’s set on a commune where free love is more prevalent than committments. Second, every house on Kaleidoscope Garden’s sets up their own rules, and at the yellow house, where Leo, Hudson, and Charlie have lived, it was sex without strings. They all loved each other, but there wasn’t romance.
When Jude, a fresh-faced innocent, moves into the yellow house, he shifts the sexual dynamic incredibly. Hudson feels things he’s never felt for anyone...
