Journal: Vintage Blackberries

~ So excited that someone purchased a copy of my vintage blackberry writing journal on Amazon.  It's only been up there since January 2023 with zero sales but better late than never I guess.  I've always loved journals, stationary, and ephemera and thought this would be a fun project to undertake.  I'm just happy to have sold a copy, how wonderful!Amazon Link HereP.S. Biopsy Results

~ Feeling grateful that my biopsy results came back negative.  There are no traces of cancer anywhere...(sigh of relief).  I have a new mammogram scheduled 6 months from now as well as a follow on appt with oncology.

Abandoned: A Ghost Story by Carol McMahon

~ If you're looking for a short ghost tale, you may enjoy Abandoned: A Ghost Story by Carol McMahon on Amazon Kindle.  At the moment, it's also being offered for free, so don't miss out on this great deal. I love the way this author writes, very descriptive and keeps the tension going from the first page. I enjoyed all the details she provided about the abandoned house, an old Victorian

Small Earthquake

~ Nothing like a small earthquake to remind you that nature is in control.  The time was 7:47 pm, just sitting in bed watching tv and then the room starts to tremble and shake.

Partial Mastectomy

~ Well, the surgery went well and I'm so full of gratitude to be here and to be able to type this blog post.  I probably sound a bit dramatic but I was really worried going into surgery.  Never been a fan of general anesthesia but it was all good.  The last thing I remember was the surgeon talking to me and me answering while realizing that my speech was slurring..lol.  The

Mammogram

~ I know this post will seem like it came out of nowhere but here it is...ladies, if you are 40 and over, please make sure to get your annual mammogram.  There are no excuses for not doing this no matter how busy you are or what's happening in your life.  I put off getting my mammogram last year because honestly, there was a lot going on at home and I didn't feel at the time, it was

Dark academia | Reading books in the Farm house on autumn days with gent...

~ This is one of my favorite playlists to put on and listen to while I'm doing other things around the house. It's beautiful yet melancholic at the same time.

Rest In Peace, Brave Maya

~ So...this post has taken me some time to write.  My brave dog, Maya, passed away last Thursday, November 9th, at home with all of us.  It was so sudden, one day she had the symptoms of a stomach virus, then a few days later she passed away.  I watched her take her last breaths and let me tell you, that is something you will never forget...ever.  She was 15 years old, quite a
