Amy Joy Lutchen's Blog: Renhala Holiday Sale!!, page 6

My first book blogger review!
Feeling all warm and fuzzy, I could squeeze someone right now...
Mallory-Mallory Heart Reviews says:
"A complex and multileveled contemporary fantasy, with its anchor in our world set in Chicago, "Renhala" keeps readers riveted and easily suspending disbelief while exploring an alternate world, at times lovelier than our own, at times horrifying and dangerous. Young Kailey undergoes a brutal and inexplicable assault, and through it finds that she has unheeded powers and abilities, and so do some of those around her. It is rather as if she looks through a glass table top and sees an entire other world co-existing with her own reality.
Author Amy Jo Lutchen demonstrates an incredible grasp of world-building. There are enough new species, locales, geographies, and cultures involved here to populate five volumes! Yet the tapestry of the two worlds is tautly woven and readily kept in mind as the plot swiftly unfolds."

What's got 52 focused and staring eyes, enough energy to power a locomotive, and the ability to melt a woman's heart? The local daycare children and teachers who hosted their local author, that's who! Thank you for letting me share such a precious moment with your all-too precious children.
Oh yes, I was very scared with the undivided attention, and even though I did read Kiki as Cuckoo (ONCE!), it was one of the best literary experiences of my life...

So, I am sitting on a stalled train right now, due to the train ahead of us hitting a car--poor people--and I decided to let everyone know of some foul info on the intranet. I decided to look up the reasoning behind witches having broomsticks, and Jinkies! Let's just say people are talking about hallucinogenic drugs and body parts. My goodness! Isn't Halloween sacred anymore? Oh, maybe that's Easter.

Ummmm...So am I considered a bad parent when I sleep on Egyptian 1000 thread count sheets and my children sleep on licensed-character, sweatshop 10 thread count?

I finally did it! Took a lot of courage, but finally thought, "What the heck, why hold onto this? I'll share." My four year long project is finally finished! But, actually, when sitting here thinking about it, it's not, really. Now comes what I've feared almost the most: MARKETING! Ugh. So if anyone is interested in making my life a bit easier, I'd love for you to spread the word to as many people as you can. Tell family, and friends, fellow citizens at the DMV, strangers at opposite gas pumps, and maybe even whisper to those sitting in adjacent bathroom stalls. Whatever your form of speaking to the world, is fine with me. And if you happen to know anyone with a blog who reviews fantasy books, you are now my best friend.
Thanks to everyone out there who supported me, 'cause this would have never have happened without you!

For all of you asking about the book, I must let you know that I have decided to publish Renhala as an ebook, only. It will be available online at both Amazon.com and Smashwords.com. Sorry to all those who wanted a physical edition, 'cause it won't be happening. The price for such a hefty book would have been astronomical, and I don't want anyone having to pay an arm and a leg for a book.
