Good morning--wait it's afternoon already (at least here). Damn, where does the time go? I hope everyone is having a good weekend. My weekend has been most enjoyable, and there's still more to come: dinner with my great aunt, Irma, who is 91 years old! WOOT! Aunt Irma is a most adorable, little Italian woman that nobody can help falling in love with. I want to hug her and squeeze her forever!

Hey! I've got fun stuff in the works: book tours, book #2...

Hey! I've got fun stuff in the works: book tours, book #2 of the Renhala series almost finished, a print version of Renhala, and a NEW website! I bet you're so excited, right? Jumping up and down with joy? What? No?!? Fine, then I'll do it for you.

First off, I've got two tours coming up, each with a grand prize giveaway of $100 at Amazon, two Renhala magnets, and tea. Make sure you enter to win, for the probability of winning, well, might be very good for you. I'll post the sites tomorrow.

Second, Book #2, Golden Dunes of Renhala, is coming along very nicely. SQUEE!! I can't wait for you to read it.

Thirdly, print (paperback) of Renhala is coming!! YAY! Ok, can I just say that getting this version together has been the biggest pain in my ass, ever? I don't like Word...at all.

Last, but not least, a new website is coming within the next few days. Once it's finished, I'll most definitely pass along the info of the most-wonderful designer that is putting it together. He has been a blast to work with! He is so good at what he does, and totally doesn't give me attitude about what I do and do not want to do :). That's a plus in my book.

Wow, I haven't posted in a LONG time. How rude of me.

So, I've taken a break from blogging and took a walk on the marketing side. Dang, it's HARD! It's absolute torture trying to convince someone, who doesn't know one iota about you, that they really need to look at something you spent years slaving over. Why should they? Their time is precious, too. Why should they invest a week or two in a no name when they could be reading high profile winners?

Well, I've found some really wonderful people out there willing to take this chance, and I am extremely grateful for their compassionate souls and willingness to take a chance with me. It takes a special person to designate such a large amount of time for something that could completely suck.

I hope they are pleasantly surprised.
