Hello..:) My name is Cristina…:)

I am a published author,  passionate about writing and totally in love with this craft:)  I live in Bucharest/Romania.

I wrote my first book ( a romance novel called Seductive Ambiguity ) at the age of 21 and shortly after, I published it. The book was very well received by the critics and in January 2011, I was rewarded with Mihai Eminescu International Literature Prize. I`ve  appeared on national televisions- TVR Cultural and BI TV giving interviews  about my book and likewise, the award I was given.

In May 2011, I finished writing the manuscript of my second novel Noble Temptation ( a 930 page epochal novel) which will be released in 2013. Along that, I write articles for literary magazines and posts on her blogs.  I also write Stories for Children but writing novels is my favorite kind of work. I love interacting with other writers so I started my own online group called Creative Writing Source.

At a personal level, I love doing simple things that bring great joy to my soul. I am very curious about Life and its mystery. I think that it is the supreme gift for us, human beings. I like very much to travel and to always meet new people. Finding out about new cultures, places, new unexplored territories…this is what keeps my curiosity about life alert.

Elisabeth Waidhofen is a beautiful young girl from the village of Vosendorf, Austria. Her beauty and sharp mind can’t handle anymore the limitations of the rural lifestyle so she ventures to the capital of the country, Vienna. The Ball of the Tea is a festival held every year at the Schonbrunn Palace. As a leading tea producer, count Andreas von Hochwaltmont is there, proudly presenting his new tea flavors. When attending it, Elisabeth has no idea that she is about to be thrown into the sweet realm of love.  She fears giving in, but Andreas`s deep green eyes and charm won`t leave her at peace so easily. Andreas has everything he needs in order to make any woman sighed. On the other hand, Andreas is himself intrigued by this fascinating young lady. He is well aware of the “respectful” ladies from the Viennese aristocracy but what is it with Elisabeth that he can`t take his eyes off her? It started as a play for him. Another woman? Yes, why not? After all, she is beautiful and so damn elegant! For this, Andreas is ready to play the game! However, soon he will discover that Elisabeth is more than that. Her warm and noble soul makes him fall in love with her completely, but there is an obstacle between them. What is this obstacle? What secret is keeping Horst Volker, the mayor of Vosendorf? A secret that is directly related to Elisabeth`s father? And  Karl von Becker, Andreas`s worst enemy, what dirty charade will he play over Andreas`s sister, Christine…?

Interview:

1) What is the working title of your book?

“Noble Temptation”

2) Where did the idea come from for your book?

I`ve always had a crush on Austria and 18-century, as far as I can remember:) So, while I was writing my first novel, I promised myself that the second novel will have this place and this location. I started writing and the plot was so great that I fell for it, completely! It`s mostly fiction, but it also has true historical facts.

3) What genre does your book fall under?

Definitely romance, but it has the touch of a thriller too. Betrayal, revenge, love, suicide, psychology, history…Are involved as well.

4) Which actors would you choose to play in your movie rendition?

For Elisabeth Waidhofen, I would choose Aishwarya Rai but with blue eyes and for Andreas Hochwaltmont, I would choose the Italian actor Giulio Berutti.

5) What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?

Elisabeth and Andreas meet at the Annual Tea Bal, which is held every year at the Schonbrunn palace. They know that they are made one for each other, but external circumstances and also persons interfere, complicating things.

6) Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

I’m publishing through Create space on Amazon but I’m searching for a good agent and publisher too.

7) How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Two days.

8)  What other books would you compare this story to?

Maybe Gone with the Wind, by Margaret Mitchell.

9) Who or what inspired you to write the book?

My love for Austria and my alert interest & fascination for the 18-century.

10) What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

a)Elisabeth and Andreas, as  the rest of the characters, have many lessons to learn, lessons which make them stronger, wiser, more spirituality awake. This is an advantage for any reader, if they seek growth-on any level.

b) The reader is taken not into one single dimension, but in several, at the same time; because the plot and the action develop themselves on more than just one perspective. The novel has around 50 characters, so each of them has to have their own evolution and therefore, the novel is not linear

c) The reader is taken to many places in Austria, so the plot doesn`t happen entirely in Vienna. The reader will see both the Austrian countryside and city.

d)The reader is graciously taken into the elegance of the 18-th century; they will go to balls, with the characters; they will meet the high class of the aristocracy and they`ll be introduced to some of the Austrian customs, way of living and food.

e)I simply love my characters. I think they are strongly built and they know what they have to do. I`ve been told that while reading, the reader was so into the story, so close to the characters as if they could nearly touch them. My characters have a solid structure; some of them are really evil, but they`ll have their lesson to learn.

A note on writing…

Having been blessed to enjoy the friendship of many fellow writers, published and unpublished,  I’ve been party to many conversations on the art and craft of writing.    I’ve also occasionally been asked to critique stories.   So I collected some of the things I’ve learned over the years into a short essay.

Those who write purely for their own and others’ entertainment, or aren’t interested in critical feedback or going pro–bail now.

Please note:  there’s nothing wrong with eschewing critical feedback.  Ultimately, to entertain is the goal of ALL writers, even Pulitzer winners.

In writing fiction, the writer attempts to touch the capacity of the heart.  Stories which fail to do so are meaningless, no matter how stylistically artistic.  Myself,   I prefer stories which have heart and are well written.   The better written the story, the more effective it is at entertaining readers and conveying any themes or points the author may wish to convey.

So studying the craft of writing is not elitist,  but very,  very pragmatic.

What follows is commentary on various technical aspects of writing:  the nuts and bolts of narrative.   Only 10% of writing is talent (maybe less),  another 30% is having something interesting to say. The rest is being able to say it well.    Talent and content amount to little without skill,  and skill is what we learn.  cristina istrati

To be frank,  the best way to learn is to find a mentor who will teach and do that tedious–but very necessary–task of detailed critique on a hardcopy manuscript. Writing,  like bread-baking,  is fundamentally existential:  a hands-on experience.

But not everyone is lucky enough to find a writing mentor,  so general scatter-shot advice does have some value,  particularly concerning those things which are frequent technical offenses among beginning and intermediate writers.

So, how can one know if he or she is guilty of ____?   I have found that as soon as a particular problem was pointed out to me,  I could recognize it in my work. I simply hadn’t realized it was a problem before that point,  and so had failed to ‘see’ it. If you think you’re guilty of ____,  you probably are.   (If however,  you think you’re guilty of everything, you’re probably just paranoid!)

Finally,  these are rules of thumb,  not absolutes.   Some of them are matters of debate even among award-winning authors.   Ultimately,  the only real rule in writing is,  “Can you make it work?”   If you can make it work,  you can get away with it.

Hope you`ll like this Monday`s post:)

I`ll see you next time!

Write with joy, write with love…

We all have a treasure within.

There is something inside me, don`t know exactly how to call it but I do can say that it`s my most precious thing. People are calling it Soul, but I like calling it Treasure.

Thus, since this is the closest word to my heart, let us call it Treasure. I don`t know where it came from, neither how old it is or where it`s going further. What I know is that this Treasure shines strongly, is in love with life, it likes to be discovered and it has one beautiful and elegant way to expressing itself: through writing. Now, don`t you go asking me for how long is it writing because I wouldn`t know what to answer to that; but I feel that it does so  since the beginning of all times. Its desire and love for writing is timeless and I can feel it singing with great joy when I grab my pen.

Writing is its song and I`m most happy for being this way. This Treasure shares with me great things about God, human kind, about our planet and this is amazing for me. My human mind cannot know all the beautiful and wonderful things which I find out from this Treasure. It is something beyond my human condition, something more extraordinary than that. And what`s even more amazing is that it`s mine. It is my Treasure and I`m most willing to share it with others as it is happy too, when I do that. [image error]

I am very happy and I feel myself blessed for being given such a great gift. I thank God for handing me it and for His great confidence in me that I can handle it.

I love my Treasure; this is the expression that suits  most my feelings. When I`m down, it lifts me up. When I`m sad, it reminds me of the things I`m grateful for and I`m happy again. Along my entire life, it was by my side and expecting nothing in return.

This Treasure amazes me by the way it is, by its beautiful and unique light; everything that is beautiful and joyful bonds with it immediately. Everything that I need or will ever need is in this Treasure within me.

It took me long time to understand this but eventually, I did it. Please forgive me for not being able to do this earlier but I`m here now, I`ve reached this point too. It was a marvelous journey, and along with it, I was able to reach even deeper this Treasure. It was surely worth it when I saw what lies in it. I would do it again, over and over, until I will see it shining in its Greatest Light.

They say life is a fight. Maybe they are right, maybe they are not. But I know that with these Treasures that all human beings are carrying inside, nothing is impossible and humans surely have nothing to be afraid of for these Treasures are bond forever with the Greatest Treasure of all times: God.

You better never forget that; as a matter a fact, you won`t be even able to do that. The little Treasure inside you will always remind you that. Just listen to it and let it sing its own Song. You`ll be amazed…and this is something I can tell you for sure.

I`m happy for sharing this with you…:)

Wishing you a Wonderful Week..!:)

Write with love, write with joy….

Searching for an agent…?

Having a literary agent is one of the best ways to boost your growth as a writer. Most authors simply don’t have the publishing contacts to sell their work and even if they did, they wouldn’t know how to negotiate a book deal or a publishing contract. Here is where the agent comes along…:)

But how do you find a literary agent, and how do you choose the right one, suitable for you? Here are 5 simple tips to help you achieve that…:)

1. Do what you have to.

If you`re trying to find an agent and you are not a) a famous icon or b) some kind of wizard, you will need to have a finished and polished manuscript if you are writing a novel or memoir, and a finished and polished proposal and sample pages if you are working on a nonfiction project. This is the first thing to start with.

2. Target your agents.

Check out the agents’ websites. You need to know about their background, right? Where possible, personalize your letters and use first names when writing to them. It`s work-demanding and likely to take more of your time but it will reap rewards as your letter is less likely to get intercepted by the PAs and secretaries. When you have the target in your mind, it`s easier for you to take action toward it! cristina istrati

3. Learn about the Business.

It`s better if you can learn about the publishing business while you’re writing your novel and building your credibility. Go to major writing conferences and get in touch with agents and authors. While you`re doing that, present yourself as a professional writer (even if you`re not one, just yet!) and speak to them with much confidence about yourself and your books. When agents meet someone who is confident about their work, they are even more interested. Oh, and don`t forget about…the information. You want to know as much as you can about the business. When an agent comes knocking, you want to appear savvy, well-informed and smart.

4. No referrals? Open the Word file and start writing a query letter.

A query letter is a short letter that describes your work. You should adapt and personalize your basic letter depending on which agent you’re submitting to in order to demonstrate your aforementioned professionalism and knowledge.

5. Hey, don`t panic…

If this does not work, don’t take it personally. Just move on. Once you reach the summit (here comes the laborious alpine metaphor again), it won’t matter how many falls you had along the way. The important (if not, vital!) thing is to never give up. I know you`ve heard it before, but it is Really important. I mean it. If you still haven`t found the right agent for you, keep writing and keep sending queries to the agents. Eventually, the agent (for you!) will show up. We wouldn`t have had any Harry Potter if J.K. Rowling would have given up on query the agents, right?:) So, take it easy and keep doing your work…:) It`s inspiring..!:)

See you next time..!:)

Write with love, write with joy…:)

How Twitter can help you as a writer…

Twitter. I am sure you`ve heard about it, right? The great social network with a little blue bird icon…:) You know it, don`t you? Well, what you may not know is that this “little blue bird”can actually help you expand your business. Yes, any business. In our case…your writing business:)

Indeed, Twitter can be a great tool for every writer who wants to expand himself and his writing. After all, regardless of how wonderful the writer can write, he/she still needs a small ingredient called Popularity. How can the writer achieve that, and how can Twitter help…? Read below…

Less is more. This is a statement which I`m pretty convinced you`re aware of. As modernists, we accept this maxim for architecture, design, and just about any art form —so why can’t it be true for writing?

I firmly believe that tweeting itself is not a new art form, and that expressive fragments have existed  for as long as writing has existed. But speaking of  Twitter as an internet exchange, I have a theory that Twitter—if used correctly—can actually make you a better writer. No, I’m not talking about the “lol’s” and the RT’s and all other short forms that Twitter has spawned( although I have to admit that I like them a lot:)) but rather of the mechanics of Twitter. [image error]

For instance,  we all know that Twitter has a character limit: tweets must be 140 characters or less. Because of this character limit, users are forced to keep it short and less wordy with language.  R.Z. Sheppard once said that “Adjectives are the potbelly of poetry.”  Similarly, Stephen King once said that “The road to hell is paved with adjectives.” Twitter leaves very little room for adjectives: after all, why would you waste any of your precious characters on   “very” or “really” when you could actually be saying something substantial and straight to the point? This is why Twitter exists. If you want to write more and have a larger number of characters, you`ll have to go on some other social networks, because Twitter isn`t build for that.

Personally, I love making quick updates on my Twitter account. It`s so great! And I like it very much!:) Whether it`s about my writing or any other activity of mine, Twitter is a wonderful way to let your followers know what you`re up to…:) Like yesterday, one of my tweets was:” Enjoying a delicious cup of green tea…I`m loving it!:)”. Pretty nice, isn`t it?

How else can Twitter help you?

I`m following some very good writers on Twitter. The other day I`ve noticed that one of them uses her Twitter account to update her fans and try out fragments of thought( or excerpts from upcoming works). Oftentimes, I’ll see a tweet like that the writer`s tweet stream, and later, I’ll hear the line in one of her spoken word pieces. This means that she`s using  Twitter as a kind of testing ground for her more developed writings. So, you can do that too. Tweet little pieces from your works and ask your followers what do they think on it. This will give you great further ideas on how to add/remove/improve that work. Your followers are your audience, and if you wouldn`t ask them, who then?

Many journalists/writers also use Twitter to try out ideas. Whenever you`re reading tweets of other writers, you can get great ideas on almost anything! For example, the idea of writing this article on Twitter came to me when I saw a tweet from one of my followers. He tweeted:” I love Twitter. It helps me, but how could I use it even more?”

And finally, Twitter makes you more aware of your audience as a writer. Since a tweet is essentially a thought “gone public” the best tweeters demonstrate a keen awareness of their audience. “The beauty of Twitter is the unfollow button” “If you don’t like what someone’s tweeting, or if you feel they’re inauthentic, you don’t have to follow that person anymore.”

Hope you`ll find the article helpful!:)

See you next time and…keep Tweeting!:)

Finding your creative zone

When writing (or any other art), before actually getting down to work, you need to sit back a moment and try to reach your muse, your inner creative “tank”.

This will not only make the process go easy and smoothly, but you`ll also have that abundant flow which allows you to fully express your writing.

So far, so good. But how do we trigger our muse and how can we get into that state of phenomenal creating? Well, here`s how…

Getting into the Creative Zone…[image error]

The first thing you want to do before you begin writing is to get into the creative zone- that magical place where everything comes out exactly the way you want it.

How do you know what your creative zone is? How do you know when you are in it? What does it look like and how does it feel?

I`ve asked other writers and authors as well, what their creative zones were like and how they get there. It is different for everyone.

The one thing that I found was true for everyone was that when they started to speak about it, their eyes shined and their voices sounded more cheerfully.

That “special place” is a magical place for sure, where you are totally “into” what you are doing, like relishing a fine meal, enjoying passionate sex or losing yourself in a fantastic movie.

In this heightened, creative state, you are totally concentrated and focused and your energy is pulsing through you. This is “the zone” where all creativity flourishes.

When you are in your creative zone, you feel:

♠Happy and excited- can`t wait to get started!

♠Inspired- overflowing with ideas!

♠You feel like flying- everything happens so easily!

♠Juicy- You have lots of content, ready to come out!

Does this ring a bell for you? If so, then you know exactly what I`m talking about. Once you get here, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to writing; the outcome of this will be pure astonishment, starting with yourself.  That`s right, You. You`ll be surprised by your own creation.

How do you get there? Well, what is that particular thing that makes you happy, or at least smile? Is it a beautiful song? Is it a delicious meal? Maybe you enjoy nature? How about for a walk there?  Or perhaps, you love to simply watch people, observing them?

What is it that makes you feel good? Choose whatever makes you happy for it is that particular thing that will take you into your creative realm.

Write with joy, write with love!

See you next time!

Nature is the ultimate Muse…

Whenever I think about nature, I feel very good. It seems to me that I don`t have a particular explanation for this; only that, it is what happens when I do so. You see, nature has a very special meaning for me and I tend to think that I`m not the only one who feels this way.

People love nature, they always have. Even if they don`t realize this, they will always return to the shelter of it because the connection between humans and nature is much more powerful and strong than we might consider.

People have longed for nature`s beauty and comfort since the beginning of all times; poets have praised it in their poetry, writers have written about it in their stories and they still do that. People have searched for its mysteries and ways for thousand of years. Most probably, they will continue doing so because nature is an endless source o[image error]f inspiration and magic for them.

Nature, in my opinion, is the supreme refuge for mankind.

It is a marvel! And you can start seeing it this way if you`ll just observe it carefully. Nature means Love. Nature means Revival. Nature means Generosity.

Have you ever noticed how it gives us everything without expecting anything back? It just gives, and gives, and gives…All of it is for us.

I like to associate nature with the waves of the ocean or whit the gorgeous blossomed flower. The ocean doesn`t know it makes waves and still, it does them. Neither does the ocean know if those waves are admired or not, appreciated or not…It just makes them.

The same goes for the flower. It takes time for the plant to grow and when coming to its maturity, a delicate flower blossoms. The flower might be loved or not, it might be gazed at or not, or…it can be ripped apart.

Even so, the plant takes all these risks and “gives birth” to that rose, tulip or daffodils, anyway. It is simple nature`s way. We can learn so much from it! If we`d watch it closely, in deep silence and meditation, we would be so filled up with its joy, love, with its unconditional giving. Nature is Harmony, nature is Balance and nature is Wisdom.

When we listen to it in quietness, we are given the answers to our most burning questions, and nature does this so gladly and willingly! There`s nothing more wonderful on this planet than to be connected with your Source and to notice everything that is around you. The people, the beaches, the sea, the grass, the trees…All of it are a treasure and it shines so heavenly!

If you would see how marvelous this world is and how many wonders is out there, you`ll be moved to tears. Every single detail wears the divine and perfect touch of our Creator and everything is as it should be. Nature takes care of everything.

It is like a caring mother for us and blessed is that soul who can praise its beauty for his eyes will see Magnificence beyond his imagination. His life will be a continuous ride of adventure, joy, gratitude and love. Nothing can be compared with nature and so it will be forever.

Protect nature. Love nature. Appreciate nature.

When everybody else lets you down, turn your gaze towards nature. It is your biggest friend and will never disappoint you; instead, it will fill you with its unique spirit and then, you will start to see life differently.

You`ll see the Glory of it, you`ll see the Marvel of this planet, you`ll see the Greatness that is within you. You`ll smile again and with confidence, you will move forward on your journey. You will have a life like nothing before and this is only the beginning. This is the Miracle of Nature.

Hope you`ll like the post…:)

Love, Peace, Harmony…

Writing voice…?

This is a very important step. In order to be fully aware of yourself as a writer, it is most indicated for you to know your own “writing voice”.

Every writer has one, even if they are or not aware of it. Some writers have worked so much on expressing their true voice that these writers have written ageless masterpieces (Like Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Balzac, Hugo…etc.)

It is significant to know your own voice. This will give you trust and a higher self-confidence.

In one of his books, Les Edgerton speaks about the best way to find your voice. He says that the path is to write autobiographically. “Writers will never find a powerful, evocative voice until they learn to be bone-deep honest with themselves, open and vulnerable.”

Personally, I think Mr. Edgerton has a very strong point and I agree with him.

In my experience, the best writers are the ones who dig deep within themselves and pull out the rawest pieces of who they are, filling up their pages with words that leave their audiences asking more.

If I could interview a writer whom I admire, I would most want to know what helped him or her get to that magical place.

It’s not news that people are shaped by their environment, life experiences, and values, and that their uniqueness is expressed in almost everything they do.

Given these circumstances, what sets one person apart from another? How do writers’ experiences shape them?

In my research, I found out that the best way to the process of self-exploration is by getting answers to the following questions:

*What is present when you are at your best?

*What are your strengths?[image error]

*What are you exhilarated about?

*Is there something you cannot live without?

*What are your principles and what do they say about who you are?

*What do you want more of?

Furthermore, writers must be aware of their limitations, to learn what their weaknesses are so they can start the process of moving from a place of stagnation to success. To clarify writers’ limitations, a good exercise is to list any fears, issues, and resentments linked with their writing projects. Some examples of self-exploratory questions that can assist with this process are:

*What habits hinder your creativity?

*When do you resist writing?

*Where are you too comfortable?

*Where is the place you don’t want to go?

*What are you tolerating?

*What do you want less of?

I ask writers to remember why they choose to write and to think about what they want to create with their works. To explore this subject even further, we have these questions:

*What successes must you draw from to keep going?

*How can you take your failures and turn them into lessons to be learned?

*How can your losses serve you?

*What contribution do you want to make?

*What helps you to enjoy the process and to allow your project take shape in its own time?

Take your time and answer these questions carefully. Look deep inside you and find the answers. This will shape your writer’s identity and will give you a clearer idea about your writing voice.

I`ll talk to you next time!:)

My best of wishes to you..:)

You get to choose.

I`m sure that along the years you`ve heard things like: It is your life or the choice is yours. I like these affirmations and I absolutely agree with them, as they show a big part of your life. It is indeed yours, and so is the choice.

We were born with it. Free will was within us from the very first day we saw the sun light. Of course, we need to grow in order to use it and to be aware of it but it is there, inside us.

What do you choose? What do you choose for yourself? For your life? Everything is about choosing and about what you decide upon.

There`s no one and never will be who could say or force you: I want you to choose this because I want it so or because it`s good for your life. No, most definitely not.

No one can do that to you and no one knows better than yourself what`s the best thing for your life. No one. You are the only person who knows and can decide what is well for you. [image error]

People often say: Oh, but I can`t choose that because of this situation or because of him or her…

That is not true.

You always get to choose, no matter the circumstances. But it`s very important how you see this freedom of deciding for yourself and also, the whole context in which you are making that decision.

If you feel good about it and no person gets hurt as a consequence, then go for it.

I am very happy that God granted us with this gift called Free Will. I see it as being a  marvelous thing! Can you picture yourself having this liberty and then stepping into life, only selecting what you want/like? Isn`t it heavenly?

I like this; no, I don`t like this but instead I want that and I`m most curios to try out this thing over here…! It`s so fun!

Nothing but choosing, choosing and choosing! This is the essence of life. You choose what you want and you get what you choose, in a joyful harmony!

Don`t be afraid, as God is always with you, guiding you through all these choices so that you can be inspired to act only upon those that serve your higher self.

So, I invite you to step outside and clearly select what you wish for without any fears. When you choose what you want/like, you feel good and when you feel good, Life unfolds spectacular for you.

Hope you`ve enjoyed this topic!:) Let me know, ok? Would love that!:)

Stay well and have a great time..:)

Give your writing its rightful place! (2)

Hi there…:)

So we`ve started last week our 10 ways trip in kicking off your writing habit..:) Pretty great, isn`t it? Well, let`s continue our journey with the last 5 hints, ok?:) Let`s go…

Write nothing but headlines.

At times the thought of writing an in-depth article( story, essay…etc) is too much for your brain to deal with after a long day (or at the start of one). Spend  30 minutes just churning out headlines without worrying about how catchy they sound. You may not be in the mood to write an article from scratch, but if you keep building a collection of headlines you give yourself a million of options. The more headlines you add to your list, the more likely you’ll find something you’re in the mood to write on at any given moment. Which of them inspire you most?:)

Keep your head down.

Stop thinking of the bigger project. Keep your head down and just take it one step at a time. As you repeat these steps, you can work up to more writing as it feels appropriate. When I started writing my last novel, all I could bring myself to do was 1 hour per day. Now I’m writing more. You’ll work up to it. Just take it one word at a time for now. [image error]

Start a new story.

Take a favorite beginning and use it as the start of a new story. When the story is finished, go back and write your own beginning. This is an excellent way to stop yourself agonizing over your first paragraph.

Work in depth.

Try “visualization”. I`m sure you`ve heard about it before, right? It`s really easy; I`m using it myself…:) How will visualization help you? Well, the great thing about is that it helps you going deeper within your mind; it helps you reach that part of your brain where you`re conscious part can`t get. You got it…:) it`s about the Subconscious. In there are all the ideas, memories, feelings, events( and more…:P) that help you write a marvelous book! Some of them can come to you even during the day, when you`re doing your daily activities. But some of them come come to you only when your mind is quiet and prepared: prepared for the visualization moment. That is why, I highly recommend & visualization & meditation.

Take your writing seriously.

Avoid saying, “I have no time.” “I’m too busy.” Those words are self-fulfilling prophecies. They are the most overused sentences by all of us. If you really want to write you will find the time. You may have to give up something else you are doing to have the writing time you need. Instead say, “I will find the time.” “My book is important to me. I will write.”

Discipline yourself. Divide up your days and devote time to writing every day – 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 1 hour or more each day.  Write when you are most creative. If you are a morning person get up an hour earlier and write. If you are a night writer, go to bed an hour later.  Make use of “dead time.” Have a notebook with you at all times and write on the train, plane, and coffee shop. You can even record your thoughts while driving with a good hands-free recorder.

Here you have them..:) 10 brilliant writing ways to improve your writing& making writing a strong habit…:)

Write with joy, write with love..:)
