Finding your creative zone
When writing (or any other art), before actually getting down to work, you need to sit back a moment and try to reach your muse, your inner creative “tank”.
This will not only make the process go easy and smoothly, but you`ll also have that abundant flow which allows you to fully express your writing.
So far, so good. But how do we trigger our muse and how can we get into that state of phenomenal creating? Well, here`s how…
Getting into the Creative Zone…[image error]
The first thing you want to do before you begin writing is to get into the creative zone- that magical place where everything comes out exactly the way you want it.
How do you know what your creative zone is? How do you know when you are in it? What does it look like and how does it feel?
I`ve asked other writers and authors as well, what their creative zones were like and how they get there. It is different for everyone.
The one thing that I found was true for everyone was that when they started to speak about it, their eyes shined and their voices sounded more cheerfully.
That “special place” is a magical place for sure, where you are totally “into” what you are doing, like relishing a fine meal, enjoying passionate sex or losing yourself in a fantastic movie.
In this heightened, creative state, you are totally concentrated and focused and your energy is pulsing through you. This is “the zone” where all creativity flourishes.
When you are in your creative zone, you feel:
♠Happy and excited- can`t wait to get started!
♠Inspired- overflowing with ideas!
♠You feel like flying- everything happens so easily!
♠Juicy- You have lots of content, ready to come out!
Does this ring a bell for you? If so, then you know exactly what I`m talking about. Once you get here, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to writing; the outcome of this will be pure astonishment, starting with yourself. That`s right, You. You`ll be surprised by your own creation.
How do you get there? Well, what is that particular thing that makes you happy, or at least smile? Is it a beautiful song? Is it a delicious meal? Maybe you enjoy nature? How about for a walk there? Or perhaps, you love to simply watch people, observing them?
What is it that makes you feel good? Choose whatever makes you happy for it is that particular thing that will take you into your creative realm.
Write with joy, write with love!
See you next time!
