Just Some Random

So since I've been sitting around on a computer a lot lately because I've been writing like a mad woman, it's important that I find some time to work out. My husband and I have an elliptical trainer in the living room so it can't be easily avoided so once I get my writing done for the day, it's time to work out. I know it sounds strange but I enjoy working out to TV shows to music so I thought to myself...what are some of my favorite things to watch while I'm trying to burn calories? I want to laugh but I want to be able to focus. Here are some of my faves:

1) 2 Broke Girls
2) The Big Bang Theory
3) That 70s Show
4) How I Met Your Mother
5) Degrassi (Total guilty pleasure)

Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I usually work out for 40 mins so I can either watch an 'hour long' show or two shorter episodes. I would love to here some suggestions because the more I write, the more I sit which means the more I need to work out. Lol!!

Back in the Groove!

So today was my first day at getting back into writing after my shoulder injury. I still don't like to say that a beagle was the cause of my shoulder strain, but that's what happened and I have finally healed from it. I promised myself that I wasn't going to try and finish my Assist story until I was back in the groove, so instead I decided to try something new, something with no fae, no pixis, no GT, no fantasy, but still with an awkwardly strange romance. I have to say that 4,000 words later, I am still digging this! I'm looking forward to a full day of writing tomorrow but I am also very much looking forward to getting my newest tattoo! A friend of mine on DeviantArt completed an amazing piece of what Cailin from Oath of Servitude would look like and I cannot wait to have this put on my leg, right next to my picture of Lily, a character from my next book called The Promise.

Speaking of The Promise. I am looking for those who may be interested in receiving an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is a standalone book and has nothing to do with The Punishment Sequence. It is a quick and easy read, clocking in at about 50,000 words and if anyone out there is interested, please let me know and I'll put you on a list to receive an ecopy.

Hmmm...I suppose that's about it. Thanks for reading guys and happy reading and writing to all.

The Promise in Progress

It's always tough working on a first draft. Now that Oath of Servitude is out, I feel more excited than ever to put out my first standalone novel called The Promise. It follows the story of a young girl called Lily and what happens when she suddenly starts shrinking. It's been a lot of fun to work on and now I'm finally working on finishing the final draft and starting the publishing process, yet again. :-) This also means that I can start working on the second draft of Permanent Shadows, the sequel to Oath of Servitude! Here's to a hopefully busy week!!
