Charmed & Dangerous Now Available!

Charmed & DangerousIt’s finally here! With stories from amazing authors like Rhys Ford, Jordan Castillo Price, KJ Charles, and plenty of others, you can’t go wrong with this anthology. BTW, KJ Charles fans, her story “A Queer Trade” takes place in the Magpie Lord universe and has a cameo from one of my favorite secondary characters in the series.

As for me, I’m very excited to introduce a new world and new characters with my story “The Thirteenth Hex.” Let me know what you think!

Carousel: A Whyborne & Griffin Short Story Reissue

Carousel-Cover_400x600

I’m re-releasing “Carousel” today, a Whyborne & Griffin short story that originally appeared in the anthology Another Place in Time. The story is identical to that release, so if you’ve already grabbed the anthology, you’re good! For those who missed out, when a child goes missing, is it a simple case of a young runaway, or are more sinister forces at work? Haha, this is Widdershins, of course more sinister forces are at work.

“Carousel” takes place between the events of Stormhaven and Necropolis, and is only $0.99 at these fine retailers:

Dangerous Spirits Cover Reveal and Preorder

Dangerous Spirits

I’m so excited to share the cover for Dangerous Spirits, Book 2 in the Spirits Series! I was terrified of ghosts as a kid, and just as with Restless Spirits, while writing this book I incorporated some of the things that really creeped me out.

You can preorder it here, with B&N, iBooks, and Kobo soon to come!

Kindle All Romance eBooks Smashwords

After the events of Reyhome Castle, Henry Strauss expected the Psychical Society to embrace his application of science to the study of hauntings. Instead, the society humiliates and blacklists him. His confidence shaken, he can’t bring himself to admit the truth to his lover, the handsome medium Vincent Night.

Vincent’s new life in Baltimore with Henry is disrupted when a friend from the past asks for help with a haunting. In the remote town of Devil’s Walk, old ties and new lies threaten to tear the lovers apart, if a fiery spirit bent on vengeance doesn’t put an end to them first.

Summary

Magic takes many forms. From malignant hexes to love charms gone amok, you’ll find a vast array of spells and curses, creatures and conjurings in this massive collection—not to mention a steamy dose of man-on-man action. Charmed and Dangerous features all-new stories of gay paranormal romance, supernatural fiction and urban fantasy by ten top m/m paranormal authors.

Rhys Ford – Dim Sum Asylum

For Detective Roku MacCormick, working Arcane Crimes is his passion. Now cleared of any wrongdoing for shooting his last partner, MacCormick is given back his badge… as well as a new case and partner. Trent Leonard isn’t exactly what he’d expected, but then nothing in San Francisco’s Chinatown ever is.

Ginn Hale – Swift and the Black Dog

When Jack Swift killed a tyrant and won the revolution he became a national hero. But someone in the new government prefers dead heroes to living, swearing, cynical wizards. Caught between bullets, revenge and desire, Jack had better be swift indeed.

KJ Charles – A Queer Trade

Apprentice magician Crispin Tredarloe returns to London to find his master dead, and his papers sold. Papers with secrets that could spell death. Waste paper seller Ned Hall can’t resist Crispin’s pleading—and appealing—looks. But can the wasteman and the magician prevent a disaster and save Crispin’s skin?

Nicole Kimberling – Magically Delicious

Occult attacks against NIAD agents aren’t remotely Keith Curry’s department. But when his lover, Gunther, is assaulted, Keith refuses to just sit back and fill out paperwork. He’s on the case—even if that means enraging powerful mages, crossing leprechaun picket lines, or braving dinner with Gunther’s goblin parents.

Jordan Castillo Price – Everyone’s Afraid of Clowns

Psychic medium Victor Bayne can spot a ghost any day of the year, but Halloween holds some special surprises. His psych-groupie boyfriend Jacob coaxes him to the location of an old spirit sighting, but they can’t ghosthunt without enduring a cheesy “haunted house” that’s even more disturbing than they realize.

Jordan L. Hawk – The Thirteenth Hex

Hexman Dominic Kopecky doesn’t understand why dashing crow familiar Rook wants his help investigating murder by patent hex. For one thing, Dominic isn’t a witch. For another, the case is already closed—and someone is willing to kill to keep it that way.

Charlie Cochet – The Soldati Prince

Riley Murrough goes from serving lattes to being chased by demons. If that wasn’t bad enough, he bears the mark of a shapeshifter king from a magical realm. Riley’s determined to get answers, but if the demons out for his blood don’t kill him, the urge to strangle the arrogant king might.

Lou Harper – One Hex Too Many

Veteran detective Mike Mulligan is an expert on violent crimes—of the occult variety. He might even be cursed. Detective Hugh Fox is eager to partner up and prove himself, but Mulligan is accustomed to flying solo. Can they trust each other enough to track a killer who’ll stop at nothing, not even summoning a demon?

Andrea Speed – Josh of the Damned vs. the Bathroom of Doom

It’s a boring night at the Quik-Mart for Josh and his friend Doug. Until a vampire with a grudge—and the most adorable backup ever—crashes the store. Can Josh survive the Bathroom of Doom?

Astrid Amara – The Trouble With Hexes

P.I. Tim Keller has a problem. And the only person who can solve it is his ex-boyfriend, Vincent, whose job as a hexbreaker was the reason they broke up. It’s hard admitting he was wrong, especially when coughing up organs. But there’s a missing person to find, a hexmaker to hunt down, and a romance to repair before Tim breathes his last.

Hang Out with Me at Rainbow Con

Rainbow Con

I can’t believe Rainbow Con is next week already! What happened to the time?

I’m going to host a small, very informal get together so I can say THANK YOU to my wonderful readers in person. We’ll be hanging out at the bar Friday at 6:00 pm if you’d like to stop by. I’ll have some special W&G swag on hand that won’t be available anywhere else. FYI, I only choose the bar because it’s an easy place for everyone to find–it’s okay if you don’t drink! Come hang out with us anyway.

New Release: Mocker of Ravens

mor_400x600

Mocker of Ravens is now available! I’m really excited to return to the world of John, Caleb, and of course, Gray. Reviews have already started to come in – check out this one at The Novel Approach, and enter to win a free book over at Sinfully Addicted to All Male Romance.

In addition to the ebook, the audiobook version is also available! Audible works in mysterious ways; even though we turned in the audio for Mocker of Ravens well after Hoarfrost, Mocker was released first. (So to address the obvious question, Hoarfrost should be out in audio any time!)

Caleb has spent the last six months adjusting to life possessed by the vampire spirit Gray. Unfortunately, after the events of Fort Sumter, the other agents of SPECTR view him more as a ticking time bomb than a co-worker.

The one bright spot is Caleb and Gray’s boyfriend, federal exorcist John Starkweather. But John has problems of his own. A supernatural killer is on the loose in Charleston, stealing the hearts of its victims to extend its own unnatural life.

With the help of a rookie agent, John, Caleb, and Gray must find the killer before it strikes again…or before they become the demon’s next victims.

The Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal + Remnant Art

secret-casebook

So as you probably know already, there are a couple of books coming out tomorrow that might be of interest to you. The one I want to talk about today though is The Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal by awesomesauce writer KJ Charles. I know a lot of you missed the original Simon Feximal story when it came out, which is a shame because a) it was awesome and b) the sex scene was smoking hot. But here’s your chance to grab not only the first story and Butterflies (still available to for free on it’s own, by the way), but an entire novel-length collection of short stories chronicling the adventures (and misadventures) of Simon and Robert. I had the privilege of an early look, and I have to say there is a moment in one of the stories that’s probably the most romantic I’ve read in a long time. Seriously, I’m getting all swoony just thinking about it now.

And, if you haven’t read it yet, “Remnant,” in which Whyborne & Griffin encounter Simon and Robert, is still free at Smashwords and ARe. In honor ofThe Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal, KJ commissioned an incredible piece of Remnant art from fan favorite Lydmila Tsapaeva. Be sure to click through the view it at a larger size!

How amazing is that? I love the looks Griffin and Robert are giving each other, Simon’s glower, and Whyborne being very particular about not getting his feet wet. Seriously amazing.
