Promo Tour for MCV Egan's historical fiction novel, The Bridge of Deaths

The revised edition was published on August 15th 2014.
Official genre of book:
It is Historical Fiction, but it is a blend of Metaphysical, Mystery, Non-fiction and Romance.
Follow Bill and Maggie as they cross THE BRIDGE OF DEATHS into 1939 to uncover the mystery behind the plane crash of the G-AESY. A blend of historical fact and fiction takes the reader through well-known and little known accounts leading up to WWII.
In the winter of 2009-2010 a young executive, Bill is promoted and transferred to London for a major International firm. He has struggled for the better part of his life with nightmares and phobias, which only seem to worsen in London. As he seeks the help of a therapist he accepts that his issues may well be related to a ‘past-life trauma’.
Through love, curiosity, archives and the information superhighway of the 21st century Bill travels through knowledge and time to uncover the story of the 1939 plane crash.

The Bridge of Deaths

Maggie liked Foyles at Charing Cross Road and shopped there often. She had been raised with all that is unlikely, unconventional, and supernatural (perhaps even magical). When she was a child, her world was that of fairies, ghosts, wishes, and the power of crystals and planets. She was taught that answers were to be found in round circles called astrology charts and that there were many people in the world who were psychic and could foretell the future. Although that world was an appealing world, it was inevitable that Maggie, as so many teenagers do, would rebel against the beliefs she was raised with and seek other philosophies.
She experimented with various traditional religions and belief systems that existed to fill in the voids felt by those lacking any sort of faith. She found that although she liked many traditional religions and appreciated what they stood for, it was indeed Buddhism that made her feel the most complete. Maggie was for all intents and purposes an illogical, whimsical, adventuresome, and happy young woman. She slept soundly and lived a very complete life.
The philosophies of acceptance by which she lived her life made her compatible with most people. She had a nice relationship with her mother, a Danish astrologer, and her father, a successful English businessman who was happy to receive a little guidance from the planets. (If anyone objected to this, he happily pointed out that it had worked for Ronald Reagan.) Maggie often read the books her mother spoke about, and every once in a while, she even joined her mother in some new age ritual or other.
It was the excuse of searching for the perfect birthday gift for her mother that placed her at the same book section and store. From the moment she saw the tall, slender man walking down the street, she felt that she needed to follow him. This is not something she remembered ever having done before. She was pretty, and more often than not, men approached her. Experience had taught her that many men worth talking to could be shy and sometimes needed to be approached. With the confidence that is often exhibited by very pretty women, she was not deterred in the least by his surprised reaction to her smile, and so she spoke.
“So, which of the women in your life recommended that book to you? Was it your mum or your girlfriend?”
She was indeed pretty, and inasmuch as he was instantly attracted to her, it was not in a purely physical way. Someday, as their love story flourished, she would explain to him that when two souls from the past meet, they recognize each other. This happens in love stories, to parents when they first encounter the eyes of their newborn, and to friends as well as enemies.
As so many lovers do, when they first met, neither one of them spoke the absolute truth. Like so many lovers starting out a new love story, if they had known where this would lead, both of them might have run out of the bookstore. But they both chose to stay, and so on a cold winter day in January of 2010, when the world was mourning the passing of so many souls in Haiti, their love story began. He smiled back and answered her question.
“Why would it have to be a woman? Why couldn’t a man recommend it?”
“Oh I see. You are an American.”
“No, Canadian actually.”
“Same difference. Perhaps in America or Canada, a man other than the author would recommend Many Lives, Many Masters. But here in England, well, it would have to be a girlfriend probably on her grand quest as to how you are soul mates eternally destined to be together, or maybe it would be a middle-aged mum who just discovered Brian Weiss, the author. So, it is that, or you have some sort of existential crisis that led you to find the book on your own. So, mum or girlfriend?”
“Hmmm, let me see. My mother prefers to pray and attend church. I don’t have a girlfriend, and it was the medical background of the guy who wrote the book, Dr. Weiss, that impressed me. So, maybe I do fall into the existential crisis category”
Her beautiful eyes widened.
“Existential crisis it is then, but if you seek impressive credentials in past-life therapy, you might want to read this book, Other Lives, Other Selves. Tell me, what triggered your belief in past lives?”
“Belief! I would not call it belief … possibility. I’ve come to realize that strange things happen.”
“You know, once you read that book, you will believe. In life there are certain doorways that once you cross them, they will forever change you. And you might also resolve your existential crisis. What you will definitely find is that women love to sleep with men who search for depth through such beliefs.”
So in that cold European winter when some in the world denied global warming, he lay in bed, holding her. He could not imagine a less likely place to have encountered the perfect girl, the self-help section at a bookstore. She was, by all accounts, very beautiful. Her laughter and smiley eyes were completely contagious. He was ready to settle down, and she might be the one, even if that involved accepting some very unlikely ideas that she held. There was the most extraordinary feeling of comfort in simply being with her.
Maggie had to laugh; she thought he’d be a quick and fun adventure, one that she would soon get out of her system. But this yuppie geek, as it turned out, was surprisingly special from the very first moment. This could be far more than a casual adventure.
Bill had not spoken to anyone about his problems. Not anyone other than doctors or therapists. Maggie worked counseling young kids. She was trained to ask just the right questions to make people talk. Bill was used to carefully giving only the information he wanted to give in business and in his private life. He sometimes caught himself telling Maggie much more than what he expected was safe. She thought that she knew just how to pry and could tell he was holding back; this, of course, made him all the more interesting.
Their love story grew and developed as some do. Maggie usually led and Bill followed. They enjoyed the typical things new couples enjoy, such as going to restaurants, the cinema, shops, and museums. Sometimes, if the winter weather allowed, they went for nice long walks. Before Bill met Maggie, he had spent all his time in London buried in his work, with his colleagues at the gym, or finding ways to run away from the dreams and thoughts that haunted him. He did this by playing any distracting “brain game” that helped him to forget the letters, the same five letters, on the wings and on the side of the aircraft in his nightmares.
He liked to remember how it had been the day they met there in the bookstore by the self-help and philosophy section while he had been holding the book Many Lives, Many Masters, a book that seemed sensible enough to explain past lives. (He had also noticed one discussing future lives. That seemed ridiculous, and he was wondering if in spite of Dr. Weiss’s credentials, this was the right way to learn more about past-life regression therapy.) It was right at that moment that she had smiled and spoken. He liked the thought of how later that day, before they left the bookstore together, they each had purchased a book; he bought Many Lives, Many Masters, and Maggie chose the one about future lives, Same Soul, Many Bodies, the ridiculous one. They often visited Foyles on rainy days.
Maggie loved that bookstore, so it could not exactly be said that she had followed him inside. That would have been completely out of character for her. She had not only felt attracted to his physique, but also the way he moved as he walked seemed so familiar; there was a very strong force there, and there had been something she recognized.
Then he absolutely surprised her; he went to the section she had least expected “his type”—the cute, yuppie geek type—to choose: he went to her mother’s favorite section, the self-help and new age philosophies section, and in his hand was one of the new age beliefs’ basic books, Many Lives, Many Masters.
This was good; it could only mean that he was new to such ideas. That was an old book. It was from the 1980s. Maybe even older. It had to be that old; she remembered a copy or two in her parents’ house for as long as she could remember. This guy, this conquest—Maggie, as many pretty young women do, conquered the hearts of men for sport—this conquest would be a breeze. It was then that he felt different, when he spoke and she heard his accent, an accent so familiar to her from the cinema and the telly, the accent of all the handsome men of her fantasies, an accent that made him even more appealing. Unlike the man she had just met, Maggie was very aware that she was a hopeless romantic.

Experience this incredible quest, through the eyes of the author, and also the fictional characters of Maggie and Bill, who discover their connection to this event through a series of past life regressions. Mystery, love, reincarnation, discovery, and life abound. ~ 5 star review by RE
This has elements for the romantic, the mystery buff, and the history buff that will keep you reading until the end. ~ 5 star review by Teresa Watson
M C V Egan catches you in the first chapter and doesn’t let you go. You are sucked into both the historical story as well as the personal and paranormal stories that are intertwined through the book. You are wrapped up in the three main characters in both this life and their immediately previous life and enthralled in the winding trail of research that they follow together and separately to join the two together. Recommended. ~ 5 star review by FBTR
This is an EXCELLENT book! If you have been passing up Bridge of Deaths by Mcv Egan, well, cut it out! This book is VERY well researched. Excellent story with a blend of romance and mystery. I almost passed it by because I'm not a big history buff, BUT I started going thru the reviews and decided I had to go for it! This is one of the most interesting books I've read in awhile. From the first few chapters, I was invested in seeing where the story would take me. I was interested in the characters and completely captivated by the plot. ~ 5 star VERIFIED PURCHASE review by Tina "UF and PNR Romance fan"
The story is simple. Reincarnation and real research works in tandem to bring two lovers destined and the past together. The real story is that this book is not close to fiction. Little of this novel is fiction and that adds some wonderful spice to the story. ~ 5 star VERIFIED PURCHASE review by Wanda "Wandah Panda"
M.C.V. Egan is the pen name chosen by Maria Catalina Vergara Egan. Catalina was born in Mexico City, Mexico in 1959, the sixth of eight children, in a traditional Catholic family. From a very young age, she became obsessed with the story of her maternal grandfather, Cesar Agustin Castillo--mostly the story of how he died.
She spent her childhood in Mexico. When her father became an employee of The World Bank in Washington D.C. in the early 1970s, she moved with her entire family to the United States. Catalina was already fluent in English, as she had spent one school year in the town of Pineville, Louisiana with her grandparents. There she won the English award, despite being the only one who had English as a second language in her class. In the D.C. suburbs she attended various private Catholic schools and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland in 1977.
She attended Montgomery Community College, where she changed majors every semester. She also studied in Lyons, France, at the Catholic University for two years. In 1981, due to an impulsive young marriage to a Viking (the Swedish kind, not the football player kind), Catalina moved to Sweden where she resided for five years and taught at a language school for Swedish, Danish, and Finnish businesspeople. She then returned to the USA, where she has lived ever since. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Swedish.
Maria Catalina Vergara Egan is married and has one son who, together with their five-pound Chihuahua, makes her feel like a full-time mother. Although she would not call herself an astrologer she has taken many classes and taught a few beginner classes in the subject M.C.V. Giveaway for New Release by Ju Ephraime, erotic romance Golden Heat

Ju Ephraime's new book...
Golden Heat
Contemporary Steamy/Erotic RomancePublication Date: July 11, 2015
Set in the beautiful state of New Mexico two very strong minded individuals found themselves thrown together while working on a project. And, as it inevitably happens, Andy and Bernie were not able to be in each other’s company for more than five minutes before the heated sparks begin to fly. Not wanted to mix business with pleasure, Bernie fought it with everything she got. While Andy tries to be the stronger one, but there was no fighting the golden heat that came alive whenever she and Andy were in the same room. It was so bad, on more than one occasion Bernie contemplates severing the professional relationship and going hog-wild on Andy, but she persevered, that was, until the final day of the project, then all hell break loose. Andy rushes into the lounge area of the Crown & Bull where he’s meeting Bernie. Taking a seat where he can observe the entrance, he orders a Scotch on the rocks and sits back to wait a bit. Just then, a strikingly gorgeous woman walks through the revolving doors. This is the kind of woman who drives a man to drink, he thinks sardonically.
It takes him a moment to realize she’s coming toward him. Man, she’s gorgeous; beautiful is too mediocre a word to describe her. She has a body that makes a man twitch just watching her, and he has the itch. He’s so busy trying to conceal the evidence of her effect on his body that he is taken by surprised when she addresses him.
“Mr. Redfield? I’m Bernie Harp.”
The voice is a husky contralto that makes the blood vacate Andy’s brain and rush to his masculine parts. He has to take a deep breath to slow down his heart rate. His powerful physical response to the woman irritates him. God damn it, he was expecting a man. Jonas never told him the investigator was a woman. He’d foolishly assumed, with a name like Bernie, it had to be a man. -----, he needs a moment to get himself together. So, instead of responding immediately, he sips his drink that the waiter had put in front of him a few moments earlier. Without saying a word, he lets the mellow taste of the liquor course its way through him like a kiss from the lips of a sensuous woman—like the one standing in front of him now, with her hand extended. Only after the taste on his tongue has dissipated to a shimmering echo of heat does he look up. Why, he asks himself, would a woman who looks like this, be named Bernie?

...Ju Ephraime has re-released her book...
Loving Therèse
Contemporary Steamy/Erotic Romance
Original Publication Date: June 21, 2012

Foxx LaCasse is a player, on and off the field, until he met Therèse. He’s athletic, handsome and hot-blooded, with vengeance on his mind.
Therèse is an intensely passionate English woman, who refuses to follow convention and chose instead to select her man from the natives of the French Caribbean island of Martinique, Foxx LaCasse. When she began to receive threatening notes, asking her to stay away from Foxx, she fled back to her home in England, without giving Foxx any explanation. Now two years later, she is back on the island, trying to pick up from where they’d left off, but Foxx was having none of it. He had one goal in mind; to have his way with her, and discard her, as she had him, two years ago. But when he finally reunites with his beautiful, passionate, elusive target, he finds himself offering his protection and his heart.
Filled with Ju Ephraime’s trademark sensuality, characters you love to hate and men you wish to love, Loving Therèse will have you enthralled with its unexpected plots and refreshing style, as these two destined lovers, recaptured and embraced their love. With a barely suppressed growl, Foxx brought her head around to his as he lowered his mouth to hers. He ran his tongue over her lips before moving to the corner of her mouth. He was reacquainting himself with familiar terrain, his touch almost reverent in its gentle intimacy.
Then he moved to the soft lobe of her ear without fully taking possession of her mouth. Having him so close, yet denied the full taste of his mouth, had her blindly seeking it, wanting the full pleasure of his kiss.
Moving with a sudden urgency, he caught her in a deep, soul-searching kiss that had her whimpering and straining to get more of him. He gave it to her slowly, as if releasing and revealing himself a little piece at a time.
Each kiss from him was followed by a slight nip at the corner of her mouth, only to have his mouth returning to hers in sweet abandonment, as if to take away the sting. She was so enthralled that the stings hardly registered. His ravishing mouth became the only reality and sweet reward to her sex-crazed mind.
Again and again, he went back and forth between her ear and her mouth before dipping down to the pulse beating wildly in her neck. Her nipples were stiff from the friction of rubbing against his chest, and her panties were damp with her juices. She wanted him so much that her body temperature rose and she broke out in sweat, causing a rivulet to run down between her breasts. This was too much for Therèse. The rhythm of her breathing became frantic as she felt herself almost on the verge of an orgasm.
She wanted to wrap herself around him, to feel him deep inside her as he took her again and again, as only he could. Desperate to reach fulfillment, she tried pressing down on his rigid cock, but this proved too much for him, as, with a harsh curse, he suddenly broke the kiss and lifted her back to her seat.
Therèse felt so bereft she wrapped her arms across her breasts where her nipples were still tightened into hard, painful knots. She rocked back and forth, making a keening sound, which had Foxx looking at her strangely. She didn’t know what to make of that look, but she could tell both of them were equally shaken by this interlude.
“I can take only so much,” he muttered, as he lowered the window of the vehicle to give them some much-needed cool air, lessening the sexual haze fogging up the vehicle.
The knowledge that he was not in full control and was willing to reveal this to her filled Therèse with a mindless excitement that remained with her as he eased the vehicle back into traffic.
It took a while for the sexual tension in the vehicle to simmer down. Then, with one smoldering look from Foxx, she was back to burning up. His heavy-lidded eyes were a deep green, the brown all but gone. That look had her squirming in her seat in anticipation of their next encounter.
In less than twenty minutes, they were pulling into the first stop on Foxx’s trip, a local farm he was visiting. He got out of the vehicle and came over to her side, holding out his hand to her. She placed her hand in his and immediately felt the heat of his firm grasp as he helped her from the car.
Lowering his head, he made as if to reach down to her lips, but with a muttered curse, he swung around and went striding toward the farm. The owner came out to greet him, and began speaking in French.
“Bonjour, Foxx, que vous a amené ici aujourd’hui?”
Foxx answered him in English. The other man responded in English, and they continued the conversation in that language.
Therèse was grateful for Foxx's consideration. Although she could follow the conversation in French with no problem, she felt better when she did not have to translate everything in her head. What she did get immediately was that Foxx asked for cognac. She wasn't surprised; cognac was the drink of choice on the island and most homes had it in stock.
“Do you want something to drink, Therèse?” he asked after he’d introduced her to the owner.
“If I may, a long, cool drink with lots of ice will do me good,” she replied as she watched Foxx down the drink he was handed and hold out his glass for a second serving. This one he sipped slowly.
In no time, Foxx had concluded his business, and they were on their way to his next stop. They visited two other farms, but Foxx didn’t spend any time there, he was in and out. He appeared to be in a rush, and she sat back and watched as he pushed the vehicle to its limit.

An avid football fan, she spends her fall months rooting on her favorite teams.

Jill Cox Vogt - Originally from the mountains of Tennessee, Jill Cox Vogt has published poetry in literary journals, including Appalachian Heritage, and won top honors in national poetry and short story competitions. Her adventures were worth it, but she landed in Louisiana with her husband and dog where she enjoys swimming, chocolate, and books.

Rebecca Warner - Upon moving to Miami after college, ‪Rebecca Warner found herself competing for equal position and pay in the male-dominated banking world. She chose to project femininity and confidence, and to "hit 'em with her smarts," which proved to be a successful strategy. Consequently, her stories are built on the tenets of sexy, feminine and smart women who pursue what they want in love and life, without fear or apology. She and her wonderful husband of 27 years now live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with their two rescue dogs.

Will she return to the life she knew? Or will the past become her future?

Where the hell am I?

Maggie dug deep in her memory. She could only remember her search for Emma. She gasped. She remembered Emma’s disappearance. Maggie closed her eyes and attempted to force her memory for the lapse between then and now.

“My fair lady is awake?”

Maggie heard his voice. The same one she’d heard earlier.

Did he just call me a fair lady?

She dared to open her eyes, part of her felt like a lost child; scared and alone. She felt a presence close to her. She could smell his scent. It teased her senses. She could no longer resist. She had to look. She opened her eyes slowly. His scent wasn’t the only pleasure she experienced. The ultimate of tall, dark and handsome stood before her. It wasn’t his greener-than-green eyes or long-dark lashes that caught her attention, but the way she felt he delved into her soul with his eyes. She felt a quick pierce to her heart. Never before had a man looked at her that way. His strong jawline curved a clean-shaven face. Her eyes focused on his lips as they parted. A sudden urge to kiss him overcame her sensible way of thinking. But the sudden thought to move only made her head hurt. She flinched and swallowed hard. No man had ever had such an impact on her.

If this is love at first sight, then I’ve been wrong—so wrong.

Distorted Loyalty

Romantic Suspense

PUBLISHED: June 4, 2014

A deep masculine voice reached my ear over my right shoulder and caused a shiver to go down my spine. “I’m not sure I like the idea of your son buying my daughter a present.”
I spun around to view the man who had just spoken so intimately in my ear and had to look up. Holy cow! This guy could be the twin to the actor who played the leader of the wolf pack on that hot vampire cable series; only this guy had short hair.
For a moment, I wasn’t sure if he was being serious or joking with me, but a sexy smile slid over his lusciously-full mouth, and I realized he was very much not upset.
I cocked my head to the side, “And what makes you think it is for your daughter?”
He grinned, “Because I can see the teenaged lust in his eyes.” I laughed at his comment and glanced at Josh and Jazzy. They were standing close, and she was holding bottles up for him to smell. The pure look of pleasure he wore on his features had nothing to do with what he smelled.
“I’m Grant.” He held his hand out for me to shake and I placed my palm into his. His hands were huge and swallowed up my petite mitts.
“I’m Rachel.” His hand spread warmth all the way up my arm.

“This book shows that not every romance book has to have sex and flowers, but that a love based on emotional strength is more likely to last and be satisfying for a lifetime.”  5 Star Amazon Review by Clare
“Wow! This book is awesome, a real page turner! I was hooked from the first page and just hated to see it end. Some harmless flirting between Grant and Rachel is the catalyst for one shocking surprise after another!” 5 Star Amazon Review by whitfield25
“Stacy Eaton definitely has a way with words. She is truly a master at story telling. Her novels are rich, engaging, powerful, and all truly one of a kind. That is definitely the case with Distorted Loyalty. The characters she writes about are so realistic and written with such depth, one feels that you have known them forever. Such clarity in her character development is a common trait in the author's writing, and is no different in this novel. The reader will fall in love with Rachel, Josh, Grant, and Jazlyn. They will have mixed feelings in regard to Mark and Iliana. The supporting characters are just as well developed and enhance the story line and the main characters. This only enhances the novel and makes it more realistic.” 5 Star Amazon Review by Avid Reader
“This novel makes you ask yourself intriguing questions, is there life after death, Heaven or Hell, can you meet people who have passed before you when you die? There are twists and turns, sometimes shocking events and you can't imagine how this could possibly turn out! Ms. Eaton never lets us down.” 4 Star Amazon Review by Pat F
“An intriguing read that is hard to put down. Alternating viewpoints allow a 360 view of the plot. Engaging from page one with realistic treatment of some difficult subject matter.” 5 Star Amazon Review by Kgoldenh

New Dystopian Erotic Romance, The Amber Voyeur by Ravyn Rayne

THE AMBER VOYEUR
Blushing Books PublishingErotic Romance, DystopiaCONTENT WARNING: Spanking and Erotica

No longer safe in Brayleigh, Aria and James travel by ship to find refuge and discover what’s left of the world.
Dangerous seas and pirates lurking are only the start of their troubles. Forced off the boat with nothing but the clothes on their back, the crew and passengers make it to a nearby island, only to be abducted by the Knight Tribe, a clan of romantic warriors with a voyeuristic culture and a taste for nightly entertainment.
Get swept away in this dystopian erotic adventure, brimming with romance, spankings, and betrayal. “Hey!” Aria shouted, not that it did anything to stop their fighting.
“Enough!” James’s voice echoed in the confined space.
The men let go of one another and stood, dusting off the dirt caked to their skin.
A gentleman with red hair and blue eyes stepped toward Aria. He’d been one of the three fighting, a crewmember on the ship. “Do you know what they’re having us do?” he asked.
“No,” Aria said, glancing back at the die lying on the floor. Aria rolled the large die slightly with her hand. It stood up to her waist in height, though it felt lighter than it looked. She’d never seen a die quite so large. Who made it?
“The festival tonight is entertainment for the commander and the tribe. She’s choosing two from the pit and they’ll have to do whatever the die says.”
Aria swallowed nervously as she further examined the giant die. One side showed two people battling with swords. Aria frowned, turning the die onto another side, it revealed a pictograph of two men with guns in a shoot-out. That wouldn’t end well for someone. Her heart skipped a beat, and she rolled the die onto another side, covering her lips in surprise. Was that a paddle? Her cheeks burned and she took a step back from the die.
James didn’t appear nearly as affected as Aria from the news. He stepped forward, resting his hand on her lower back. “Do we know who has been elected for the festival?”
Kali shook her head. “The commander chooses two worthy opponents from the pit of invaders and mainlanders. Seeing as how the mainlanders have assimilated or died,” Kali said, clearing her throat, “it’s safe to say that one of you that has not been chosen by a tribe member, will be selected.”

Top Ten Reasons to Read this Genre (Dystopian Erotica) by  My Book Addiction and More
1. Romance and heart-pumping action. What's not to love?2. Book boyfriends. Everyone wants one. Now you can have one (or a second one).3. Unlike The Hunger Games and Divergent which are Dystopian, this series and genre is exclusively for adults. Suddenly being old pays off.4. It makes you appreciate the world you're living in.5. You can fantasize without the sting of a real spanking.6. Learn something about sex!7. The fear may be real, but at least the bad $h!t isn't happening to you.8. Get your kink on.9. Adventure on every page.10. Twists and turns that will keep you guessing.
Author Interview by The Dark Realm
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?Just finding the time to write without distractions. That's the most challenging aspect for me right now.
What inspired you to write your first book?My first book I wrote in 2004 (I think). I self-published it before Amazon even offered self-publishing. I wrote it while I was in college. I'd been writing fan fiction for years and wanted to write my own novel. I made no attempt to get it published professionally through an agent or publisher. There's a few copies floating around, but you can't easily purchase one anymore. My inspiration? I loved writing and wanted to write something my grandparents could proudly read. At 31, my concerns have shifted and my 90 year old grandmother, if she wants to read my erotica, then go for it.
What are your current projects?I'm currently working on the fourth book in the Federal Agent Chronicles. It's currently untitled but should be available early November 2015.
What do you think is the future of reading/writing?I believe more authors are going to enter the market with the craze of self-publishing. It's already happening and I don't think it's going to slow down anytime soon. There will also be an influx of small publishers. Some will be great, others a nightmare. Be careful if you're an author!
What is the biggest thing that people THINK they know about your subject/genre, that isn't so?People think they've read every dystopian out there. Dystopian Erotica opens up a new world of fiction with spicier stories. MoB Promos magicofbookspromo@gmail.com

Michele Shriver writes women’s fiction and contemporary romance. Her books feature flawed-but-likeable characters in real-life settings. She’s not afraid to break the rules, but never stops believing in happily ever after. Michele counts among her favorite things a good glass of wine, a hockey game, and a sweet and sexy book boyfriend, not necessarily in that order.
Marcia James writes hot, humorous romances and finaled in eleven Romance Writers of America contests before selling her first comic romantic suspense, At Her Command. Her latest releases are Sex & the Single Therapist (a comic romantic mystery), Heating Up the Holidays (a romantic Christmas novella), and Love Unleashed (a super sexy reunion romance). In her eclectic career, she has shot submarine training videos, organized celebrity-filled nonprofit events and had her wedding covered by People Magazine. After years of dealing with such sexy topics as how to safely install traffic lights, she is enjoying "researching" and plotting her novels' steamy love scenes with her husband and hero of many years.
Lyssa Layne is first, and foremost, the proud momma to her precious daughter, AR. In addition to working full-time and being a mommy to AR, she is also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, a runner, blogger, and an infertility survivor.Having watched one too many medical dramas and being inspired by author Rachelle Ayala, who introduced her to the world of indie writing, Lyssa decided to try her hand at writing a romance story. Her attempt turned into the Burning Lovesick series. You can find Lyssa's own interests throughout her stories although all stories are fictional.
Stacy Eaton began her writing career in October of 2010 and as each goes by, she releases more and more novels. She is a police officer by profession and has been since 2000. Currently, she is assigned as the department detective and enjoys digging into cases and putting the pieces of the puzzles together; not only with interview and interrogation, but by utilizing her certified CSI training.Stacy resides in southeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, who is also in law enforcement, and her tween daughter who is working toward her second degree black belt and on the choral and cheerleading squads at school. She also has a son who is currently serving in the United States Navy.Stacy is very involved in Domestic Violence Awareness and currently servers on the Board of Directors for her local Domestic Violence Center. When Stacy is not working her demanding job, or spending time with her family, she works on her business and volunteers with the World Literary Café.In between all she does, she spends her spare moments plotting and every other moment writing.
P.C. Zick describes herself as "a storyteller no matter what I write." And she writes in a variety of genres, including romance, contemporary fiction, and nonfiction. She's won various awards for her essays, columns, editorials, articles, and fiction.
Many of her novels contain stories of Florida and its people and environment, which she credits as giving her a rich base for her storytelling. "Florida's quirky and abundant wildlife - both human and animal - supply my fiction with tales almost too weird to be believable."
Her fiction contains the elements most dear to her heart, ranging from love to the environment. All of her novels contain elements of romance with strong female characters and descriptive settings. She believes in living lightly upon this earth with love, laughter, and passion, and through her fiction she imparts this philosophy in an entertaining manner with an obvious love for her characters, plot, and themes.

Jade Kerrion is the author of the Double Helix series, which has won a total of eight science fiction awards, including the Gold Medal in Readers Favorites 2013. Her Guild Wars fan fiction was accused of keeping her readers up at night, distracting them from work, housework, homework, and (far worse), from actually playing Guild Wars. And then she wondered why just screw up the time management skills of gamers? Why not aspire to screw everyone else up too? So here she is, writing science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance novels that aspire to keep you from doing anything else useful with your time.
Abbie St Claire I've spent many years crafting stories in my brain. Finally, after the encouragement from those that love and support me the most, I put my first story out by self-publishing in 2013.That first milestone created a writing monster in me that couldn't be stopped and filled a void I cannot explain. Each story is a true gift from my heart and a sacrifice from my soul, since I find it difficult to let the characters go.At home in Texas, my husband and I share our life with children that mean the world to us and include a couple of fur babies. When we aren't busy watching sports and betting on the game, we are entertaining with friends.I do have a writing cave, but honestly, most of my work comes from the kitchen, the heartbeat of any home. Since noise doesn't disturb me too much when writing, I can write and keep the pulse on the family at the same time. And... Possibly enjoy my favorite, sinful treat... Cookie dough! The writer-reader world is my lifeline. I'm addicted and each time I get a message from a reader, I'm thrilled. There's quite a few stories planned for the next several months. I'm hoping the readers fall in love with my next series, The Creek Series. A story that is guaranteed to bring out all the emotions.
Kimmie Easley is an author who grew up traveling the country, rarely settling in one place for much longer than a minute. Being no stranger to heartache, she allows her unconventional childhood to fuel her writing. Kimmie is addicted to all things books, wine, cupcakes, and flip flops. She is a homeschool momma, southern wife, and pug wrangler. Kimmie can be found somewhere in the south writing wine worthy stories.Gutter Princess coming in 2015 from Swoon Romance.
Chantel Rhondeau once thought a great mystery or fantasy book with strong romantic themes was the highest level of reading bliss. After reading her first romantic suspense novel, she never looked back. Before long, the need to create her own stories took over. She spends her daytime in the clinical profession of medical transcriptionist, but her passion is in the wonderful hours she spends with her characters in the evenings.Chantel lives in the western United States, and when she isn't writing she loves playing cards with her family, bowling, and snuggling with her lazy kitties.
Rachelle Ayala is a bestselling author of dramatic romantic suspense and humorous, sexy contemporary romances. Her heroines are feisty and her heroes hot. She writes emotionally challenging stories but believes in the power of love and hope.Rachelle is an active member of the California Writer's Club, Fremont Chapter, and a volunteer for the World Literary Cafe. She is a very happy woman and lives in California with her husband. She has three children and has taught violin and made mountain dulcimers.

Giveaway & Release Tour for the Finding Nolan Series by KS Thomas

Book One ~ Lost Avalon
Cover by SoLoud!MediaWord Count ~ 60,000Contemporary RomanceContent Warning - Adult Language and Situations

Fame, fortune and a future paved with rock 'n roll gold - Blaise Nolan has it all. With his brooding good looks, haunting voice and troubled lyrics of a soul gone lost, it's no wonder his band Finding Nolan has been climbing the music charts with back to back hits. Only Blaise didn't wind up brooding, haunted and lost by accident...
Avalon Jennison has been the girl next door since she was five. The best friend since she was eight. The band manager since she was sixteen, and the keeper of his secrets always. Ava's been there every step of the way, helping Blaise live his dreams while keeping his nightmares at bay. But the years of putting Blaise's needs above her own are about to be over.
Except, Blaise has one secret even Ava doesn't know...and it could be the thing that breaks her heart completely, or finally puts it back together.
*All Finding Nolan Novels are stand alone stories. However, due to recurring characters and the way each story builds on the one before it, they are best read in order.*  Royce and I just stood there staring at the closed door. Then we heard the water go on in the shower and realized she wasn’t coming back out anytime soon.
“What are you going to do when you’re sober?” Royce was looking way too satisfied with himself.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, what are you going to do when there’s no more reason to play pretend? Are you hoping she just gets so used to acting like your girlfriend that she’ll forget that she’s not?”
He wasn’t blocking the fucking door anymore, so I was free to make my exit. Which I did.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t.” Royce was following me out of the room and back into the kitchen.
“Look. I don’t expect you to understand my relationship with Ava.”
Royce shrugged. “What’s to understand? You’re in love with her.”
“This is what I’m talking about. Why do people always assume that when a guy and a girl are close friends, it means that one of them has to be in love with the other?”
Royce went to get the cup of coffee he had abandoned before shit got heated. “I don’t assume that.” He took a sip, made a face and stuck the coffee in the microwave. “I would have no problem believing that the two of you were best friends who had a completely platonic relationship…if I didn’t know for a fact that it was complete and utter bullshit.” His coffee was done and he took another drink, this time with better results. “If it makes you feel any better, she’s clearly in love with you, too. Although, unlike you, I don’t think she’s aware of it.” Then he took his cup and left to go out onto the terrace.
Unlike me? Where was he coming up with this…this ridiculous…truth. It was true. I was in love with Ava. And she felt the same way about me. Thing Royce in all his smugness had failed to see was that I’d made damn sure she stayed unaware of it.

Book Two ~ Secret Hudson
Cover by SoLoud!Media
Word Count ~ 52,000
Contemporary Romance / LGBT Romance
Content Warning - Adult Language and Situations

Royce Lemmi went from being the bullied little freak in high school to rock and roll demigod in the blink of an eye. While playing to packed stadiums filled with screaming fans night after night is a daily reminder of how far he’s come, most days Royce can’t help but see that tortured soul from before, anytime he looks in the mirror.
Kieran Hudson has never spent a day of his life questioning who he was or what he wanted. He spends his days tending to his mother’s store, but his nights are dedicated to exploring the world through the lens of his camera and exposing beauty in the most unexpected places.
When Royce and Kieran’s paths cross in a twist of paparazzi fate, they both react true to form. Royce runs to hide the weakness he fears, behind the success he now depends on, while Kieran never wavers on what he wants or who he wants to be with. And he’s going to do what he does best to convince Royce he’s right.
All Kieran has to do…is expose the beauty in the place Royce least expects to find it. Himself. There was a knock on the door almost simultaneously to it opening.
“Royce?” It was Ava.
“What’s up, buttercup?”
“The coffee here blows. I’m going to make a store run. Need anything?”
I stared down at my legs, fully dressed in jeans, socks and shoes, then back over at the TV screen. I’d been awake, showered, clothed, and watching a Gilligan’s Island marathon since five a.m. What I needed, was to get out of this fucking hotel room.
“I’m sure I’ll think of something once we’re there.” I pointed the remote straight at the captain’s head and pulled the trigger. Thank God that was finally over.
She made a face at me. “You’re going to come?”
“I’m sorry. Is that a problem?” Not twelve hours ago she’d asked me to follow her into the bathroom to keep her company while she showered. Now seemed like an odd time to suddenly require some privacy.
Ava reached for the baseball cap hanging on the doorknob and strapped it over my head. “Not any more.” She pointed at the nightstand behind me. “Hey, grab those shades too, would ya? I really don’t feel like getting attacked by the paparazzi pre-shower and wearing my sweats.”
“You showered. I know. I was there, remember?” I slid on the shades anyway. I wasn’t in the mood for a morning mob either. I was no Blaise Nolan, but in lieu of Finding Nolan’s front man, people seemed to be happy to settle for the lowly bass player in a heartbeat.
“Um, that shower was ages ago. Do you know how much I’ve sweat in the meantime?” She led the way out the door, in spite of her apparent nastiness.
“Gross. I know we’re close Ava, but I do not need to hear about your sweaty sex with Blaise.” I reached for my wallet and room key on the way out.
“Ew! I went for a run this morning, you jackass! For the record, I don’t have unattractive, sweaty sex. I do it all nice and pretty like…you know, the way they do it in the movies. All sensual and magical.”
I nodded, even though she had her back to me. “Yeah, I hear that all the time about hetero sex. How magical it is.” Ava turned her head briefly and acknowledged the sarcasm with a dramatic eye roll and her standard half-smirk, but didn’t bother to respond. We’d had the hetero sex talk plenty of times before in the past. She knew where I stood with it. Preferably at a safe distance where I could pretend it didn’t exist.
Vaginas didn’t scare me exactly. I mean, they seemed innocent enough, and I could see the convenience of it all, one piece fitting into the other. But I’d taken sex ed. I’d seen that sweet little flower chicks claimed they were sitting on morph into monsters big enough to spit out a watermelon on a moment’s notice. Don’t tell me there isn’t something shady about that.
If straight dudes want to stick their dicks in there, I say do so at your own risk. Someday that beast may decide to swallow instead of spit, and then what the fuck are you going to do? Be fucking dickless, that’s what.
We were in the elevator going down to the lobby when I noticed Ava was still grinning.
“What?”
She chuckled before she answered, “You look nervous. Thinking about penis-eating vaginas again?”
“The thing drools blood, Ava! It’s clearly carnivorous.”
The mocking grin fell from her face. “Okay, now you’re just being disgusting. And you know I can’t keep up in below the belt verbal combat before I’ve had my coffee, so that was an entirely unfair attack.”
I jerked my brow in feigned shock. “What attack? It was merely an act of self-defense. You started it. And it will count. And we’re calling it a truce.”
“Fine.”
“Fine.”

Book Three ~ Fallen Angel
Cover by SoLoud!MediaWord Count ~ 56,000Contemporary RomanceContent Warning - Adult Language (I think we can pretty much count on this with everything I write, lol)
Angel Hollis has mastered two things in his life. Music and Women. And with the other men of Finding Nolan moving on to more long-term relationships, Angel's not complaining about picking up the slack and keeping the groupies happy and satisfied.
Addison Jennison has been in love with Angel since she was eleven. Long before the fans were screaming his name and lining up to sleep with him, she was there. Only he never noticed. And why would he? She was just a kid.
Then.
Now, at twenty-one, she's finally old enough to catch his eye...provided he allows himself to look. Addison isn't just anyone. She's Ava's little sister. And Ava's family. There are rules. Lines that can't be crossed. Hearts not to be tampered with.
Angel's determined not to screw up and hurt the people he loves most, but no one is prepared when he comes face to face with his undoing and...he falls. “So, when will this inappropriate touching take place?” She looks up and catches my gaze again. “I’m assuming I’m the one you’ll be touching inappropriately, right?”
Well, she’s definitely not sweet and innocent anymore. “Uh,” I clear my throat repeatedly. What is happening to me? How in the hell is she doing this? She’s Bam Bam, for fuck’s sake. Ava’s goofy little sister with the sweet smile and sad eyes. Only that’s not who I see when I look at her now. “Did you want to be touched inappropriately?”
She shrugs. “Do you?”
I cough. I feel like a jackass. It’s not cool. I’m supposed to be calm about this shit. Not act like a fucking pansy ass who can barely put together a sentence just because she smiles at me. I’m not fucking Royce.
“Shit.” I drop my fork in my empty box.
“What?” She’s frowning, no sign of that sexy as hell smirk left to be found. Which should make this easier. But it doesn’t. Because I remember. I remember the last time I saw a person acting the way I’m acting right now. And if what happened to him, is happening to me…shit just got real.
“Um, I just remembered. The band. The one I wanted to take you to go see. They start playing in less than half an hour. This time of day, with traffic, I don’t think we’ll make it in time.” I slide down from the trunk of my car, purposely keeping my face turned away from her. I have an odd sense she could see straight through me right now if our eyes met.
“Huh.” I hear a soft thud behind me as her feet hit the ground as well. Then I feel her arm wrap around my stomach, her body pressing against my back. “I don’t really feel like sitting in traffic right now,” she says quietly, her head resting right below my shoulder.
The sensation of suffocating starts to settle in my chest again. I don’t get why it keeps happening. And I don’t like it. If my body continues to equate her touch with oxygen one of us is bound to get hurt…or worse.
“If we don’t get in the car right now and get back on the road,” I pause, straining to fill my lungs with air, “we’re not going to make the show on time.”
“Angel?” Her body slinks around me until we’re standing face to face. “Are you really thinking about a bunch of British guys and their instruments right now?”
That smirk is back. And I’m completely fucked.
“Hell no.” I take in a ragged breath. “I’m thinking we’ve got a real problem here though.”
“What’s that?”
“I don’t think I can call you Bam Bam anymore,” I mutter, thinking how there’s no chance in hell this smartass, sexy woman will ever again conjure up the same innocent brotherly thoughts that little girl did once upon a time.
Her usual smirk breaks into a smile. “There’s always Addy.”
I shake my head. “No good. Everyone calls you that.”
“What do you want to call me?”
Mine. But I don’t say that out loud. “Something no one else does. Something just for me.”
“Easy. Call me Addison. You can be the first person to ever talk to me like I’m an adult.”
“I like that. Addison.” Then I’m breathing her in. Inhaling her with a kiss so intense I’m losing track of where I end and she begins. Her hands. My hands. Her body. My body. They move together in a way I’ve never felt before with any other woman. It’s like I finally get why people compare themselves to pieces of a puzzle. Because sometimes you find yourself with someone who just…fits.

Dog Lover who likes her pastries full of cream and sugar….oh…and I write some ;-) Aside from being an author, I am also a mom to a beautiful 5 year old little girl. I tell everyone I named her after my great-grandmother (because that’s the mature answer), but really, I named her after my favorite princess – just so happens I got lucky and they had the same name…If I wasn’t a writer, I would work on a horse ranch – I’m an animal lover (in addition to dogs, horses are at the top of my list). I wear flip-flops pretty much everywhere I go. I would rather stay awake until 5 am than get up at 5 am (years of bar tending have left their mark), if I can, I’m going to the beach AND I will always be nice to people who bring me chocolate…or coffee…if you bring me both, I’ll probably love you forever.A gypsy at heart, I write the way I live, following the story wherever it may lead, always ready to start the next one. This is clearly reflected in my body of work which to date includes everything from Children’s Lit to Thrillers.

I happily reside in sunny Florida (for now) and always enjoy hearing from fellow readers!! facebook    Twitter    amazon    pinterest    goodreads    blog
