Read on below for all the details, including a giveaway!

SUMMARY

When Arionna Jacobs fled town in a desperate bid to save Dace Matthews, she never expected the chaos she would leave in her wake. Now her closest friend is dead, and another is missing, forcing Ari to return to face the devastating consequences of her actions and the broken boy she left behind.
Her problems are only just beginning.
Even as her bond with Dace grows stronger, Arionna finds herself weakening when Freki's cage shatters. Fighting the wolf for control is tearing her apart piece by piece. And at every turn, she finds that those she's put her faith in aren't who they seem, bringing her face to face with Sköll and Hati. As the depth of their betrayal is revealed, Freki spirals out of control, and Arionna must face her greatest fear: losing herself to the fierce wolf within.
The world balances on the edge of a blade, and one wrong move will destroy it all.
With few allies she can trust and little choice left, Arionna must decide between the lives of her friends and her own future with the alpha she loves. Will she be able to stand firm for the sake of the world, or will she falter in the face of defeat?

EXCERPT
"Arionna, dammit, wake up."
Unseen hands gripped my upper arms, shaking me. A familiar voice called my name over and over. Furious howls ripped through the air.
None of those sounds made sense to me.
I felt different, like I'd been taken apart and put back together in the wrong order. Everything hurt. My body ached, muscles locked tight in protest. My head throbbed. Each painful pulse rattled against my skull, sending ripples down my neck and into my back.
I groaned and rolled onto my side.
The hands shaking me relaxed.
I fought to open my eyes, then blinked, confused. Worn brown carpet scratched against the side of my face. The bottom edge of a pale blue bed-sham fluttered inches from me. Dust bunnies and small pieces of plastic were strewn beneath the sagging bed. A table and two chairs were grouped on the other side. A crack ran up the leg of one chair, splitting the wood.
None of the room looked familiar.
Where am I?
The voice calling my name stopped mid-shout and sighed.
Oh, thank god, he said.
For what? I wondered, marveling that the words came from inside my mind, but didn't belong to me. How was that possible?
I couldn't place the soft, silky tones either, but they made my stomach flip and my heart flutter. I knew the speaker. At least I thought I did. Before I could ask him who he was or how he spoke in my head, someone blew out a sharp breath. This time, the sound didn't come from inside.
"Finally," that second voice said.
Nope. Definitely not coming from my mind.
I rolled my eyes toward the relieved sound, and then frowned at the guy leaning over me. Long, dark hair hung in his face. His eyes were black, and full of concern. His features were sharp, severe, but handsome.
This time I was certain; I knew this guy.
"Ronan," I said. His name was Ronan LaCrosse, and mine was⦠Arionna. Yes, Arionna Jacobs. Memory began to slowly trickle back in. We were at a motel in Illinois, looking for someone. And the howls were coming from Fuki, the little wolf we'd brought with us, though I couldn't see him.
Where was he?
I tried to figure out why I was on the floor, but came up with a big blank.
"What happened?" I asked, looking up at Ronan.
He held out a hand for me, then pulled me into a sitting position.
The room tilted before straightening again. I clutched my head in my hands, groaning. When the initial wave of nausea passed, I tilted my head up slowly so I could see Ronan. "Did I hit my head?" I asked, trying to blink away the dark spots floating in my peripheral.
"You don't remember?" He narrowed his eyes, tilting his head to the side like a raven assessing me.
I scooted back against the edge of the bed, frowning.
What was I supposed to remember?

Say What?! Son of a Pitch is back!

Yup, we're back for another round of this crazy game!
Follow along with the silliness and discussion under #sonofapitch on Twitter. This time our theme is Star Wars!! Our hosts will be decorating their blogs using the force within them! So join the Rebels or the Republic and join the battle.
It's a month until the first round, so although it's short notice, I hope you jump in. Below are all the details, my little padawans.
This comp is for Young Adult, New Adult, and Adult manuscripts of all genres.
Week 1 starts February 13, 2017: A chance to refine your query and first 250 words. Post this on your blog then leave a direct link in the comments of a post I will put up on my blog the week of Feb 13. Please leave feedback on the author's bog, and for a minimum of three other queries and first 250. All feedback left in the comments of the post for links will be deleted.
***You don't have to participate in Round 1 to join Round 2. It is highly recommended to get that extra polish before the voting round.***
Week 2 starts February 20, 2017:
This week, published authors will give you feedback. This time there are a huge group of authors joining in this round to help you. They write a wide range of genres, so don't miss this opportunity. The Son of a Pitch team, who are all published, will post your emailed in queries and 250 words on their blogs. Please use the formatting below and email to:
sonofapitchcomp@yahoo.com.au
Subject line: Son of a Pitch! (Category and Genre of your manuscript)
Formatting:

Category and Genre: (YA/NA/Adult then Genre)

First 250 Words:
I don't care if this is from a prologue or chapter one. That's up to you.
Incorrectly formatted emails will be returned.
The team will vote for their favorites from the fifty who make it through to go onto the final round. They will cast five votes each, anywhere they want, and the top 20 will go onto the next round. Feel free to coax judges your direction however you want! But please, only you and the judges can comment on your entry, or the comments can get confusing for tallying votes at the end. Votes will close on Thursday 11:59 p.m. MST.
The first fifty entries will go into this round. So get your clickers ready to email at precisely 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Friday February 17th.
But don't be discouraged! You will get good feedback to help you even if you don't make the top twenty. So please go and query elsewhere afterward, and let us know your success story so it can be shared on the blog.
Week 3 starts February 27, 2017: We have a fantastic line up of editors and publishers. They'll swing by the final contestants to try to bribe you into subbing to them. The final Twenty will post right here on this blog, where editors will come and make requests for you. If you make the top twenty, you will be emailed on Friday 24th, and all updated entries sent to the email address by Saturday 25th 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. If you don't make the deadline, the next highest voted entry will be emailed, and will have 24 hrs to get the entry into the inbox.
Feel free to email any requests made whenever you feel like it, but note that the editors are allowed to give feedback on your entry. Also, make sure to include that your query to them is from the comp by putting Son of a Pitch Request in the title.
EXTRA FEEDBACK! This time, one of our round 2 blog hosts will be hosting a twitter pitch critique session to help you prepare for the Twitter Pitch Party. The host will set up a blog post at the same time as round 3, and you leave your twitter pitch in the comments. To critique, just hit reply to the comment in the post! So there you have it! Visit Katie Hampstead's Blog on Monday at: http://kjhstories.blogspot.com to meet the hosts and published authors who will be leaving feedback.

T.M. Franklin's Favorite Things #enchantedpublications #giveaway
When going through the list of my favorite things about the holidays, I thought of the usual suspects: The decorations, the lights, the heart-wrenching holiday movies . . . carols and wassailing (what is wassailing anyway?) and the coming together of friends and family.
*takes a moment to sigh wistfully*
Then I thought, "Who am I kidding?"
My favorite thing about the holidays are these bad boys right here:
Crispy, crunchy, sweet and cinnamony goodness...I mean it's toasted pecans wrapped up in a crunchy sugar shell. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE IT?
You can sprinkle them on a salad (although if you're eating salad for the holidays, you're doing it wrong), crumble them over ice cream (Yes, please!) or just munch on them straight out of the jar. Just beware - once you start, there ain't no stopping... and before long they'll be....
So it's best to make a double batch! Especially if you'd like to give some of them as gifts!
Want to make them yourself? It's super-easy. Here's the recipe I use.
Candied Pecans1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg white
1 Tbsp. water
1 lb. pecan halves
Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and set aside.
Whisk the egg white and water together until frothy. Toss the pecans in the egg white mixture, then dump in the sugar mixture and mix until the pecans are evenly coated.
Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees until pecans are evenly browned, about an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Repeat as needed. :)
If you're looking for something fun to read while you munch on your leftover pecans (Ha! Like there will be leftovers!) I have a new six-part serial coming out in January - just in time for you to use one of those amazing Amazon gift cards you get for the holidays (or the one you WIN in THIS giveaway!)
The Talisman Chronicles tells the story of a group of ordinary teens, brought together by a mysterious force. They open up an old chest hidden in an attic, and as they find the talismans inside, they're granted some amazing powers.
Of course, there's a reason they get those gifts - something's coming, and it's something they'll have to fight.
T.M. Franklin writes stories of adventure, romance, & a little magic. A former TV news producer, she decided making stuff up was more fun than reporting the facts. Her first published novel, MORE, was born during National Novel Writing month, a challenge to write a novel in thirty days. MORE was well-received, being selected as a finalist in the 2013 Kindle Book Review Best Indie Book Awards, as well as winning the Suspense/Thriller division of the Blogger Book Fair Reader's Choice Awards. She's since written three additional novels and several best-selling short stories...and there's always more on the way.

My Favorite Things #enchantedpublications #giveaway

In a house with two very rambunctious kittens, my husband and I didn't get to do a lot of decorating for the holidays this year. We weren't quite brave enough to risk one of the minions destroying our hard work.

Instead, we opted to focus more on the things we love about the holiday season, like giving, which leads me to my most favorite part of the holiday....
1. Presents!
I am a big fan of finding the perfect gift for the cool kids in my life. I just love seeing their little faces light up with happiness and excitement. Since SS and I don't have any little ones at home, I'm not ashamed to admit that I spoil my two sisters' kids on holidays. Picking out their favorite things is so much fun! And this year, I have a brand new grandbaby, courtesy of my foster daughter, so I've had an absolute blast picking out the most adorable baby girl clothes on the planet.

2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
I have adored this story since I was a little girl. Every year, I make a point to watch the original movie (not that hot mess with Jim Carrey) as often as it's on television. I love everything about the book, and the movie is equally as wonderful.

3. Tootsie Roll Banks
It sounds like such a little, silly thing, but every year for as long as I can remember, I've gotten a Tootsie Roll bank at some point during the holiday season. I look forward to it so much! I'm a Tootsie Roll addict, and it's just not Christmas unless I get my grubby hands on a bank full of goodness.

What's better than curling up under the covers with a good book or plot bunny and a few hours of freedom from every day responsibilities? While I have to work rain, snow, sleet, or holiday, I try to make a point to take a little time to read and write during the holiday season. Last year, I spent some of that time writing All Over You, about a bossy San Francisco detective hot on the trail of the dangerous catfish who might just be the kindergarten teacher he's falling for. Both of their hearts and their futures are on the line in this sizzling erotic romance.

Want to win a copy of All Over You and more? Tell me your favorite part of the holiday season in the comments, and then enter the My Favorite Things Giveaway below!

Jiffy Kate's Favorite Things #enchantedpublications #giveaway
When asked to think of our favorite things related to Christmas, our minds immediately turn to family. What is Christmas without family and friends, right?
Like the characters in our books, we both value family more than anything. We also love the food, the decorating, the get-togethers, and of course making memories.
Oh, and Santa.
Who doesn’t love Santa?! ;)
We also love giving. The saying that it’s better to give than receive hits home with us. We both love paying it forward and spreading kindness 365 days a year, but especially during this time of year.
Kindness warms our souls.
If you’re looking for something to warm your soul, we think you should give our books a try!
All three of our books are set in the south. Who doesn’t love a good dose of sunshine and warmth during the winter months? We like to say they're southern-fried fiction with heart and soul.
You can find them on Amazon and read them for free on Kindle Unlimited!

Lindsey Gray's Favorite Things #enchantedpublications #giveaway

When it comes to Christmas there are so many things I love. I'd have to say my favorite thing about the holiday is the CHRISTMAS MOVIES! I am a movie junkie the rest of the year, but I can't get enough of the holiday gems. I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you today. Mixed Nuts (1994) I love Steve Martin, but this movie has an all star cast to back him up. This movie centers around a suicide hotline located in a building going condo. Nothing is worse than getting evicted at Christmas, but the lengths these characters go to save their building and themselves is as hilarious as it is inspiring. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) Chevy and Beverly lead another all star cast in this holiday staple. Clark just wants a big family Christmas, just once. But being a Griswold, nothing ever goes as planned. From huge Christmas trees, annoying neighbors, and a lighting display that can be seen from space, you have to fall in love with this dysfunctional family. White Christmas (1954) Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye head to Vermont with two sisters and decide to do what they can to help their former military commander bring life back into a Ski Lodge without any snow.Elf (2003) Any movie with Santa and his elves is aces in my book. Then this movie came along with the added humor of Will Farrell as Buddy and it is an instant classic! Buddy learns he wasn't born at the North Pole. His real father lives in New York City so Buddy gathers his wits and travels to meet his dear old dad. Plus there are hundreds of Hallmark movies that my husband rolls his eyes over. LOL. I try to devour each and every one. They've inspired me to write my one holiday tales.

Sydney Logan's Favorite Things #giveaway #enchantedpublications

Whatâs that? You donât like to wrap gifts?

I love, love, love to wrap presents! I love it so much that my family members bring me their gifts to wrap. When we travel north to spend the holidays with my husbandâs side of the family, his mom saves some gifts, just for me to wrap!
Enablers, every single one of them!
Of course, wrapping has its obstacles. Oddly-shaped gifts, misshapen boxes, and of course, little helpers.

So this year, when you're unwrapping your gifts, think about the person who wrapped them. Think about the love and care this individual took in choosing just the right paper, just the right bow . . . or maybe they just chose the right department store gift wrapper who did all the wrapping for them! Either way, enjoy!
Speaking of enjoy, you might enjoy Sydney's holiday short story collection, Once Upon a December. This book includes three holiday short stories that are sure to warm your heart this winter. And, it's just .99¢, which really makes it the perfect gift!
