Author Spotlight: Cd Brennan and Watershed

I’m pleased to showcase the book of an exciting new author I’ve just discovered. Cd Brennan is a sister author at Lyrical Press whose debut release, WATERSHED, is a pure delight. If you like contemporary romance with a strong hero and a plucky heroine, you’ll love this book pairing an Aussie rancher with an Irish lass who loves adventure. I recently had the pleasure of reading this novel and gave it a five star review on Amazon and Goodreads. The descriptions, especially of the Australian Out...

A Skip and a Hop by Mae Clair

I have been neglectful of my blog the last two days, which feels a bit like withdrawal. I’ve missed being here. Life got away from me for a bit, as it is prone to do every now and then. Now I’m back! Sort of, LOL. Today, I’m actually hopping over to Sonya Clark’s blogfor an interview to chatter about WE...

Childhood days are filled with fun, a time of delight and discovery. But children also have vivid imaginations for conjuring the denizens of make-believe. Like most otherworldly elements, the fantastical is inhabited with beings of light and dark.

Full moonMost of us remember the boogeyman under the bed, a malevolent creature born from the blood of midnight, dust and shadow. When darkness settled, the boogeyman left its realm, oozing to life through the floorboards beneath a child’s bed. We knew better...
