What’s goin’ on at THE FIREBALL PAD today…

Well, not so much today as this week. Incredible amount of coolness happening through-out the week, starting with today, but the hi-lights include incoming Mad Scientist Christopher Hubbard from Oregon, a meeting at TRUE PUBLIC RELATIONS, awesome event at WORLD CLASS MOTORING and a pitch meeting at PILGRIM STUDIOS for a new show. A couple, actually.

Want to get something on the air for you guys that’s fun, a bit wackadoodle and completely nuts at the same time. Plus, the new 2013 DODGE CHARGER will hit the Pad Monday.

For today… it’s Malibu. And the sun is coming out, thanks to Bride of Fireball…

Sunday MOVERS hit the land, sea and Chicago…

Ok, so some cool rides for past week consist of NISSAN’S Electric Le Mans racer, PORSCHE’S Pedal Car for kids, a crazy looking RIVERBOAT designed by an architect (Silly!) a classic fully restored 1951 CHICAGO FIRE TRUCK and the new JENSEN INTERCEPTER Concept. CPP TO BUILD THE NEW JENSEN INTERCEPTOR

An all-new Jensen Interceptor will be launched next year, after CPP Global Holdings was
appointed to engineer, develop and build the new car by the brands’ owners, Healey Sports
Cars Switzerland Ltd (HSCS).
CPP, the British specialist automotive group, will finalise the new car’s development in Coventry
and manufacture it at a new production facility on Browns Lane from 2014. A team of
Coventry-based design consultants employed by HSCS has completed the design of the new
Interceptor, which has already gained significant customer interest.
The new Jensen Interceptor – echoing the four-seat grand tourer layout of the much-loved
original built between 1966 and 1976 – is based on an all-new aluminium chassis and
handcrafted aluminium body. The public unveiling of the Interceptor is planned for late 2012,
with deliveries to customers beginning in 2014. Annual production numbers and pricing are
yet to be confirmed, but will be fixed to ensure ultra-exclusivity. Expressions of interest can be
registered on the website www.jensensportscars.com.
Brendan O’Toole, founder and co-owner of CPP, said: “I started my career by restoring bodies
and components for classic British sports cars, so for CPP to take the lead role in reviving this
iconic brand is very exciting for the business, and for me personally. The Jensen design team
has respected and honoured the great heritage and attributes of the original Interceptor, while
injecting a contemporary edge and advanced technologies that will ensure it appeals to the
passionate, discerning motoring enthusiast of today.
“This work is at an advanced stage, and married to CPP’s expert coachbuilding, craftsmanship
and engineering skills, the new Interceptor will be an exceptional example of British automotive
excellence,” he said.
Liam Cardiff, director of Healey Sports Cars Switzerland, said: “CPP is the perfect partner to
revive the iconic Jensen Interceptor. With the Jensen design team integrated into an
organisation with much greater resources and broader expertise, our dream of seeing the
Jensen and Interceptor badges once again adorning the bonnets of beautiful, modern,
British-built GT cars has come closer to reality.”
HSCS owns all assets, intellectual property, designs, and brand rights for the Jensen and
Interceptor brands.

• JURASSIC PARK 4 plot revealed!!

JURASSIC PARK 4, set in present day Isla Nublar, is now an actual theme park, as originally intended by John Hammond in the first film. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe – until it’s not. The park itself is described as very Sea World-esque and includes an area called the Isla Nublar Lagoon. That means underwater dino’s for the first time. No indication of what kind, but there’s concept art showing one of the aquatic dino’s, as part of a show, jumping out of the lagoon and eating a strung up great white shark like it was a fish for a dolphin at sea world.

As part of a show, you ask? That’s right, folks, this will feature “tamed” dino’s. In fact, our source indicated that the usually menacing Velociraptors (which will finally be muzzled, along with the T-Rex – until they’re not) will actually be used to help fight the threat, which begins in the form of a new dinosaur, not seen in any of the previous films (and not disclosed to us) shows to be much smarter than originally thought and is the main cause of havoc breaking out at the park.

So, to sum it all up, JURASSIC PARK 4 will take place back on Isla Nublar with a fully operational dinosaur theme park (I’m sure no expense was spared) that’s both prosperous and safe, until a new dinosaur figures out a way to wreak havoc, causing the use of the now tamed Velociraptors (and T-Rex? Unclear) as a means to fighting the threat.

Somebody dropped their ENGINE in the ocean…

Wups. I can see it now. A moonlit drive along Pt. Dume… A bottle of Dom Perrognonsene… Cheese… 1929… And then… all of a sudden…

YEEEOOOOWWWW!!! Over the side, never to be seen again. …Until now.

Went to do some beach-time at Pt Dume the other day and came across an interesting find. Looks like a motor, but hard to tell. I can see the cam and a few familiar parts. Maybe a tractor?

Can you identify what this is??? Anyone got an idea?

• X:MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is out May 23rd 2014, a week after Godzilla… Could that be X:ZILLA?
