DID YOU KNOW?? Ford’s 1929 Model A pickup truck was based on its Model A car. It used the same four-cylinder, 40-horsepower engine. Ford’s pickup was available in open and closed-cab versions. Factory price for the open-cab pickup was $430, while closed-cab trucks started at $445.

On today’s BEST OF SHOW reveals a BARE METAL HOT ROD
I’ve covered thousands of cars over the years and just eclipsed my 10,000th episode! And in that time, the focus has always been on KUSTOMS, being cool vehicle builds, Hollywood Cars or just something REALLY UNIQUE.
Today’s BEST OF SHOW was spotted at the Ventura Nationals and featured some really unique design cues, especially the grill. CHECK IT OUT BELOW! But also, be sure to VISIT THE GARAGE for more NEW super cool POP CULTURE items!

BOSOZOKU strikes again with Fireball’s TOYOTA SKETCH!
Every now and then, I get a hankerin’ to go a bit HOG WILD with the SKETCHES and do something original. And in Japan, Bosozoku Cars are as wild as they come. Just google the name and you’ll see a whole new level of BONKERS.
But today’s SKETCH is inspired using a 1969 TOYOTA HILUX PICKUP and adding… well, pretty much everything! Came out pretty fun and looks great IN THE STORE! Also the FIRST SKETCH to be emblazoned ON A FLAG! Check out all the JAPANESE CARS!

1964 ELECTRA KING Electric Micro Car nearly catches fire!!
There I was, minding my own business in a 1964 ELECTRA KING MICRO CAR when my butt started heating up. WATCH what happens…
DID YOU KNOW?? The Electra King was a line of electric city cars made in Long Beach, CA from 1963-1980. It wasn’t a good car by any standard.

BATMAN FOREVER BATMOBILE slithers into Fireball’s Garage
As I SKETCH my way through all the BATMOBILES over the years, I’m struck by how similar… and how different they are in design language. When I designed the 1989 Bat for the Tim Burton film, the description in the script of the time was LARGE & BLACK. That’s it. And so it is with all Bats.
Today’s SKETCH takes us back to the 3rd film BATMAN FOREVER and the Bat originally designed by Tim Flattery. But now with some revised Fireball Goodness for 2024. What do you guys think? Leave a Comment!

DID YOU KNOW? The Batman Forever Batmobile had a Chevy 350 ZZ3 high-performance power-plant. It had high compression, 345 horsepower, aluminum heads, angled plugs, and a good valve grind. The body was made from a high-temperature epoxy fiberglass laminate. All of the air was extracted though vacuum bagging.

THUNDERBIRD 2 explores silently into the Fireball Tim Garage
Were you a fan of THE THUNDERBIRDS?? Isn’t it time to bring in back in a big way? There was a film with Bill Paxton and directed by Jonathan Frakes (Check us out below on set for CLOCKSTOPPERS!) in 2004 that was done well and one of my favorite ships was the THUNDERBIRD 2. I didn’t get a chance to work on this one, but it was super cool and the ships were originally designed for the Gerry Andersen British TV Show in 1965. Yes, the year of the Fireball!

DID YOU KNOW?? “Set between 2065 and 2067, Thunderbirds follows the exploits of the Tracy family headed by American industrialist and ex-astronaut JEFF TRACY. Jeff is a widower with five adult sons. The Tracys make up International Rescue, a secret organization founded to save human life. They are aided in this mission by technologically advanced land, sea, air and space vehicles that are called into service when conventional rescue methods prove ineffective. The most important of these vehicles are the five “Thunderbird Machines”, each assigned to one of the five Tracy brothers.” And boy, were they cool.
