Rockin’ down with 90265MAGAZINE in Malibu… @90265mag @thedrewnewman @cecestein #malibu
Great time last night with my friends of 90265Magazine. We hit The Sunset Restaurant at the end of what we used to call free beach, via this week’s 2014 Challenger to see what they’re up to. Met Drew Newman of Ives The Band and walloped down some Ginger Ales. (I’m drivin’ folks…) A great mag with Issue #7 on hand. Snag a copy if you’re local or just see their site here and get the online edition. The photos and articles are world class and depict Malibu at it’s finest. May have to do some Fireball Goodness with these guys soon…

• Disney Exec says regarding new BOBA FETT Spin-off movie… “Lucasfilm wants BOBA FETT to remain menacing and scary but we have to make him the hero of the film and it is a real challenge.” Easy…. Take the easy road and make it all a dream. Wups. SEQUEL!
• Theater actor Ray Fisher has snagged the role of Cyborg in BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN… One baddis @ a time, folks. But he’ll back for sequels. Who is he?
Cyborg, also known as Victor Stone, is a superhero who is half man and half machine. His body was destroyed in a tragic accident, but he was saved through experimental technology; his body parts have been replaced with a large arsenal of high-tech gadgets and weaponry, while constantly providing life support. Stone struggles with his humanity as a machine, although his advancements have made him an unstoppable powerhouse.
• WARCRAFT movie set photo from Empire… Not much, but it’s probably got a Bagillion dollar budget, so there is that.
• Jessica Chastain may be the lead role for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5 … Um, that is after Mr. Cruise of course. You could NEVER put a woman in the lead right? That would make the movie really make sense. Comes out December 25, 2015.

Shooting this morning with my guest GY WALDRON, creator of “Dukes of Hazzard.” We’ll be driving an orange 2014 Challenger RT through Malibu, so if you see us, wave. Sick beast. (The car, not Gy!) If all goes well, episode will air on Monday.

• TERMINATOR 5 Press Release reveals… They’ll be back.
HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 23, 2014) – Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions announced today that principal photography is officially underway on the “TERMINATOR” reboot, directed by Alan Taylor (“THOR: THE DARK WORLD,” “Game of Thrones”). The film is shooting in New Orleans.
The new film is written by Laeta Kalogridis (“AVATAR,” “SHUTTER ISLAND”) and Patrick Lussier (“DRIVE ANGRY”). David Ellison and Dana Goldberg (“WORLD WAR Z,” “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS”) of Skydance Productions are producing. Executive producers are Skydance’s Paul Schwake (“WORLD WAR Z,” “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS”), Annapurna Pictures’ Megan Ellison (“AMERICAN HUSTLE,” “HER”), Kalogridis and Lussier.
“TERMINATOR” stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (“THE EXPENDABLES 1 & 2,” “TERMINATOR 1, 2 & 3”), Jason Clarke (“THE GREAT GATSBY,” “ZERO DARK THIRTY”), Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (“DIVERGENT,” “JACK REACHER”), J.K. Simmons (“MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN,” “UP IN THE AIR”), Dayo Okeniyi (“THE HUNGER GAMES,” “THE SPECTACULAR NOW”), and Byung Hun Lee (“RED 2,” “G.I. JOE: RETALIATION”).
The “TERMINATOR” franchise launched in 1984 with Schwarzenegger as the title character and spanned three subsequent films, which have earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
Paramount will distribute the film worldwide on July 1, 2015.

Ok, stay with me now. I’m gonna pull a brain-tweek on you…
We all want good things in our lives, right? Stuff that makes us feel good. And equally, we all want to avoid the bad things. Now, the clincher is that we don’t realize that we are the actual creators of every aspect of our life. EVERYTHING.
And realizing this is what it means to “awaken.” To “wake up,” “be born again,” “become enlightened” or my favorite… “Pop goes the Weasel.”
So… this being the goal… To wake up and create a perfect life, we have to first believe that we can. Do you? If not… you can stop reading this right now and go back to whatever lame thing you were doing before you started reading this. OR… you can keep reading. You CHOOSE.
So… as I was saying, we all want good things. And here’s the brain tweak part…
To develop anything positive, you need to restrain or “inhibit” its opposing negative. Stop focusing on the negative aspects and it dissolves. No, not instantly in some cases, like you Mother-In-Law, but over time. But some WILL right away. In order to do that, you need to develop and encourage the positive perception of things. All things. Get me? The actual transformation of the positive into the negative… CAUSES THAT POSITIVE TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN. Like Yeast in Dough.
What I’m saying is that your life becomes “what you give your attention to.” Whatever you focus on… EXPANDS. And the cool part is that you get to CHOOSE. Every day… and in every situation. You get to choose!
We take in information based on our 5 senses, then interpret what they mean to us. It’s our “perception.” Ignore the bad things and don’t give them any meaning. Things like people criticizing, being a poo-poo head as my wife calls it. The evil Dr. No’s.
FOCUS on what you want and fill your day with thinking about it. Think about it so much that you give your attention to it as fully as you can. Get INTO THE SPIRIT of it. Stop dwelling on things that hurt you and start thinking about coolness. RIGHT NOW! GIVE COOLNESS, GET COOLNESS.
You can do this. Work it like a muscle. Go to the mental gym. Become a mental Ah-nuld. But don’t expect your bicep to double it’s size after one work-out. Keep going, keep thinking about WHAT YOU WANT. Positive thoughts bring positive conditions. Guaranteed. It’s the “secret” and now it’s out…
Bing. Go get ‘em, tiger…

This is only the beginning folks as Hyundai is on the Fireball warpath with cool cars… but for now, tomorrow brings the 2014 DODGE CHALLENGER RT SHAKER for a 5Minute Drive with my guest Gy Waldron (Creator of Dukes of Hazzard!), then the 2014 BUICK LACROSSE, a ride in MALIBU ENGINE 70′s FIRE TRUCK for another episode followed by the 2015 CADILLAC ESCALADE! Whew! Gonna be awesome…
