Its official.  Admiral’s Gambit is now live on amazon!

Had some formatting issues with the first file I uploaded.  I had to wait 12 hours until I could upload again.  Which I promptly did once I saw this solid block of text in a weird font.  So now  its standard font with paragraphs.  Unfortunately Amazon converted my word file with its standard single indents into double indents on the second file.  But at least its readable now!

So thanks to everyone who bought  a copy of Admiral’s Gambit.  Between about 6pm and midnight I sold 41 copies.

Hope you get the new file uploaded onto your Kindle.

Anyway let me know what you think of the 2nd book in the series.  I’m pretty proud of it!

September 11th

Today is a day that shall live on in infamy!  Or some such.

Anywho - Update:  Total sales for the week ending 9/8 = 292.

So a small drop off from previous weeks.  Which is only to be expected as the book gets a tad bit stale and people start to wonder if there really is going to be a sequel put out there anytime in the forseeable future.  Which is why!

I’m hoping to finish the last editing pass and come hades or high water put the second book, Admiral’s Gambit up for review by amazon Tonight!

Meaning if I get it up tonight, 12 hours later, essentially tomorrow noon or a tad earlier, after amazon gets done approving it, the Gambit should be available for your viewing and reading pleasure!

September 5th

Okay.  So sales for last month = 1588 copies sold.

For the week ending 9/1 = 341

I’m pounding away on the edits as we speak.  Filling in all those nifty little gunner scenes that needed in but didn’t get installed in teh first pass, cause I was too busy with the main line stuff.

So far the response from the Beta’s has been quite positive!

August 30th

Sorry for the delay with the sales update.  Been working 65 hour weeks for he last two weeks on the day job.  It takes a bit out of you and doesn’t leave much time for other endeavors.

Okay so, week ending 8/25/12 total sales = 360

Made a hundred and twenty six bucks for the week.   So still not getting rich but on pace for around500 bucks for the month of August.   Not enough to think about quitting the day job just yet but write a few more…..

Now for the update on Admiral’s Gambit.  I’ve requested a few vacation days from work and the 6th-9th is firmly set aside for final pass editing, with the 12th and 13th set aside as overflow days.  Hopefully 6 days will be enough to get through it for the final edit

Before the 6th my brother is supposed to send me a draft with his two editing passes, which I’m going to send out to a few beta readers, and hopefully we can incorporate suggestions into the final product when him and I get together for the final version.

So still on pace for a September release.

8/19/2012 - Update

Well for the week ending 8/18/2012 sales = 367.  That’s around 52.4 sales per day.  Down 12 sales from last week and up 20 from the week before.  So maybe we’ve found a level.

Earned around $128.00 for the week according to Amazon.   So the Who? keeps on performing!

As for the Gambit?  As I may have already mentioned already through with the first editing pass, brother is working on the second pass and then we’ll go through it together for the 3rd.  Probably won’t be this week, as I’ve got lots of 16 hour double shifts lined up on the day job.

Still on pace for a September release.

8/14/12 - An Admiral Update

Well its 1:45 in the am.

Admiral Who? just smoked out 62 sales for the day ending at midnight, and I’m up to a total of 697 for the month, as of midnight, or actually 706 as of right now.  Woo-hoo!  Way to go team.

For the past two weeks I made a total of $250.00 not enough to get rich but more than enough to inspire the Hades out of me.  Sweet crying Murphy if that isn’t enough to get the old keyboard a fired up I don’t know what is!

Now for the update on Admiral’s Gambit.  The Brother is going through the first editing pass, and is a little over halfway through the book.  This is probably what would be called the copy editing pass.  We’ll see what he thinks of it when he gets to the end.  But so far so good.  He’s through the Primarch stuff and getting to meet the Little Admiral’s backstabbing cousin right about now.  All I can say is Watch Out!

After he’s done with the first pass, then we need to go over it all together, line by line, and give any of the more marginal areas the puff.

Fingers crossed but I’m thinking September is a really reasonable ETA for the Gambit.
