Promised by Michelle Turner Book Blitz
Title: PromisedAuthor: Michelle TurnerGenre: Young AdultBlitz Host:

[image error] Linc knows Wyn is the girl for him.
Wyn knows Linc is the boy for her.
But she’s promised to another.
Lincoln “Linc” Tatman had been at his new school for months and he thought he’d met all the girls it had to offer. Until one day, he spied Wyn sitting against a tree and realized this new place had been hiding the girl of his dreams. He goes out of his way to get to know her, even though he’s warned that it’s a hopeless case. But he’s determined to win her, even if she can only be his for a short time.
Arwyn “Wyn” Scott is the black sheep of her big gypsy family. When most of the girls her age are dropping out to start their own families, she begs her parents to stay. She doesn’t fit in with the gypsy teens and the regular teens are too afraid of her five older brothers to get close. Then Linc comes into her life, showing her a new life she never thought she could have. She can’t stop herself from falling head first for the boy.
Can Wyn leave behind her family and their traditions tofollow her heart, or will she become a young gypsy wife?
“Linc, there are things in my life that you can’t understand and this,” She waves her hand back and forth between the two of us, “will never be able to work out.”
“You can’t know that. You’re not even giving us a chance.” I cross my arms.
She throws up her arms, “You want to know how this will go if I give in?”
“Yeah, since apparently you’re a psychic, tell me how this will go, Wyn.”
“Say my family doesn’t find out, which is highly unlikely. And say if they do find out and they don’t hurt you. And Linc, those are two huge obstacles to overcome right off the bat. Well, say we overcome those, then what?” She runs her hands through her hair before she continues, “We’ll spend a few weeks, a few months it we’re lucky, together. But it won’t last after that, Linc. It’ll be over and we’ll be left with what? Nothing.”
“You’re wrong, Wyn. We’ll have the memories and I’d rather have those than nothing.” I want to reach out and grab her. I want to hold her in my arms but I know she has boundaries that I’m not use to and I can’t cross them. I’m afraid to even hold her hand, that it might cross some unseen line.
“I’m not sure I can handle the memories. Because if you give me everything I think you can and things turn out the way I know they will, I won’t be able to handle them. Knowing I had you and I had to let you go. I can’t do that, Linc.” There’s a quiver in her voice and I have to shove my hands in my pockets to keep from reaching out for her.
“You won’t have to let me go.”
“Yes, I will.”
“The only way I’m going anywhere is if you decide you don’t want me around.” I promise her.
“It won’t be me who pushes you away.”
“Well, I can promise I won’t push you away. I want to be with you, Wyn.”
“I’m promised, Linc.” As the words leave her lips, I watch the tears begin to escape her eyes.
“Explain please.” I have a feeling I know what it means but I need to hear it aloud.
“My Dad informed me last night that someone expressed interest in my hand. He’s going to accept the proposal.” She’s watching my face as she finishes, “I’m going to be married.”
Michelle is a 28 year old native Ohioan. Go Buckeyes! Who now lives with her husband and son in West Virginia. Review: Gravity

Gravity by Dannika Dark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I'm going to reiterate a constantly verbalized statement of mine: Dannika Dark has easily become my top favorite author, and all you have to do is start with the first paragraph of her first Mageri series book, Sterling. This series never gets old, with new twists and turns in every new step in the storyline. Dannika does NOT disappoint any step along the way, and the newest edition to her series really turns up the heat and action.
If you've read any of the previous books in this series, you can easily expect action and drama, with a pinch of humor and heart string pulling sprinkled in (yes, this is an understatement). However, not even I had expected how deep it would all go. I lost count how many times I wanted to laugh or cry, or laugh and cry, or laugh then cry then laugh and cry in synch, and...well you get the point. I just can't even accurately express how much I loved Gravity. New questions have arisen, but so many that have accumulated from the last three books were answered, or at least more clearly explained. Dannika has an amazing talent to leave a bread crumb trail for her fans to follow, with little slices of cakes and bits of candy to keep the treasure hunt intriguing (and full of sugar).
I've said it countless times, but YOU NEED TO READ THIS SERIES IF YOU HAVEN'T YET! I've managed to introduce a few close friends to Dannika's world, and not one of them has shown any form of disappointment! I mean come on. You KNOW what kind of story you're getting into when the main character compares her sex life (or lack of) to the amount of tongue action she gets from her cat IN THE FIRST PAGE OF THE BOOK! Yea, it's that good. And I'm being serious.
Once again, thank you, Dannika, for your best addition yet. Can't wait for the last installment, as well as further works by you!

Renegade Blog Tour @cambriahebert
[image error]
Title: Renegade (Heven and Hell #4)Author: Cambria HebertGenre: Young Adult ParanormalPublisher: Cambria HebertFormat: Print and EbookRelease Date: May 3, 2013
[image error] I’ve been beautiful. I’ve been ugly. I’ve died. I’ve been brought back. I’ve had abilities awakened within me. My strength has been tested. My beliefs have been tested.
Yet I stand.
What’s next when you’ve pretty much experienced it all?
The end.
Sam and I are picking up the pieces. We’re trying to come to terms with all we’ve lost. And as much as I would like to hide my head, ignore the reality I live every day, there is no forgetting.
Riley is in hell—I’m still not sure of his agenda. My mother’s past haunts me. And Kimber… Kimber is being herself. Cole sneaks glances at Gemma and she returns them when she thinks I don’t see.
But I do.
When Beelzebub escapes he brings his war to places I never thought he would. Earth. Maine. Home. Now everyone and everything is at risk. This has become bigger than my circle of friends. This has become bigger than me. I have to finish this. I have to find a way to stop him, to finish this war.
I just pray we will all be left standing in the end.
Chapter OneSam It begins like usual, the slightest disturbance to my sleep, making me toss and turn until I’m in that place between rest and wakefulness—not fully coherent, but enough so I could have groggy thoughts. There is pain, not the kind of pain that would make you squirm, just enough to make you feel uncomfortable. It kind of squirms around in my limbs, like adrenaline, but not as insistent, making my body twitch. My eyes pop open, and I shoot up off the couch, not bothering to grab a T-shirt or the shorts that lay nearby. I won’t need them. I move silently like a cat—like a hound—to the door and slide the lock over and let myself out. It’s cold out. The air doesn’t shock me back into myself. I don’t even shiver. Then I’m racing through the yard, over the grass, and past the barn. I hear the horses in their stalls, alerted at my presence, but I ignore them and keep running. My bones come unhinged and realign. My spine stretches, begins to reshape, and my body hunches. Black, thick fur sprouts, replacing the smooth skin of my human arm and then finally the switch in my brain flips.I am no longer human.I am hellhound. But I’m still me. Only this me can give in to the frustration and sadness that seems to well up inside my human skin until I’m so full and there’s nowhere else for it to go. And so it sloshes there. It soaks in until I feel like I’ll drown. I hate it. That’s when the hound takes over. I can’t really deny it. It’s like a summons, a calling, a command. Usually I can tell it no, or push back, but when you’re full of sloshing emotion there’s nowhere to push it back to.So I give in.I run. I lose all thought. It’s just me, the night, and nothing else. It’s a kind of freedom I’ve never felt before. And then I wake up.

Apocalypse of Angels: Seeing Angels Book Blitz @HLawsonAuthor
Title: Apocalypse of Angels: Seeing AngelsAuthor: Harmony LawsonGenre: Young Adult Tour Host: Lady Amber's Tours
[image error] Camille Harper, about to finish high school, can see angels all around her. They appear to watch her. She has been able to see angels from birth, and while she is amused by this ability, she just wants a normal life with friends, family, and good times. Why can she see angels? She doesn't know, but she believes the knowledge will change everything. Then she witnesses a confrontation between a beautiful angel and a dark winged creature. The strange event will signal the end of normal life.
Did the strange beings know she could see them?
Her friends want her to sneak out to an abandoned house for parties, but her instincts scream “NO!” Something is not right about the place. The hip new guy in school, Earl, wants to date, but she is afraid he will disturb her circle of friends, and there is something not right about him. Her parents aren’t doing well together. And whatever strange plot is developing, her sister may be in the middle.
Now, for the first time, Camille Harper is interacting with angels face to face. This is incredible, but when Jason Waters enters her life, she gets more than she bargained for. Her strange ability complicates life on a whole new level. Camille and Jason enter an exciting but forbidden relationship.
Strange beings present danger. What’s a Nephilim? What are fallen angels up to?
Jason believes something is strange with Earl, but Jason is hiding things from Camille as well. Which one is right for her? Are they both trying to possess her for supernatural reasons?
Camille just wants to make it through the year and graduate from high school, but changes are leading up to some apocalyptic event.
Can Camille continue Seeing Angels without her life going to Hell?
“I really want to see you again, Cami, but I’m not sure about this. I’m not sure I can.” His gaze is intense. There is no way for me to respond to that. I look down again.
He raises my hand to his lips and kisses. Electricity travelsup my arm. How can a kiss feel like that? Have we fallen in lovealready?
“Why wouldn’t you be able to see me again?” I finally have to ask.
“Never mind, just pretend I didn’t say that.”
He is hiding things from me, and I know what they are. Attraction is making me so weak that I am tempted to tell him what I know. I have to fight it.
His warm hand is smooth on top and rough on the palm. My hand must seem cold to him. He can hold my hand as long as he wants.
He sighs and kisses my hand again. “We better drive back to your car. I don’t want to keep you out too late.” He sounds like a guy trying to avoid trouble.
Harmony Lawson was born on a naval base in San Diego, California. Currently, she and her family live in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Her education is in drawing, painting, and writing. When she read her first romance novel at age 16, she became a hopeless romantic.
Harmony is fascinated by angels, and she incorporates research in angels, the Nephilim, and fallen angels into her fictional stories. Many of the descriptions in her books reflect actual documentation found in religious documents.
While she has endured many hardships in life, she believes life will be better tomorrow. Life has its ups and downs, trials and tribulations, and Heaven and Hell. She believes the bad times are a test to prove a person’s worth. Her books reflect on that concept.

I froze, too afraid to move. The steps began to get louder as each second passed. My heart was pounding to its own quick rhythm. A hand grasped my shoulder and I squeezed my eyes shut expecting the worse. I began to quiver uncontrollably, wanting to scream, to run as hard as I could, but my feet were frozen. I could only stand there as my tears mixed with the rain pouring over me.
The grip was released, and suddenly an arm snaked around my back turning me in the opposite direction. I couldn’t muster up the courage to look at the person helping me. I could only assume it wasn’t Aaron. Whoever it was had too gentle of a touch. Yet instead of feeling relief a sense of nausea washed over me. Granted, I was momentarily safe, but the emotions coursing through me had made it—for a brief moment—feel like it was happening all over again.
I didn’t want to be vulnerable in front of anyone who could take advantage of me. With my heart going 100 miles per hour in my chest, I tried to push away from the person and nothing happened. They didn’t budge and their grip around me was too strong. After many deep breaths, I got the courage to glance up into eyes the color of emeralds—eyes filled with concern. My legs gave out and I sagged in his arms. Steve didn’t hesitate. He slowly lowered me to the wet asphalt and sat there while I sobbed into his already wet shirt.
Kelsie Blanton is a fun-loving young woman from a small town in Kentucky. Writing has always been her passion and when she’s not working at her full-time job, she is at home writing on something. Happy reading!

When Love Prospers Release Day Blitz @MelDFMac #WhenLoveProspers

“When Love Prospers” (When Love trilogy)By Melanie MacekRelease Day Blitz May 11, 2013
[image error] The timing of the job at Larsen Financial is perfect for Helen Randall. Coming off of a several failed relationships, she desperately needs not only the boost to her bank account but also to her self-esteem. When her immediate supervisor leaves for a two week vacation, Helen will be forced to work with Trevor. When her personal life intrudes on her professional one, Trevor becomes an unexpected ally. It becomes difficult to keep from thinking about her boss in a less than professional manner.
Trevor Mcintosh is good at his job. When the CEO of Larsen Financial offered him the opportunity to start up and run the San Francisco branch office, he jumped at the chance. After six months in the city, he’s getting tired of the constant round of parties, women and meetings. When he’s forced to work one on one with Helen, he finds that the woman he barely acknowledged in the past poses a serious threat to his sanity. He’s ready to give up his late nights out in exchange for evenings in with one woman. Can he convince her they would be better as a team outside of work too?
Melanie has been writing in some form or another as long as she can remember. From songs to plays (a bad one) to poetry (not her forte) to romance, the urge to write has always been there. She read her first romance book at the age of 13 and hasn’t looked back. A voracious reader, Melanie has been making an effort to expand her reading horizons, thanks to forced college papers. Other genres have captured her imagination, but Romance will always hold her heart. A native Californian desert rat, Melanie has lived over half of her life on the Texas Gulf Coast. Braving mosquitoes, humidity, and the occasional voluntary hurricane evacuation, she and her husband and their two 4-legged children – who have their own page on the blog – spend time with family, friends, and planning their next travel adventure. She writes in most of her spare time and always makes sure to take a pen and paper with her just about everywhere she goes.
