BOOK SPOTLIGHT_THE REPLACEMENT WIFE
Five years after his beloved wife's death, wealthy Quentin Chambers still hasn't returned to the church or his music ministry. Even his home is now devoid of music, and without his attention, Quentin's five children are getting out of control—until his mother steps in and hires him a live-in nanny. Montana is pretty, compassionate, church-going, and even has a beautiful singing voice. The children take to her right away, and soon enough Quentin finds his heart opening to faith—and love—once more. But not everyone loves Montana. . . A "friend" of Quentin's first wife, Chloe has been scheming to become the next Mrs. Chambers since the funeral. Chloe is convinced she's just one seduction away from a marriage proposal. Now she'll do whatever it takes to get rid of Montana—including blackmail, theft—and digging up a troublemaking man from Montana's past. But Chloe forgets she's got secrets of her own, and the tables may turn with a twist she never sees coming. . .

MONDAY MOTIVATIONAL MOMENT_ARE YOU LIVING IN THE PAST, PRESENT, OR FUTURE?
The past is a ghost, the future a dream. All we ever have is now. –Bill Cosby
Sometimes we are caught up in our past and the hurts and pain that we have endured. Our past drama blocks out our current blessings that have been bestowed upon us. We cannot live in the moment because we are living with a shroud of hurt and unforgiveness. We take this baggage with us and place it on others laps, by having a negative attitude, by blaming others, not loving them, and failing to forgive them of any wrongdoing they have committed against us.
Other times our future looks so bright and our hopes of the future are so bright that we stay focused on that. We forget to live in the present moment and appreciate the blessings of right now. When we do that we tend to take others for granted, and not show our appreciation of them.
Living in the present moment allows you to take every moment one step at a time. You can live in the fullness of life and embrace every opportunity, appreciate every challenge, overcome every obstacle and love completely.

Your assistance will be needed in both the weekly and monthly missions that are generated. The missions range from attending a Facebook Chat, to sharing, liking, or RT'ing a link, video, or post.

WRITER WEDNESDAY_THE DIVA TAKEOVER!
Hey everybody! It's your fabulous top stylist. The best in the ATL...Mr. Tyrone Johnson! I make brief appearances in this first book of BeJeweled: The Flight of an Angel. You will get to know me better in the other books. And if you read any of the excerpts featuring me, don't think you know me. Don't judge me. Because you just might get checked, boo! Child you ain't got a whiff of me, yet!Anyhoo, I'm what makes The House of BeJeweled pop, baby! With my fab over the top hairstyles, I am the most requested hair stylist at the country's top hair and fashion shows. If it weren't for me...The House of BeJeweled wouldn't be all that girlfriend. Trust! You can ask anybody who they come up in there asking for and they will tell you...you betta calllll Tyrone! But for some reason, that ole bougie, ghetto chick Chelle Ramsey didn't want to feature me too much. Why? Cuz she thought I was a bit over the top. Hmpph!
Well how did I end up hosting the blog today? I'll tell you how. Darla the other half of the B.A.D. gossip duo at BeJeweled got sick. She couldn't even try to write half of a blog post. She was whining and all that stuff about how she didn't feel good. I told her to rest her pretty little head on that pillow at home, cuz this diva's gotcha back. She was so happy that I took over. Then she's gone ask me to behave myself. Behave? Behave? Uh who does she think she talking to? This diva puts the "B" in behave. Anyway, enough about them and they ratchet behinds. Let's talk about your favorite subject. Moi!
All the young and hot people wants their hair done by your diva, Tyrone. But there's a waiting list for these precious hands to touch your hair girlfriend. I select who I will and won't service. And nope I'm not talking about my love life. Haha! I bet you thought I was gonna give you a snippet. Nope! You'll have to read the book to find out what's going on behind my closed doors.
So anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, everyone wants my hands in their hair. One of the ladies that I selected to sit in my chair was Ame. Ame was my girl, she was cool or so I thought. She came up in there and saw how we were like family. Well one day, Ame was supposed to be my first client of the day, but she arrived early while we were having a team meeting. I won't tell what happened and who it happened to...but some drama broke out at that meeting. Ms. Ame took advantage of the situation and exploited it. And needless to say, all hell broke loose! Girlfriend, there was no drama in the book that could compare to that one day in the shop. And the thing that Ame did, kicked off the major drama for book 2. What did she do? Honey, you'll have to check out the book like everyone else.
But in the meantime, you can catch a sneak peek at what's going on in the trailer right here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCH0LiPtOz8
And don't forget to click, like and share...even if they didn't feature me in this one. And don't be hatin' on my girl...I mean, I can be mad at her but you can't. So if you don't like and share, I'm gone know it was cause y'all was just hating. Anyway, I've gots to get back to my chair. Cuz this fab diva is in hot demand and my time is money. I'm not getting paid to entertain y'all. See ya!
You know what...I think I'll let the cat out the bag, the book's already available in paperback. Check and see if this diva is real...

MONDAY MOTIVATIONAL MOMENT_A MOTHER'S TALE
Every Monday I strive to motivate and encourage you to live your life to the fullest, to live your life on purpose, and to pursue your dreams. There have been so many sacrifices made that we might attain our dreams. There have been so many sacrifices made that the dreams of others would not only be fulfilled, but pave the way for our dreams.
Yesterday in church, I was blessed to see a 90 year old mother stand up on her own strength, walk to the altar and recite Langston Hughes' "The Negro Mother." Her voice was clear, loud, proud and strong. Years of wisdom were etched on her face and streaked her hair grey. She was beautiful, she was intelligent, she was inspirational, she was and is...Take a peek »

KINDLE COUNTDOWN SALE_IS THE GRASS REALLY GREENER?
I'm sharing an excerpt from Is the Grass Really Greener, because it's on sale this weekend. Don't miss The Kindle Countdown for Is The Grass Really Greener. Don't miss your chance to get your copy.EXCERPT:
Courtney found herself nodding her head to the beat of the music, more than she was focused on her report. Anita Baker’s “I Apologize” was on the radio playing softly in the background on KSTORM. She had to get this report done for tomorrow morning’s budget meeting. Stretching back in her chair, she let out a long yawn and shook her head to shake the sleep off. It was 11:55 at night and she knew that she had to be up at four in the morning. But these numbers just weren’t shaking out right.

#TBT STORYTIME_IS THE GRASS REALLY GREENER?
As I prepare to release my fourth novel, the first book in a four-book series, I want to travel back a short distance ago to September 2013. I was excited to be releasing my third novel, and engaging readers in my first Facebook launch party. As I embark upon this journey again, I reflect on the fun that I had preparing for the release of Is the Grass Really Greener? I shared excerpts, introduced you to the characters, let them host the blog, and we got up close and personal with them. Today I am sharing an old blog post from Is the Grass Really Greener? Why? Because I'm having a Kindle Countdown sale on ITGRG this weekend. Take a peek »

BECOMING ME_BOOK SPOTLIGHT TUESDAY
Thirty-one-year-old Terri Williams, a professional woman seems to have it all. By most standards, Terri has made it; she has found the perfect man, a good job, a solid house, close friends, and strong familial bonds. But something inside her gnaws at her soul. Nine years ago, she loved and left Lamar Carrington. Despite the terms on which they broke up, his image, speech, and scent are never far from Terri’s heart. In her darkest moments, she considers much of the successful life she has built merely a coping mechanism to adjust to the great loss of what once was.
This epic tale of love, friendship, family, and parental bonds stretches outside Atlanta to take in tropical Florida, big-city Chicago, and the Caribbean delights of Jamaica. From dealing with her troubled sister, her unknowing relationship, and the compelling desire for an ex-lover, Terri has a world of hurt and love to unravel.
