Update on Sequel!
I have posted here and there about the sequel, but haven't properly come out and given an update. SO, here it goes:
I had originally projected that the sequel would be released in December. Since then, so much has changed...
First, I have joined forces with Harlequin, who now owns the print and ebook rights to both Blindfolded Innocence AND Masked Innocence (the sequel). Their involvement means that BI and the sequel will be available in print form throughout the world, but also (and more importantly to you) will be professionally edited and published, a process that Blindfolded Innocence is currently undergoing, and one that has improved it immensely. I submitted the sequel to Harlequin in November, hoping and pushing them to release the sequel as close to December 20th as possible. I am quickly learning that publishers work on a COMPLETELY different time table than little 'ole me.
It took three weeks to get a response, but Harlequin has finally committed that they will rush the sequel through the publication process, but will not release it until AFTER Blindfolded Innocence's print release, which will happen in June 2013. So, bottom line - the sequel won't be released until probably July or August 2013. I cringed when I got this news, and am fully prepared for the rotten fruit, curses, and any hatred you want to throw my way. I'm ready, please don't throw things too hard.
But, on the flip side - as angry as I was (and I was steaming), when I found out about the sequels' late release date, I was just as brought down to size when I got my editor's notes on the sequel. Truth be told - the sequel IS NOT READY. I would have published it, and I know you would have loved it, but reading over my editor's notes, I see all of the possibilities and ways that the sequel could grow, improve, be better than what I would have released. The publishers have their ridiculous time tables because time is needed to flesh out, rewrite, and properly proofread the book. I am currently going through almost a total rewrite and reorganization of the sequel, and loving me some Brad De Luca in the process. :)
In conclusion - sorry this turned into a soapbox speech - I sincerely apologize that I will not be able to meet the original, announced deadline of December 20th. I will release some teasers between now and its release - it's the best I can offer right now.
Forgive me for changing everything, but please know that, in the giant scheme of things, this is great news for both BI and the sequel. Thank you for your support, and for taking the time to read my smut. I love you all for it!
*okay, you can throw stuff now - I am ducking!*

Masked Innocence Blurb reveal!
When Kent Broward is murdered, suspicion is everywhere, including at his fresh-faced intern. As Julia digs deeper, she finds secrets everywhere, including a few that implicate Brad De Luca. Is the man she is falling for a killer? And has her research made her the next target?
It is the party of the year, a masked extravaganza that the city’s hottest and wealthiest couples attend. Couples that don’t mind group sex and sharing. Julia, on Brad’s arm, has no idea what the night will bring. She certainly doesn’t expect a familiar face, or is prepared for the thought of sharing Brad with another woman.
But jealousy is only one of her problems. A man waits at her home, with nothing on his mind but her execution. As things spiral out of control, feelings are discovered, secrets are buried, and love may be the only thing to bring the chaos to an end.
