New Series Coming Soon! Sneak Peek!
I have finished, and sent to the editors, a 4-part miniseries. Here is the blurb for Book 1:
The lights have become a blanket of sorts, wrapping me in their warmth, shielding me from whatever is out there to hurt me. They block the faces that stare, the eyes that follow my movement. I used to squint when they came on, would duck my head to avoid the glare. But ducking takes me under the glare and reveals the world behind the lights, and that is a world I don’t want to see.
When salvation comes in the form of six feet of drop-dead-gorgeous, complete with a limo and a thick wad of cash, my stilettos run happily out the door to freedom. They say that money doesn’t buy happiness. But it does buy escape. Happiness is an overrated fairytale.
Book 1 excerpt:
He leans forward and kisses me, and I suddenly don’t need the image of dollar bills to distract my mind. Everything floods the moment his lips touch mine.
Soft, sweet lips. Not what I expect from this commanding man. He brushes my lips softly, my lips parting for him, immediately wanting more. A groan slips from my mouth before I have a chance to capture it. His hands move up through my hair, gripping and pulling its strands. He tastes me, spreading my lips gently with his and dipping his tongue inside. I respond eagerly, my body taking over my mind, shoving it aside forcefully as a wave of arousal hits me. His touch turns harder, his mouth more demanding and he moves me backward, my heels skittering over tile, till the edge of the table is against me.
His hands grip my ass, squeezing it roughly, one hand on each cheek and lifts me easily, setting me on the table, the surface cool against my skin.
“Lay down,” he bites out against my mouth, taking one, last, torturous sweep of my mouth before he pulls off, stepping back and watching me.
I grip the glass top, sliding backward until my elbows are resting on the glass. I watch him, watch as he unbuttons his sleeves. He breathes hard, his eyes glued to mine and walks towards me, stopping a foot from the table.

How to have the Best 4th of July EVER
Start your Independence Day off right by staring at the beautiful man in the top half of this post. That’s Gary Taylor – google him – he’s gorgeous!
Okay, moving on. Here is my ‘to do’ list to make this 4th of July extra amazing:
1. First thing, hang your flag. Don’t have one? Stop reading and buy one NOW.
2. Eat a patriotic breakfast. Think strawberry/blueberry yogurt parfait, or strawberry/blueberry/whipped creme pancakes.
3. Get your fill of food-eating contests at noon EST. Watch 20 hungry hot dog fans compete in Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, a Coney Island July 4 tradition. Across the river, Manhattan’s Eventi Hotel will host Takeru Kobayashi, the world’s fastest hot-dog eater — his record is 69 dogs in 10 minutes. Not in NYC? Catch it on TV – its on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3 (overkill, I know)
4. Recognize those who keep our independence. Go to a local restaurant and look for someone in uniform, or who looks to be a veteran (they will typically wear something on july 4th) and offer to buy their meal.
5. Road trip to the closest place where you can buy real fireworks. I’m not talking about the four-pack they sell in a tent in the Walmart parking lot. I’m talking about one-shot rockets that are the size of a can of paint.
6. Invest twenty bucks in a slip and slide. Invite over friends, fill a cooler with drinks, grill steaks and hook up the slide.
7. Light those fireworks off! (make sure all pets are inside – more pets get lost on July 4th then any other day of the year)
8. Settle down in front of the couch and watch a movie.
Top Ten Patriotic Movies to watch:
10. The Patriot
9. Top Gun
8. National Treasure
7. Forrest Gump
6. Saving Private Ryan
5. Red Dawn
4. All the President’s Men
3. Air Force One
2. Letters from Iwo Jima

Masked Innocence Release Date : Sequel to Blindfolded Innocence
You can’t see me, but I am on my kitchen floor, on my knees, and not in a sexy-time position. I’m in full-on begging mode. PLEASE, don’t send me hate mail. PLEASE, don’t egg my house or unfan me on Goodreads. PLEASE understand that there are things that are not in my control.
I have received information from Masked Innocence’s publisher and wanted to update you on what is going on with the book. A few months ago, I sent an email, similar to this, that stated that Masked would be released this summer. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.
I sincerely apologize for that miscommunication; I was passing on information that I had received and thought/hoped to be true. have been informed that Masked Innocence’s ebook release is now going to coincide with its print release, which pushes it back significantly. The final, confirmed release date is February 25,2014.
I realize that, for many of you, this news will cause frustration towards me. I, as a reader, can completely understand and empathize with your anger. Trust me when I say that I, as the author of Masked Innocence, was and am very upset by this news. I live and breathe Brad and Julia and it kills me that the release has been delayed for this long.
The good news: Yes, there is some good news! There is a book 3!! I have not mentioned it yet I wanted it to be certain, so I wouldn’t be feeding misinformation to my readers again. The full release schedule is as follows:
Blindfolded Innocence ebook and print release: January 25, 2014
Masked Innocence ebook and print release: February 25, 2014
The End of the Innocence* ebook and print release: March 25, 2014
*name may change, don’t write that in stone*
As a reader, I often try and avoid series unless all of the books are out, or are soon to be out. I hope you will be pleased with this schedule and the close release dates, which should make for a smooth reading experience. I know that it doesn’t make up for my failure to deliver Masked Innocence as expected, – again, please know that that was not in my control, my hands have been tied since November 2012 in that regard.
More good news: I am trying as hard as I can to release a Blindfolded Innocence ebook novella – something that involves those characters to tide you over until the release date. My goal is September for that publication.
I am also releasing a 4-part erotic romance mini-series; that should pub late summer as well.
Thank you all for your love and support. I don’t deserve how wonderful and patient you all have been. You guys are wonderful.
Sincerely,
Alessandra

Hilarious Things said on the Stand
These brief snippets are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts. These are items people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and published by court reporters. Someone sent me these items and they were too hilarious not to share.
ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband said to you
that morning?
WITNESS: He said, ‘Where am I, Cathy?’
ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you?
 WITNESS: My name is Susan!
 _______________________________
ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact?
 WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.
 ____________________________________________
 ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active?
WITNESS: No, I just lie there.
 ____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth?
 WITNESS: July 18th.
 ATTORNEY: What year?
 WITNESS: Every year.
 _____________________________________
ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you?
 WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can’t remember
which.
ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you?
 WITNESS: Forty-five years.
 _________________________________
ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory
at all?
 WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory?
 WITNESS: I forget..
ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of
something you forgot?
 ___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn’t it true that when a person dies
in his sleep, he doesn’t know about it until the next morning?
WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?
 ____________________________________
ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he?
WITNESS: He’s 20, much like your IQ.
 ___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?
 WITNESS: Are you shitting me?
 _________________________________________
ATTORNEY: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August
8th?
 WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: And what were you doing at that time?
 WITNESS: Getting laid.
 ____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: She had three children , right?
 WITNESS: Yes.
 ATTORNEY: How many were boys?
 WITNESS: None.
 ATTORNEY: Were there any girls?
WITNESS: Your Honor, I think I need a different attorney.
Can I get a new attorney?
 ____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?
 WITNESS: By death..
ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated?
 WITNESS: Take a guess.
 ___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual?
WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard
ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?
WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I’m going with male.
 _____________________________________
ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a
deposition notice which I sent to your attorney?
WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work.
 ______________________________________
ATTORNEY: Doctor , how many of your autopsies have you
performed on dead people?
WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a
fight.
 _________________________________________
ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school
did you go to?
 WITNESS: Oral…
 _________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
WITNESS: The autopsy started around8:30 PM
ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time?
WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished.
 ____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample?
WITNESS: Are you qualified to ask that question?
 ______________________________________
 And last:
ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you
check for a pulse?
 WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
 WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
 WITNESS: No..
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive
when you began the autopsy?
 WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been
alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive
and practicing law.

And without further adieu…. here is your Masked Innocence teaser:
***
I wore a black pantsuit, and removed my jacket, shivering slightly in the cold house. I met his gaze, seeing pure authority there. I took two steps to the left and turned, facing the sink and looking out the window that hung above it. Darkness still blanketed the street, and the kitchen light no doubt illuminated the room to anyone on the two-lane road. “Brad, the light—”
“Unzip your pants and drop them around your ankles.” His order came from behind me and I heard his footsteps sound on the stone floor. I hesitated, but felt the need twitch inside me, the twinge when my cunt squeezed tight and begged for stimulation. As I heard the familiar rip of foil, I unzipped my pants and pulled both them and my already wet panties down around my ankles. I bent over the sink, resting my elbows on the edge of the counter, and arched my back, offering myself to him.
I felt his rough hands, sliding down the curve of my skin, traveling closer, closer to my apex, and my eyes closed when he reached the wet area between my legs. “God, you are already wet,” he breathed, tracing my opening with a finger. I flinched at his touch, tightening my inner walls. He ran his finger over my taint and the place where it met my wetness, playing with that skin, and I gasped, gripping hard granite with my hands. I pushed back against his fingers, wanting something, anything inside me.
Brad pressed against me, putting a hand up my dress shirt. He bit my neck gently, then sucked at the skin, and I tilted my head back, opening my throat to him. “Put your fingers in me,” I whispered.
***
I know, short and sweet – but I’ll give you a few more snippets as the summer progresses. In the meantime, please check out The Girl in 6E – I hope you love it as much as I do.
Hugs to you all, hope your week is going well!
xoxo

COVER Reveal - The Girl in 6E!
With no final delay, here it is….

Too Sexual for Mainstream... On Me In Me gets a NEW Title!
Apparently I was alone in that rationale.
Word has come down from above, from one of the two ebook giants that control our self-publishing world – NOT APPROVED. Too racy, not front-page friendly, too sexual. It was the ‘In Me’ that was the title’s demise: four little letters that might as well been FUCK in giant font.
Honestly, the thought hadn’t occurred to me. I never dreamed it would offend someone, but now suddenly understand my relative’s flushed faces, eyes that had darted to the side, children shooed out of the room when my blatant, foul-mouthed self had happily tooted my newest book and its ‘oh-my-gosh-thats-scandalous’ title.
So there I sat – with a rejected title and less than three weeks to press time. My husband and I ordered pizza, guzzled Red Bull, devoured Sour Patch Kids, and brainstormed. Some of the titles sucked, some were still too sexual, and some didn’t make any damn sense, but we finally came up with a keeper:
The Girl in 6E
I know, anti-climatic, right? Some might say it is boring… But let it grow on you, it grew on us. For those who have read the book, it makes sense, and has a connection that sprouts out as the book goes on. It is simple, it works, and best of all – can’t possibly offend anyone. The last thing I need is another ‘banned’ book – Blindfolded went through that and it killed its growth.
I am working on a cover now – I have one chosen but want to get it approved by Amazon and B&N first…before I paint the town with it
Much love to you all – please spread the word about the new title, and shoot me a line if you see any places where it still has the old one showing.
