Masked Innocence Pub Date

You can’t see me, but I am on my kitchen floor, on my knees, and not in a sexy-time position. I’m in full-on begging mode. PLEASE, don’t send me hate mail. PLEASE, don’t egg my house or unfan me on Goodreads. PLEASE understand that there are things that are not in my control.

I have received information from Masked Innocence’s publisher and wanted to update you on what is going on with the book. A few months ago, I sent an email, similar to this, that stated that Masked would be released this summer. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

I sincerely apologize for that miscommunication; I was passing on information that I had received and thought/hoped to be true. have been informed that Masked Innocence’s ebook release is now going to coincide with its print release, which pushes it back significantly. The final, confirmed release date is February 25, 2014.

I realize that, for many of you, this news will cause frustration towards me. I, as a reader, can completely understand and empathize with your anger. Trust me when I say that I, as the author of Masked Innocence, was and am very upset by this news. I live and breathe Brad and Julia and it kills me that the release has been delayed for this long.

The good news: Yes, there is some good news! There is a book 3!! I have not mentioned it yet I wanted it to be certain, so I wouldn’t be feeding misinformation to my readers again. The full release schedule is as follows:

Blindfolded Innocence ebook and print release: January 25, 2014
Masked Innocence ebook and print release: February 25, 2014
The End of the Innocence* ebook and print release: March 25, 2014
*name may change, don’t write that in stone*

As a reader, I often try and avoid series unless all of the books are out, or are soon to be out. I hope you will be pleased with this schedule and the close release dates, which should make for a smooth reading experience. I know that it doesn’t make up for my failure to deliver Masked Innocence as expected, - again, please know that that was not in my control, my hands have been tied since November 2012 in that regard.

More good news: I am trying as hard as I can to release a Blindfolded Innocence ebook novella – something that involves those characters to tide you over until the release date. My goal is September for that publication.
I am also releasing a 4-part erotic romance mini-series; that should pub late summer as well.

Thank you all for your love and support. I don’t deserve how wonderful and patient you all have been. You guys are wonderful.

Sincerely,

AlessandraMasked Innocence

Lucy Lit Hang in there. We can be frustrated right along with you but your fans will wait for the rest of the story. Feel free to crank out more good stuff! Maybe something using that kneeling position in the kitchen, um? Food for thought. :P

lol - it's okay, you can still be mad! I drowned myself in tequila shots and threw my phone across the room when I found out. :)

Mira Thank you for the update. The whole thing about reading books that are sequels is you really need patience since publishers or even self publishing authors run into delays. As a fan I just thank you for the update, even though it is not a happy one. I look forward to Feb. 2014.
