327 days, 140.6 miles. Ironman California 2022, here I come.

Of course, all I’ve done so far is pay a registration fee and buy a sweatshirt. All I’ve decided is to try.

But I’ve always believed it’s the trying that keeps us alive.

That said, the farthest I’ve ever gone is 70.3 (2018)—touch and go, at best. And the last marathon I ran (2019) was a total disaster. In other words: I 100% reserve the right to quit anytime, archive the shit out of this photo and pretend none of this ever happened.
