A HUGE thank you to this man Eric Franz, the brilliant and generous criminal defense attorney who has given so much time to me these past months, even taking me to Rikers Island and then not killing me when I forgot my car registration. I’ve been in the Bronx today watching him work his magic—it’s an amazing thing to witness. So much of what I love most in my new adult mystery hitting shelves Summer 2020 (a domestic suspense meets legal thriller) is thanks to watching Eric so tirelessly defend his clients. If you ever get arrested find him. I know that’s exactly what I’ll do—I mean would do. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on getting arrested. Also, if you are an aspiring novelist writing about anything outside your daily life (ie about anything) get yourself an actual real life expert.
